EVE News | Jurius Doctor for CSM 

Thank goodness, someone trying for CSM that I know and respect. Guy Onacouch.

I'm very new to Eve. I've been playing for the last couple weeks. I see that Eve heavily relies on social interaction but I think new player retention would be improved if more emphasis was put on solo players in the early days/months of our piloting careers. I come back often to your videos for some solid advice on progressing in the very complex game that Eve is. For a game that allows or promotes some very niche rp betrayal/scams/pvp looting. Solo play is a very big part of my early game. Eventually I'll move to a corp but I feel like a lot of players get burnt playing solo the first few weeks getting blown up all while concerned that joining a corp in Eve can very much be a commitment that alot of people don't want to do early on. I plan on playing this game for many years to come and would like to see it grow. I'd be interested in joining a vet Corp thats willing to teach a more casual player to run some group stuff and potentially fleet up for larger operations. I only fly frigates atm and don't really know if I'll ever wanna give up the speed to move on to larger ships anytime soon. Unfortunately irl takes up a lot of my time. Thanks for the vids, Eve is a hell of a game to learn.

Definitely You have my voice! Without your youtube channel i probably wouldn't play this game now. At this moment i have about 60 days in game and counting :) EVE Online need people like You for CSM, now more than ever... Good luck and fly safe o7

Want more retention ? See the example of Mortal Online, see what it failed. Learn. Make the game f2p or don't make it "f2p" at all. Overwhelming amounts of info + you can only mine, at best you get to do calm abyssal after some weeks (for those who even get to know them) oh and oc.. you can always shit your pants for free.. Skins could be member online, capital ships member only.. a lot of specific and near end game things could be for omegas and f2p a.k.a new players would have a lot more to do, omegas would take more into consideration new players cause they would be usefull. etc etc.. no other way.

When it comes to general player representation, the CSM has always been a complete joke. Unless they redesign the way it gets elected, this likely won't change. I've yet to face a CSM candidate that actually wants to do something about its election process. Pushing for NPE simply won't cut it if you're in a board that consists of nullblock vets only that have never touched an alpha account. You have to address the rot from the core, which is the CSM itself and how it gets elected.
