There getting better with the scope everytime they release a video I quite too enjoy them as well

@@Theigzorn for a while that existed. Back when captains quarters was a thing this would sometime play on the screen in there. And I think you can see it on the news billboard now and then as well. Not sure there are any sound though

This is very true and made me laugh. They sometimes don't even update that kinda shit to match the updated lore they release. Karin Midular was still listed as the CEO of the Sebiestor tribe corp for years after she died. Random bald Minmatar chick is too funny though.

Good point, and if they are doing all the main empires, I want one about Jove, as they are very mysterious but have a lot of potential.

I concur, been waiting for our synopsis video. Figures that Caldari are always last for things like this... considered underdogs even to the EVE gods, it seems...

There aren't really any significant capsuleer forces in Empire space though. If a bribe or hack got through in the right place and a cyno went up in Jita...

Since, like, forever. I wasn't around back then, but wasn't there a thing years ago when upon ship destruction the game would tell you how many crew members have just died? In any case, the idea is that while the capsuleer controls the ship in terms of all the key decisions (where to fly, what to shoot) and such, and that does reduce the crew requirements, there's still a need for normal crew members assisting with secondary tasks, maintenance and whatnot. Some frigates are single-person and Iteron mark V is known for having very little crew for its size. But there's definitely been lore bits describing in detail how the views and capabilities of different factions affect the relative crew numbers (Gallente value life and are good with robotics - least crew; Amarr have a ton of slaves to throw away - most crew; Minmatar would prefer less crew, but don't have the technologies of the Gallente - average amount of crew; Caldari do have the technologies, but also don't like "robots stealing their jobs", so also average amount of crew... or something along these lines, don't quote me).

Maintenance workers, janitors and cafeteria personnel. Do you really want your capsuleer to be jumping into a maintenance droid spending 8 hours wrenching bolts as a minigame?

@@brainletmong6302 Automated maintenance droids do the job. And I can intervene from my capsule interface if needed.

That you mention has no logic, it could have been done with time, only that in itself the game was boring all blue, there was nothing, after the supposed "End" of the war many began to play again in addition to attracting new players. But I understand that fanaticism blinds you a little ......

Yep, not a single word about all that stuff. The main thing there was the infamous Ti-Di which prevents the big number of jumps/logins into a single system. And then we observe the stupid "Cormorant Online" small-scale battles instead of massive fights with capital fleets. Currently you need only about 1000 windows to be logged in your system to start Ti-Di and make it impossible to capture, literally. I'm talking about 1DQ. The M2 is another story where no one mention the cowardly tethered goon Titans that didn't want to give a fight for hours.... No glory there. And no one won that war. Wrong tactical decisions and failed final siege by PAPI, the node limitation that helps Imperium to hold their remaining single system. It's a crap, not the victory.

Papi or whoever could be out there haunting for years if he wants, only the game being all blue has no content, as you said, no battles but a herd of cormorants. The server was already down, clearly CCP intervened there to create content, if not now it would be there without content ........ A bitter taste of the game and its limitations, hopefully in the future CCP improves all that and I don't know I got to that situation where the whole game depends on it ........

Last I heard they basically dissolved after the player owed trade hub the ran got fucked by a tax change imposed by CCP destroying their ability to fund the war.

I for one do not want any of this.

The removal of the Incarna features infuriated me, and Dust 514 before it, propelling me to summarily 'quit being a capsuleer' for a time. Wasn't until recently, after the help of passing time, that I decided it was trivial and fundamentally EVE is still what it was when I first graduated from the State War Academy nearly 15 years ago. Regardless, I still preferred the direction that expansion and concept was taking the game (e.g, EVE Legion) and am still somewhat sad that that will likely never come to pass (unless something on the caliber of Elite Dangerous attempts to compete with EVE Online's capabilities and history). -_-

I do miss being able to walk around in the station. Not sure why they give us rewards like caps and t-shirts when we never really see them. More immersion is good.
