How did this flop but Among Us and Fortnite are total hits? Im convinced the world as a whole are operating on a double digit IQ.

Looking back t this trailer now, while gameplay and balance has been added in to a much larger degree than in beta, beta's animations simply looked better then the current game.

WHERE ARE THE DRONES!? And what happened to the awesome effects of the plasma weapons? That shotgun blast is AWESOME!

why haven't they remade this for ps4 and xbox1? i would love to help influence new eden in this!

Somebody needs to talk to CCP and get them to make a sifi movie bast on the EVE and DUST world, guys it would work. You would not have to try and interpret the hole of the DUST universe or the EVE just take a good part of it, and convert to cine. Guys it would work. Hay if some one can tern a child's toy (TRANSFORMERS) in to a film franchise, why not a computer game ! HAY I CAN SEE ANOTHER FRANCHISE HERE !.

I had a great time playing this game. I still don't know how some of the other players developed their high level tanks and flyers but it was such a fun and dynamic game.

i know the feeling all too well. i found about this game after i did it. though i still play it with a friend ,right now i have to save a crap load of money again in order to get another one.

I'm happy I got into Beta for this game, since I got my PS3 Uncharted Bundle, Which had Dust Beta for download in the OS Store :D

Occasionally I pirate with friends. You're right on that, most intense feeling ever. I love it. I also agree on the logistical factors. I'm not saying EVE is bad or anything, I love the game to death. Mining also fits me well, I'm a student, so while I work on homework, I mine :) But it's nice to see some fast paced combat come to EVE.

Played the beta and loved it, when you play it make sure you have a good internet connection to get the best experience. Its pretty cool how eve players can help dust players and vise verser.

Got a PC and Ps3. Played Planetside 2: loved it but it's still not finished. Now I'm willing to try this as well. Somehow they seem vaguely alike in some perspectives.

would also be interesting to see if they'll implement a feature concerning orbital bombardment that can adjust the density/intensity of the target location, say less focus = more area of effect but significantly less damage which is good against soldiers, whereas more focus increases total damage and penetration but significantly decreases aoe which is better against fortified positions and a cluster of tanks, might just post this up in the forums :D

It's fun for me, it doesn't crash my PS3 and I've had it since 2 days after it opened to BETA, you probably only have the beginner weapons Isaac Newton, you have to go to the store to get new ones. It's not impossible to win, it just takes team work. So what if you can't respec your controls, the controls are simple and similar to most PS3 shooters controls. The game is around 3 gigabytes, hardly that much space taken up, this video helped me get started, and there's 3 modes and they're fun.

I play already. I'm a boring Miner/Industry dude. I mostly transport stuff for contracts. I don't do a lot of combat in the EVE side, thus is why I'm excited for Dust 514. Not the same style of combat, but I know I'll be fighting for some corp.

You would build it up from scratch or modify parts on a gaming focused distributor, always shop around and make sure your parts are compatible if you build it from scratch.

It's actually in beta mode right now on the ps3. Even thought its a closed beta , you can get access to it if you purchase the Dust 514 Mercenary pack for 20 which includes 40,000 aura points, 4 permanent militia suits, some militia weapons and 40 fused grenades which are pretty badass. you can buy it in the dust fan lobby in playstation home, but if you do buy this be sure to join a corp before you play it makes it way funner.

The video said something about "Clearing out Drone infestations". Does this mean DUST 514 will have some kind of PVE element? Or is it something else?

How about you warp in only after the mercs neutralise the orbital defense and give the all-clear signal?

DUST 514 is a solid class based shooter. I have played it for a while and I still haven't figured out whether it is actually worth to spend real money on some of the guns or equipment available on the market. I'm doing well with the default weapon set-up the game gave me and the only thing I purchase in this game so far are skill books that caters to my build, and upgrades for them (each can be bought with in-game money).

Dust goes a bit deeper than a non stop game a domination.

I'm kind of confused to what this game is. So it's an adversarial fps with counterstrike-like mechanics where if you die you have to re-buy gear. Is this an extension of EVE where the "fights" for planets in that game lead to the multiplayer matches here or a separate game where there are set maps which the ships can orbit for the artillery? And are the alliances EVE alliances or specific to DUST and do they form the opposing sides (e.g. cod4 SAS v. Spetsnaz)?

would be nice if they told us some of the details and devblogs of dust, im really interested with the mechanics of orbital bombardments and currency transfers between eve online accounts and dust514 accounts, would be interesting to know if each weapon based on ship class determined the area of effect in the dust battlefield and the total damage output per insertion, + mechanics for objects fired such as air targets and fortified positions and penetration against those positions

SO the way this would work with Eve (Not closely following DUST so may be off). Ships warp to District above planet where Dust bunnies are fighting to provide support. Then they get in a space battle with the OTHER Dust Bunnies' support fleet? (Just thinking about how this would affect me in Eve.

Unfortunately, currently, it doesn't support key configuration yet, I'd also like that for my PS3 controller. The R2 weapon swap is pretty difficult to get used to.

dust mercs can join eve corp -> corp buys plex -> trades for AUR -> buys gear -> gives to merc. That is if you are right and the dust market is not part of the eve market, which i doubt, since the dust gear is on my market screen right now.

You seemed to imply that Dust 514 would come out for PC as well.

A 1st person shooter that directly connects and plays with a MMO on another platform. Each game also directly affects each other in drastic ways. Yes, it is very original.

How do I communicate with starship pilots?
