Today we crown The Fittest on Earth. Tune in to the final day of the 2020 CrossFit Games. The CrossFit Games -- (games.crossfit.com) The CrossFit Games® - The Sport of Fitness™ The Fittest On Earth™
As an Aussie obviously rooting on Tia, she is a freak; but wow Haley Adams is some raw talent. So exciting to watch. Really wish Kara Saunders has qualified as she just has a way of pushing Tia in certain events.

@@amywjn Since mainstream networks, liberal cable channels and social media won’t discuss it, we have to make other arrangements to find out what’s going on.
@@zaq55 Yes, we have to work harder for ourselves to find unbiased information. Unfortunately it takes quite a bit of work. Stay strong & parents educate our children on the real American history with all its freedom, potential & promise, ugliness, & beauty, and what will cause its demise. They are the future of our nation.
I was taught that to perform the slam ball, you opened the hips and extended vertically with arms high and violently throw it down and basically shadow the ball as it falls to scoop it back up. Maybe they "softened" the standard and allowed that touch & go style since it's a 60# ball.
I don’t think it matters as long as you have it on the top. There’s no way to judge the downforce you use to slam the ball.. and Fraser didn’t want it to slip
Yeah, not sure what happened there... maybe she was trying to call GHD finished? It was definitely a bit of a fuck up either way, you can see Mat hesitating for a split second, wanting to get back on the GHD for another rep when she tells him to go on to the slam ball.
I think it’s because you have to touch the foot part after each rep, and Mat did, but he was already removing his feet while doing it. Later at the end of the round you can actually see her warning him.
Lmao. He really does only 9 situps at the ghd and Matt kinda gets off the 9th rep before finishing it to get off the machine and the ref calls no rep and then after the hesitation tells to continue. Fucked up. Maybe Kwant could've get more seconds over him
Yeah, Matt held onto the ball but what about the athletes that just dropped it from the top? That's not a slam either. And how is it that Matt had to run around a huge tree to the finish? This one was kind of a mess.
We can discuss the force of the drop, but all the athletes (except Matt) did it. If you not drop the ball, u can control it easily, so we can call an advantage
@@efrenrapero It's also more time under tension. It may be faster to hold on to the ball due to better control but it will also be more exhausting than dropping it from the top.
I love Fraser but you cannot count a “ball slam” without the “slam” 🤔 That is the only issue I see with the Crosffit games rules are not clear therefore the jutges cannot be strict
Then I have to blame Castro for not enforcing them properly. I do not see lot of consistency as for example Fraser not locking the lounges or Medeiro cutting a corner on the run. Not hating on the athletes but if you want to be a top tier sport you have to have clear and properly enforced rules
@@avila5506 I agree, I was baffled by the shortcut Justin took on the run. What about haley adams and the unofficial time on round 2 of this event? Big fuck up there
I just feel that Crossfit is growing so fast and I do not feel that Castro is up to the job to manage it or at least not by himself, this games are going to introduce the sport to so many people and if you read the comments new people do not understand what is going on as everyone seems to be taken a different take Anyway given circustances they are pretty decent games 👍
Those complaining there was cheating by not dropping the ball need to review the athlete standards and also try both. It is actually much harder to hang onto the ball all the way down. Taxes the core and hamstrings significantly more.
How can *YOU* be saved and have *ETERNAL LIFE?* 1) *YOU* have *SINNED* (Romans 3:23) 2) The wages of *YOUR* sin is separation from God and eternal death, in the *BURNING FIRES OF HELL FOREVER* (Romans 6:23) 3) To avoid this fate and go to heaven, *YOU* must be *PERFECT* because God is *PERFECT* (Revelation 21:27) 4) *YOU* will never be perfect because *YOU* have sinned, so *YOU* need a *SAVIOUR* since *YOU* cannot earn heaven by *YOUR* works (Ephesians 2:8-9) 5) Jesus Christ *IS* God; who came in the flesh, lived a *PERFECT* life and died as a *SUBSTITUTE* for *YOU,* so *YOU* don't have to pay the penalty for *YOUR* sins (2 Corinthians 5:21) 6) All God demands is that *YOU BELIEVE* in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ; that *HIS BLOOD* washes away *ALL* of *YOUR* sins and makes *YOU PERFECT* (John 3:16, John 6:47, Romans 10:9-10, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) 7) Now *YOU* cannot go to hell because *YOU* have *NO* sins to pay for. Girls should practice their dive into the pool. If they could get those feet together and be underwater longer, would be a big advantage. As for Tia, she is a rocket in the water. She is no Olympic swimmer, but wow she flies.
I use heavier and lighter slam balls than that and I can 100% agree. Those were ball drops at BEST. You can see a real flex in grip, back, shoulders and chest when you actually slam the ball. These were the saddest slam balls. Genuinely the biggest cop out effort I've seen at the CrossFit games 2020. I hope they don't program them again because these were just sad. The rest of the events have been awesome and they're all incredible athletes.
@@leticiamontoya227 at their fitness level they should be able to. If not, Dave either should have used lighter balls or called it something else. I think Tia actually used a different name for it that I've heard before but I can't remember it right now.
Whatsup with that medball slams that Matt did, Matt was just touching the medball to the ground, if his technique is “allowed”, the association could have just replaced the med ball with a dumbbell or barbell weights.
@@michaelb4824 that's what i was thinking. But then some women did it too🤔 how did the judges let this slip? and the commentators even called it a good method to do the exercise🙄
Good commentary and presentation as normal, be nice to see the split times for the swims? Also how come we didn't see any of the footage from the guy in the pool? or was that someone just having a good time down there?
These events are ridiculous. These are events made for a much larger group of people. Should have just stuck with doing more of an crossfit open workout style format.
Wow, Fraser loses his 2nd event... he is human, after all... but still, when you look at all of these guy's physiques, some of the other guys should have completely crushed Fraser in the pool, but they did not! Fraser continues to prove that a "box body type" can do it. PS: when I say "loses," I mean he didn't "win" another event, two so far.
USA USA USA ** Haley Adams ** USA USA USA 👍💖 PS: I attended the Summer Olympic Games, when it was held in Sydney Australia... wow, what a wonderful experience that was. Sydney is beautiful and the Australia people are so kind! I am happy for Tia. 👍
Seriously, the announcers really have to be told to tune it down, I have to turn the sound down to be able to focus on what's happening without every single second being filled with their observations.
I kind of like not having crowd noise so you can hear how hard the athletes are working. But I'm amazed how quickly they recover. After that trail run, some of them still seemed somewhat fresh. . I like Crossfit and all. When they were hosted locally in Carson, I went to all of them from 2011. But I hardly think this is going to make "sports history" as Grundler was hyping. I doubt it will be in any sports history book. Fans will remember it but it's not exactly like winning the World Series, Super Bowl, NBA Championship, Stanley Cup, New York or Boston Marathons, of an Olympic Medal. Even a few non-fans of those sports might remember who won those. Also, I have yet to see The Games even mentioned on local news.
YES! I was telling my husband the guy much be uncomfortable with silence because ALL HE DOES IS TALK. I had the volume on low most of the time. I much preferred the Rogue Invitational guys for that competition.
We don't need such clear users or PEDs in 'amateur' sports. Crossfit isn't a sport, it's an advertisement like redbull. Sure redbull has crashed ice, but that's not hockey

A mind that disciplines itself is conforming to a pattern, restricting its own activity in order to be or become something. The whole of consciousness, the whole of what we call thought is conflict- thought as the symbol, thought which is the response of memory.
I'm pretty sure these guys know how to do that, Noah Ohlsen for instance was a competitive swimmer and water polo player for most of his life. I assume it's probably because their legs are shot from the bike and the ball slams that they don't really have the power to get a really aggressive dive. As far as streamline goes, they are most likely half decent, you also need to take into account their bodies are shaped differently than a swimmer's body would be. (Oh, I forgot, Tia-Clair Toomey has also swum competitively for a while.)
@@Garrett2101 I'm consistently ranked top 10 in the world for my age group (masters swimming) across multiple events and top 3 in the 1500m Free. Represented Canada at world cup events in the late 90s. Hardly a couch athlete 🤦♂️🏊♂️. I gave a suggestion on how to go faster with the same effort.
@@Hoehihoh polo players are not known for having good technical skills (starts & turns). Tia definitely did a far better job at the little things than any of the men.
@@realalbertan You didn’t make a suggestion. You acted like a smartass. Again, maybe if you stop critiquing others and go work on yourself, you can make that consistent top 10 a consistent top 5.
