HELLO! IT'S ME BEATLES MAN GUY! If you have any questions, leave them as a reply here. I might do a Q&A video in the future if there are enough good or funny questions. They can be pretty much anything. They could be about my videos, about my personality, or anything completely random, outlandish, or funny. Go ahead. I'm curious/holding your favorite Lego Minifigure for ransom.
Yeah, while it's a compilation, I was born way after the beatles so that doesn't matter to me, if I'm popping on an album, there's a good chance I'm putting that one on.
Ringo enters with his gargantuan nose and ears: "What?" You two: "Um, nothing" Ringo: "It sounded like you said I was your favorite!" You two: "Uh, no we didn't."
I am the Walrus, Hello Goodbye, Fool on the Hill, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, All You Need is Love. . . I realize that the latter three weren't part of the 'movie' (TV special) but we're talking the album here and as a collection of songs, it's a collection of pretty good songs.
very! (it's my #5, at the moment anyway) - I think it kind of got underrated originally because it followed up Sgt Pepper and because it included previously released singles so it didn't feel as fresh (or as much like a real complete album... heck it wasn't even released as an LP originally in the UK.) but now... just listening to it as it exists and not worrying about the fact that "Penny Lane" and "Strawberry Fields Forever" were released on a single like a year before, it's really quite delicious.
Honestly it’s hard af to say that some of their even mediocre albums are “bad.” Being a Beatles fan since I was 10, and my bias self, will say that it will be damn near impossible to rank albums, and even songs for that matter.
Actually, The Beach Boys were inspired by Rubber Soul not Revolver. Second, Pet Sounds was release in May 1966. Revolver was released in August 5th, 1966.
@@retronostalgiafan8635 Dude, you're fine. I was wierdly some what flattered by your interest of my voice. I also like that this string of comments has turned into a one on one conversation.😂
@@reigenlucilfer6154 Oh sorry thought i was on a french comment. I said Pink floyd used to be my fav band but as time goes by I almost never listen to them anymore. Unlike Led Zeppelin which took me longer to enjoy but that I listen way more now.
My opinions have changed since and I ranked that one a lot higher now. One of the really big videos I'm working on right now is gonna explain that one.
It's because Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane were already released as singles before Sgt. Peppers was released. All You Need is Love was already out too.
The Beatles thought Ringo was great. He was already popular among the musical groups in Liverpool and Hamburg before he was in the Beatles. They scored him.
Beatles For Sale it’s not a bad album, but it would have been much better if Mr. Moonlight would been at least like BBC version, and they would have put songs that they played on Live at the BBC instead songs like Words of Love, I’ll Follow the Sun. I personally, rank the album 8.5/10
My top 5 5 - Rubber Soul, great album , I liken this as The Beatles’ Beggars Banquet, in the sense that both albums were acoustic driven and were the first step into the band’s creative peak, The Beatles also became more varied in the lyrics they weren’t just singing about holding hands no more. 4 - Abbey Road, Great synth work present, holds two Beatles classics ‘Come Together’ and ‘Here Comes The Sun’ has an iconic album cover and also Octopus’s Garden what more could you want! 3 - Sgt. Pepper’s, This isn’t just an album, it’s an experience. The use of orchestral instruments makes this album a sceptical, it’s like you’re witnessing a grand play. This is the Beatles’ masterpiece, each song is a staple on popular music in terms of influence. 2 - Revolver, I think what this album does so well is it captures artistic experimental sides of Peppers while at the same time still appealing to the masses with single bait songs like ‘Here, There and Everywhere’ and ‘For No One’ being notable exceptions. Revolver isn’t just an mesh of experimental sounds it also exceeds in great cohesion songwriting, instrumentation and is just an all around fantastic pop album. 1 - The White Album, this to me is The Beatles at their most primal artistic stage. They were pouring their absolute creative vision and soul into this album, some worked some not so much, but even then it doesn’t take away from the utter brilliance of this album, a full fledged rollercoaster ride from start to finish, Very stripped back in terms of instrumentation with The Beatles dropping their orchestra in favour of their own guitars bass drums etc. This album is a grand opus culminating in a homage to their musical icons their ‘roots’ and to the entire catalogue of their now legendary legacy.
My favorite Beatles album is The White Album even with the roughly 8 minute Revolution #9 turd. The rest of the album is so magical and I especially love Dear Prudence.
It sticks out very abruptly being the only sound collage, but I enjoy it on an album that’s always chaotically switching styles. It’s weirdly the most psychedelic song they’ve released and coming right before the very saccharine goodnight feels like a good contrast. I find some of the more tongue and cheek folk songs more egregious. I can’t get behind Bungalow Bill or Dont Pass Me By as much.
I go back and forth on The White Album being my number 1. and I actually quite like Revolution #9 , not going to say I listen to it every time I put the album on, but it's quite an experience when I'm in the mood for it.
Rubber Soul: Uses footage from Paperback Writer music video (Song was recorded during the Revolver sessions) Revolver: Background music is instrumental of Norwegian Wood (Song from Rubber Soul) Wait a stark-raving second...
I must say with all honesty that "Le it Be" is one of my favourites, specially the "naked version" or how it is called. The vocals for me are unique, powerful and incredibly lyrical. I would place it in 3rd or 4th for sure, but I agree with number 1 and that made me happy enough :D
Here's my goof opinion... 1. White Album 2. Revolver 3. A Hard Days Night 4. Abbey Road 5. Sgt. Pepper 6. Rubber Soul 7. Let it Be 8. Magical Mystery Tour 9. With the Beatles 10. Help 11. Please, Please Me 12. Yellow Submarine 13. Beatles for Sale
good ranking! mine would be: 1. revolver 2. abbey road 3. magical mystery tour 4. sgt peppers 5. a hard days night 6. help! 7. rubber soul 8. the white album 9. let it be 10. please please me 11. with the beatles 12. beatles for sale 13. yellow submarine
1- Revolver 2- Sgt Pepper’s 3- Rubber Soul 4- Abbey Road 5- Magical Mystery Tour 6- White Album 7- Let It Be 8- Help! 9- A Hard Day’s Night 10- Please Please Me 11- Beatles For Sale 12- With The Beatles 13- Yellow Submarine
I think I'll make a video on just Magical Mystery Tour at some point in the future. It was actually my original favorite album when I was first exploring The Beatles.
Sgt. Pepper has been getting some hate for seemingly no other reason than it's popularity. Really sad how people only hate on it for that aspect and don't consider the art itself. Im glad you ranked it so high. Abbey Road is a worthy successor in my mind
This is great! I started liking the Beatles since someone recommended me to do one of their songs on my channel (I do piano tutorials) and since then I have really liked them! I wanted to buy a vinyl record for one of their albums, so searched up this. More people need to find your videos!
As a Beatle hater, I found more interesting Rubber Soul than Revolver, the perfect balance of rock n' ballads. I always liked the that song from Abbey Road "Come Together"
@@cremetangerine82 that's a pretty good question! I feel like I despise them more personally than musically, the better fellow to me was George Harrison spite many people argue that Ringo was the nicest, well yeah but I can't stand a drummer who doesn't like to perform solos in studio and live. Lennon was always too snobish to me or at least he's pretentious. McCartney was too bossy in studio or at least in the final stage of the band. Musically, they were good but not great. To say nothing can pair the Liverpool band seems really abdurd 'cause that fallacy doesn't allow any author to bring something to the table!!!
Interestingly your Top Three picking is exactly the same as mine. What an beautiful ending of Abbey Road is! And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you've made.
Hey Man U definitely have a lot of potential especially for a small channel like the editing was amazing and higher quality then other channels with more money and subscribers, Man Ur going to be something one day. Ps magical mystery tour is underrated but do agree with your number one choice 1. Abbey Road 2. Revolver 3. The White Album 4. Magical Mystery Tour 5. Let it be 6. Sgts pepper lonely hearts club band 7. Rubber Soul 8. Help 9. A hard days night 10. Please please me 11. With the Beatles 12. Beatles for sale 13. Yellow submarine
Thanks! I appreciate the support. I actually like Magical Mystery Tour a lot more than I ranked it (it's my original favorite album) but I put it lower on the list due to the second half being recycled, previously unreleased singles (but very good singles, I should add). I actually recorded voicelones explaining this, but I ran out of editing time so I stuck in the "Arup-vrulup" joke.
The Waterloo Watermelon hey man just wondering what’s your favourite Beatles song and least favourite? And ye I do agree with your point on side b, but side a is still quite strong. And thanks for the response man
@@alexchadwick_001 Favorite song is really tough, but I think I'll go for "Lovely Rita." It has a really fun flow. As for least favorite, probably either "Blue Jay Way" or "Only a Northern Song." Each of those songs has sections I still like, but I dont consider them as fleshed out as the rest of The Beatles catalog. What about you?
The Waterloo Watermelon hmm that’s a tuff one, my favourite it’s probably free as a bird, but if we’re talking about all four members, all you need is love and my least favourite is probably baby your man or good morning good morning. Ps do u play any instruments just wondering?
@@alexchadwick_001 I can definitely agree with you that "Good Morning, Good Morning" isn't the best (the chorus just doesn't do it for me). "Baby You're a Rich Man," however, has always held a special place for me, just cause it was one of the first Beatles songs I discovered. As for instruments, I play guitar, bass, and I use the electronic instruments in GarageBand.
My ranking is basically completely different 13: with the beatles 12: a hard days night 11: beatles for sale 10: yellow submarine 9: help! 8: rubber soul 7: please please me 6: revolver 5: the beatles 4: abbey road 3: let it be 2: sgt peppers lonley hearts club band 1: magical mystery tour
@@TheWaterlooWatermelon haha, I mean yeah, there's lot of cover on that album, but that's a start of The Beatles, and I think it's still an enjoyable album.
It is absolutely massively underrated because the breath of their catalogue. I mean this in the best way: It is the greatest Boy Band Album of all time sharing the spot with With The Beatles.
13. Yellow Submarine 12. Beatles for sale 11. Let it be 10. Sgt pepper 9. White Album 8. Please Please me 7. With the Beatles 6. Magical Mystery Tour 5. Abbey Road 4. Revolver 3. Rubber soul 2. Help! 1. A hard days Night
My Ranking (please don’t kill me) ------------------- 01. Rubber Soul 02. Revolver 03. Abbey Road 04. A Hard Day’s Night 05. The Beatles (White Album) 06. Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band 07. Magical Mystery Tour 08. Help! 09. Let It Be 10. Please Please Me 11. With The Beatles 12. Beatles For Sale 13. Yellow Submarine
0:50 Man what are you talking about. It's all too much is my favorite Beatles song. The fact that the songs have already appeared on other albums is not a problem, they are so good that I can listen to them again
Alright, guys. I'm gonna make a new albums ranked video for the one-year anniversary of this one. Leave a reply on this comment on what artist or band you wanna see.
I watched the full video and I was like wow, this is good! Then you said you have a small community and I was like 50k is small... Then I found out that it meant 100 subs. And I was like... WTF BRO?!? Why does he not have 100k subs??? Any way... You deserve more subs (If you upload consistently...). To show you my support I subbed to your channel. Hope to see more of you content in the coming future!
I don’t understand how magical mystery tour and let it be are so low on the list, they are really great albums with some of the most iconic Beatles songs, I do agree on yellow submarine though
My Rankings 01. Magical Mystery Tour 02. A Hard Day’s Night 03. Let It Be 04. Abbey Road 05. Rubber Soul 06. Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band 07. Help! 08. Revolver 09. Please Please Me 10. The Beatles (White Album) 11 Beatles For Sale 12. With The Beatles 13. Yellow Submarine Also, great video. Am now subscribed
I dont really agree with your whole list I just love that you put Magical Mystery Tour on 01., I know it's not underrated in the classical sense but still it's underrated by most of the beatles fans
Magical mystery tour is criminally underrated. Personally it’s a mid tier album (I personally prefer Rubber Soul, Sgnt Peppers, Abbey Road and Revolver) but it deserves more recognition
@@fivestarman5130 I think Rubber Soul is a bit overrated tbh In my life is pbviously a masterpiece and norweigan wood and girl are both amazing but as a whole album I still think it's overrated
13. Yellow Submarine 12. A Hard Day's Night 11. With The Beatles 10. Magical Mystery Tour 9. Beatles For Sale 8. Please Please Me 7. Let It Be 6. Rubber Soul 5. Sgt. Peppers 4. Help! 3. Revolver 2. Abbey Road 1. The White Album
Beatles For Sale did have Words Of Love on it. Great cover of the Buddy Holly song. The fab four played it the best in my opinion, not to take anything away from Buddy. Plus there were some other covers of other iconic American rock songs from the 50s. The Beatles were heavily influenced by pioneers like Buddy, Little Richard, Carl Perkins and Chuck Berry, so the album does get brownie points from me for that.
As someone who lived through the era, I can assure you that when the Beatles first came to America, Ringo was by far the most popular. This is actually reflected in the movie A Hard Day’s Night. Fan mail is brought in to each beetle and John Paul and George each got a small bundleand Ringo initially got zero, but then the guy returns with bags and bags of mail for Ringo. The girls, especially loved Ringo.
My ranking 1 Revolver 2 Rubber Soul 3 Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band 4 The White Album 5 Abbey Road 6 Magical Mystery Tour 7 Help 8 A Hard Days Night 9 Let It Be 10 With The Beatles 11 Please Please Me 12 Beatles For Sale 13 Yellow Submarine
Dude. I found your video quite entertaining. I love the Beatles and was curious of your “biased” ranking, but quickly found I was highly amused and entertained by your commentary and towards the end of the video I found I was more entertained by your edits and funnies that I found it more interesting than the subject matter. Please keep doing similar things like this. I think you could be huge some day in the near future! 🙌🏻🤘🏻
As a Beatle hater, I preffer their actual rock phacet than their experimental stuff so I preffer Rubber Soul over Revolver. Maybe I could like Abbey Road!!!
