I'd say it's worse because Mandarich was looked at as a can't miss guy. Love was looked at as a borderline 1st rounder at best, and GB still had the Drama Queen. Atleast to me, taking someone way to high, or taking someone who plays the same position as a top tier player you have is way worse than selecting a player who everyone thought would be great but ended up being a bust. Taking Love like GB did is worse than the Leaf or JaMarcus picks imo since the teams there made the smart, atleast at the time, pick but the player failed to deliver.
I think you need to change the Bucs selection for this list. I think the whole Sean Farrell/Booker Reese fiasco, where they drafted the wrong player due to shitty phone reception, was more embarrassing than drafting a QB bust, which happens all too often.
The Bucs selection on this list should be taking Bo Jackson #1 overall even after he told them he would never play for them. Bo played Baseball instead and then became a two sport star when he was drafted by the Raiders the following year.
How is Jordan Love a worse pick than Tony Mandarich in 1989? Tony Mandarich was drafted ahead of three Hall of Famers: Barry Sanders, Deion Sanders and Derrick Thomas. It's too early to say whether Jordan Love will be successful or not. It's not unusual to draft a quarterback when your starting QB is getting up there in age. There is no way Jordan Love was a worse pick than Tony Mandarich.
The Bills did turn Tom Cousineau into a 1983 first round draft pick via a trade with the Cleveland Browns. That pick was #14 overall...which the Bills used to draft Jim Kelly. In a roundabout way everything worked out for the Bills.
I can't believe that the Falcons tried to draft John Wayne. Maybe a team can try to draft Will Smith this week. He'll have to improve his power in dishing out hits though.
Brady is no way a goat lol. Dudes just always on a stacked team with the best coaching staff possible. Brady is an amazing QB but any QB would do what he did in that situation. Been proven many times when he’s been hurt and the backups go 11-5 or something lol

Also, the Browns one is completely misrepresented. The Browns didn't try to draft Cameron Jordan when he was already off the board and then decide to take a TE with a similar name just because; they were always meaning to pick Jordan Cameron, they just got confused by the similarity when they were looking for Jordan Cameron's phone number and called Cameron Jordan's number instead. (Miami made a variation on the same mistake when they got him as a free agent, FWIW.) And given that it's the BROWNS -- a.k.a. the team that traded up for Brady Quinn, traded up for Johnny Manziel, used a first-round pick on a 28-year-old QB who wasn't even that good, and that's barely scratching the surface -- a wrong number doesn't even come close to being their worst draft day moment.

I STILL say the worst Draft moment for the Panthers was 2010, when they drafted NOBODY in the first round, drafted Jimmy Clausen in the 2nd, and then afterwards, cut Jake Delhomme. The Result? 1) The Panthers started the regular season with only TWO qbs (as opposed to the standard three!) 2)Matt Moore started the season, but was injured TWICE in the season, so they had to go to Clausen. 3) With Moore sidlined with an injury (and no Delhomme to back them up!), they had to use Clausen the rest of the season. 4) Had to consider putting in Mike Minter as a potential QB option, even though he was a SAFETY. 5) The Panthers finished 2-14, the SECOND worse in franchise history.

No for GB it should definitely be taking Kevin King over TJ Watt. King gave up the bomb to Scotty Miller vs TB not to mention TJ Watt has been DPOY, and King is out the NFL.

Yea the team was terrible at drafting in the 90's and would have wasted them all, but it's just stupid not to take that offer. I can't agree with the Packers one. I know it's the pick everyone loves to hate, but I feel like we still just don't quite know how that one's going to work out, and as far as the decision itself, I can't really fault the Packers too harshly for thinking Rodgers might be past his prime given what he looked like in the late 2010s; it's not like they knew he was going to suddenly catch fire and have back-to-back MVP seasons going forward. I would've gone with trading down for Kevin King when they could've taken TJ Watt; we already know exactly how that one played out, and it wasn't pretty for the Packers.

After losing to NE for 6 straight seasons, it was Brady's first game back off of his knee injury (where he missed the whole season) and Bills had an 11 point lead late in the 4th quarter. By the end of the game the Bills had lost 25-24.

Bortles draft stock did not make sense. They guys team takes them to a big bowl game vs baylor, the guy plays horrible but throws to a wide open receiver who runs down to the endzone to win the game. And because of Bortles below average game that ucf won, the guys draft stock shot up.

I’m not sure how you can say Love was a bad draft trade. If people remember Aaron sat behind Favre for 3 years before getting the starting position. Nobody has any idea what’ll happen to Love or what he will be like as a starter.
But Rodgers was not a reach, Rodgers was a guy who was debated between Alex Smith to go first pick overall. Its just the guy who got picked second out of those 2 would drop a bit, and Packers had a top 5 pick drop to them in the 20s. Jordan was not even a first round draft stock.
Miami has had a TON of bad picks. Dion Jordan rightfully #1 worst, a bunch of qbs, also Ted Ginn jr Ted Ginn jr story I know is he was told he’d be fined if he ran out of bounds, he didn’t like getting hit. He then ran 2 kick returns for tds against the horrible jets and that’s about all he ever did for Miami
