The MCU has been a force to be reckoned with since Marvel launched their own cinematic universe in 2008 with the release of "Iron Man" starring Robert Downey Jr. It has grown from semi-connected films to a massive web of films, television series and streaming miniseries.
But what about all the Marvel movies that aren't part of the MCU? There are lots of movies based on all kinds of heroes that came before the founding of Marvel Studios. From the '80s to today, from the best action thrillers to the worst direct-to-DVD flops, here's every non-MCU Marvel movie, ranked worst to best.

Everyone who says DoaFP is good should read a f ing Comic Book! BY FAR the worst adaptation of ALL TIME! Only people call themselves Marvel Fans because they watched Movies like this. If you didn`t read the Comics, you are still just a casual! Logan overrated, too! No way is Punisher better than Punisher Warzone Daredevil and all X Men Movies and Spider-Man 1+3 are ranked WAY too high! The best non MCU Movies Top 5 are 1-Deadpool 2-Amazing Spider-Man 3-Punisher Warzone 4-Ghost Rider 5-Spider-Man 2 The worst non MCU Movies Top 5 are 1-X Men DoaFP 2-X-Men Dark Phönix 3-X Men Apocalypse 4-Spider-Man 1 ( I was already a Marvel Fan since 20 years when this Movie came out and it made me leave the cinema after around 50 minutes...so much Bullshit, bad effects and BAD, BAD acting, exspecially from Maguire and Dunst! Kirsten Dunst as MJ Watson= biggest miscast in Hollywoood History!) 5-Spider-Man 3 The most overated Non MCU Movies Top 5 1-DoaFP 2-Logan 3-Spider-Man (all parts, there were 3 good things on it, the 3 things they brought to MCU...Doc Ock, Norman Osborn and JJJ) 4-Blade (all parts) 5-The Wolverine! Just to make clear what the Dimensions are, that we are talking about! The maker of the absolutely horrible Fox Men wannabe X Men Franchise, Bryan Singer said followings entence in an Interview about DoafP " We needed Blink and Bishop in there, they played an important Role in the Original Storyline!" X-Men-Days of a Future Past was the single title that saved the X Men Franchise from dead in 1981 (!!!) Bishop debuted in 1991 Blink Debuted in 1994 and that is how this Man does ANYTHING related to these Movies! This are no X Men Movies, this are movies about anything with the X Men Name on it ... Like Fred Savage said in Deadppol 2 Christmas Edition Marvel produced by Fox is like Beatles produced by Nickelback... It`s art but it sucks! Or something like that...

Tobey Maguire, Hugh Jackman, and Ryan Reynolds movies always carry the day. Again if it is Directed by Sam Raimi be sure the movie is worth watching

No. 35, of course it also didn't help when Sony used the Ending Spell Scene in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" to bring Michael Keaton's Vulture into that universe instead of the other way around just to bad sequel bait a Sinister Six setup which will just remind you of what they were setting up with "Amazing Spider-Man 2" or that they made Kraven the Hunter an animal lover instead of Kraven from the comics or making an El Muerto movie. Seriously Sony needs to forget about this Sony's "Spider-Man" Universe and just focus on their animated Spider-Verse movies and Tom Holland Spider-Man movies they make with Marvel Studios if they wanna keep their rights to the web-slinging character

Technically Spider-Man 1-3 The Amazing Spider-Man 1-2 Venom 1-2 are apart of the MCU after Spider-Man No Way Home We can say the same thing for the Deadpool movies since the 3rd movie will be in MCU and they not rebooting the character plus he breaks the fourth wall

Punisher: War Zone would've been served better had Dolph Lundgren played Frank Castle in that one. Plus, the makeup job on Dominic West could've looked more realistic. Otherwise, it's actually my favorite of the 3 films by a hair over Dolph's version. My main complaint about 89 is that Frank isn't ex-military in it (I don't mind the ex cop part). And it's a car bomb that kills his family, not a shootout. As for Deadpool, anything less than #1 is too low on this ilist.

Unpopular opinion I like all of the pre MCU early 2000 marvel movies I think the spirit of vengeance was better than the first Ghost Rider even though I love the first Ghost Rider New mutants was actually pretty good and it's sad we're not going to be able to see where Fox may have been headed with the whole sinister references

There are so many problems with the list. All X-Men and Venom/Morbius films are canon to the MCU. (Thanks to Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man: No Way Home) Meaning it shouldn't be on the list. Besides that, you put the Fantastic 4 (2015) over Venom? Like seriously? You put Spider-Man 3 (Even though I can agree it's not as bad as people make it out to be) over Blade or Ghost Rider? So many problems!

Some of the movies I liked a lot. When you seen b/w and TV super hero as a kid., you appreciate some of the moves that had been made. OK Howard the duck, the was the worst.. with captain America, Dr strange, the 1st punisher, coming close. Most of films start of good , it's the ending, the story or the characters that are or can be Disappointing . Mostly I liked most of the films mentioned . Even seen the 1st FF film. Cheap but interesting movie. 😊

Elektra wasn't horrible. Howard the Duck was hilarious. I thought the best Punisher was the one from 1989. He played it really well, and he felt much like the character in the comics - which we read at the time. Of course, some of that may be nostalgia and the fact it was the 80's. I thought Blade: Trinity was funny. I thought it was a side movie, not really the third one. You know, like Rogue One with Star Wars. Until the end of time, Lou Ferrigno is the only Hulk that is allowed to exist. When he died after falling from the helicopter, he died. End of story. Blade and Blade 2 were awesome. Especially the extra freaky vampires.

Doctor Mordrid deserves to be on this list. It is and was the first Doctor Strange movie that due to legal bs had to change it's name last minute. It is entirely a very adult Doctor Strange movie, in the same way that Krull was the first and real Dungeons and Dragons movie except in name.
