Thanks for you kind words guys! Just to give some backround, I was listening to this song when I first went to Thailand in 2014 to teach English which was an incredible and wonderful time so I have all the more good associations with this song! I wish you guys the best!
@@LuciusSuperbus The first time I heard this song I was in a really tough financial situation, it was early 2013 and I was working two jobs to make ends meet. It was exhausting physically and mentally. This song was a great reminder to not give up and keep going. That is so cool how the song helped you keep teaching! 🙌👍😎
Everything Avicii made from mid 2010 and the whole of 2011 turned into pure gold! Literally everytime he sat at the computer something stunning would just be created. This is where he made this remix, Levels, Blessed, Silhouettes. I could be the one with Nicky Romero, Nadia Ali Rapture Remix, Abow, Penguin, Armin Van Buuren remix, Nervo "You're gonna love again" "Dancing in my head" from Eric Turner, etc...
@@mjhancock6029 Every time their respective music mesh, then...? Both Coldplay and Avicii have great melodies , a sense of euphoria at their best and big replay value, imo...
Greetings from Seattle. I have been to Germany several times. The music is awsome. The beer is good. The women are beautiful. The country is post card perfect especially Bavaria. The people in general are warm and inviting to an American.
This and silhouettes always made me think of death, like the last moments before you die and you think about all the things your happy you did and all the things you regret but at the end of the day what’s done is done and you can’t do anything about it but let go
Hi Adam,im very very happy that you have a good impression from the German people =) My english isnt very good but I would like to train =D I hope that you have a very good day in Germany when you go to us =) Have a good day too ;)
Lyrics: I turn the music up, I got my records on I shut the world outside until the lights come on Maybe the streets alight, maybe the trees are gone I feel my heart start beating to my favourite song And all the kids they dance, all the kids all night Until Monday morning feels another life I turn the music up I'm on a roll this time And heaven is in sight I turn the music up, I got my records on From underneath the rubble sing a rebel song Don't want to see another generation drop I'd rather be a comma than a full stop Maybe I'm in the black, maybe I'm on my knees Maybe I'm in the gap between the two trapezes But my heart is beating and my pulses start Cathedrals in my heart As we saw oh this light I swear you, emerge blinking into To tell me it's alright As we soar walls, every siren is a symphony And every tear's a waterfall Is a waterfall Oh Is a waterfall Oh oh oh Is a is a waterfall Every tear Is a waterfall Oh oh oh So you can hurt, hurt me bad But still I'll raise the flag Oh It was a wa wa wa wa wa-aterfall A wa wa wa wa wa-aterfall Every tear Every tear Every teardrop is a waterfall Every tear Every tear Every teardrop is a waterfall Every tear Every tear Every teardrop is a waterfall
Seriously, I may be from the United States but I know Germans are not Nazis. Besides NeoNazis. Every German person I've met in my life time are great people :). I've been taking German in high school for two years now, and I hope to visit Germany one day :). Good day, Adam from Ohio, USA ;D
