That is a solid list my friend! I'd wait for risk of rain returns though as it looks like it might even be better than the original (as impossible as that sounds)
Honestly I'm pogging for another one of these! It's also hilarious that you said you considered not saying the name of the roguelites you're playing, meanwhile you have the video chapters for each game all labelled
The algorithm gods blessed me with part 1 of this series (and this channel in general) and I’ve been loving Revita. Really looking forward to the rest of your content
Before you said you were having trouble with views and what worked for content, but of this is going to be a series I really think it will go a long way, because Im absolutely loving it
just wanted to tell u that this video is the first that is proposed to me, it gave u visibility, might check more of ur video ( probably the previous part ) and first thing i gotta say from watching only 1:45, i like ur voice and the fact that u casualy talk over the game is nice i hope it keep being like that the wholes video!
Sick video! Excited for the next one~ More recommendations! Backpack hero, 20XX, Have a nice death, shovel knight dig, crypt of the necro dancer, downwell aaaand... crowntrick i think is one??
I love this concept. I started watching you during the Antibirth era and I never stop enjoying your content! But also, sell the healing items in dead cells!! That’s all, thank ya!
Not going to lie, I'm a little sad that you didn't get bit by the Noita bug. It's *very* true to original roguelikes, in that *your* knowledge of the game is the best tool you have for leveling up. Pro tip for the mines when the world is on fire: you begin with a flask of liquid. If your clothes are wet, they don't catch on fire. Keeping yourself damp is just about the best way to get through the first two holy mountains regularly.
The way you started out this vid is how I never ever play a roguelike XD Not even because I think it's too hard, but because... When would I do all the contemplating and environment-appreciating? XD
i remember the reason i started watching you was because you were hacked a while ago i started checking the channel to see if it was unhacked and when it was i was hooked you slay olenky
Would be cool to see a part 3 but with only triple A games! The big companies have started to make roguelike games but people barely know about them lol
Peglin was not possible to beat without being hit 3 weeks ago but with the new classes update the balladin class starts with ballwark which blocks some damage each combat and can get more orbs that give more ballwark.
Have you seen the roguelike pentathlon? Could be an interesting thing to try. The challenge is to complete 5 roguelikes back to back. The specific ones are Isaac, Nuclear Throne, Enter the Gungeon, Crypt of the Necrodancer (best roguelike btw, when do we get to see it?), and Spelunky. Some people are competing speedrunning it and the times are getting kinda ridiculous now
In nova drift, siege weaponry does hull dmg for firing continuously. So the run would've ended sooner. When you said "did you see that?" I thought you finally saw it (cause it happened a moment earlier). I was wrong
Literally the best person to turn to if you like rogue likes. Olexa knows so many and it's crazy. I am hoping you make another video as I patiently await Risk of Rain 1 and 2 to be included. Great content man
i know it probably isnt happening, but i would love to see the roguelike mode of Kirby Fighters 2 in this series, or even just on this channel in general theres a HUGE amount of playable characters and a lot of unlocks
Great video and channel overall, but i have one game suggestion for the next part, Voidigo. Trust its amazing Edit: (Googled it and you have played it before [Duh doy] but plz intergrade Vioidigo to the roulette plz, and windowkill) :) Loaf
Are you doing all this completely manually, or do you have some clever script to swap games for you or whatever? This is a cool series/idea and I’m curious about the behind the scenes now. (You should do it on stream and have people vote for next roguelike! Surely that can’t possibly go wrong!)
I lept screaming at my screen on the last game everytime you would sleep on 'Targeting'. You had so many projectiles yet would not even hit half of them
Whats your highest boss cell (difficulty) in dead cells? The only issue with Dead Cells imo is that higher difficulties add mechanics that make the game actually more enjoyable. This is not the case for any other roguelike I played, just Dead Cells. If anyone else loves roguelikes like me but feels weird about Dead Cells I would go as far as to recommend to cheat your way to 3rd boss cell with assist mode, and start playing the game from there.
Add Voidigo to the list? Idk if you're making any more of these but just a game for the future. And if Noita ever happens to be in the list again pouring water on yourself to get a water stain allows you to go through flames unhurt, unless you jump into burning oil or something, carrying a water flask is one of the best things to do in the game lmao.
A nice change from watching his original series on it and tefrain from commenting because it's from years ago! On here, the move of nullifying the no-damage tank's shield instead of killing the unit behind was A Choice.
I new game that I would HIGHLY recommend is Mega City Police. It's still young and lacks a fair bit of content that I'm sure will be fleshed out as the developers focused more on making a complete game versus a massive item collection/story/post-boss content. There are still three difficulty modes, as well as a final boss and character-specific cutscenes. I haven't had much time to explore the game but as of right now I love it to death and think it would be incredibly challenging to not get hit.
@@OlexaYT fundamentally that statement is no different from "I'm not really a huge fan of playing anything where black people are the good guys" just btw 😭
