I really like how the first intro is played with a heroic and optimist music (along with the bright colors). But the more the story advances, the darker and more cynical things get. And more and more blood covers the title to makes us know that no one truly is...
I remember when I saw the second episode title card with the first splatter. The shit made me say "wtf" Then as time and episodes pass the fuckin thing just got bloodier. The final card just says fuck everything.
@@xrphoenix7194 When I said "gotten". I do mean both directly and indirectly: He sent Invincible flying through a building that got a mother and her daughter killed, Therefore he's indirectly responsible for their deaths.
The sheer foreshadowing of adding a bit more blood each time, then the 8th comes and flat-out splashes the title card and you go like "oh fuck, it's gonna get bloody and gruesome, ain't it?" and that episode damn well did.
I’m pretty sure this title card is trying to reference the fact that later on in the series during the comics, they used a red logo and invincible gets a new outfit that is mostly black with blue. That’s actually a great nod if it is intentional.
The great thing about the Title Card is that as cheesy as it is, it's never been done and is insanely Iconic. The creative directors know exactly what they're doing
I love the impact sounds associated with each blood splatter. From what sounds like mild nose bleed punch, to a cheek cutting punch, to a tooth shattering punch; all the way up to a supersonic Viltrumite punch through the chest. Brutal and poignant.
I hope for a future episode the title card just appears nonchalance during a casual conversation. Like Mark walks into a room and rex goes "Hey (TITLE CARD BLOOD EFFECT)"
What if every time you tried to say that word you get hit in the face with the title card literally and every time you do your blood gets on it more and more 😂
Yo, I cant even use that word without the room going dark and some trumpets playing really fucking loud that my ears almost explode. -What word are you talking about? I'm talking about inv-
Chapter 1- New super hero yay! Chapter 2- That was a lot of murder Chapter 3- Be sad Chapter 4- Ok, things will get better, right? Chapter 5- HOOD Chapter 6- Evil science shit Chapter 7- Where TF is Invincible?! Final- oh mark boutta die
EPISODE 1: “Might as well give up, I’m...” EPISODE 2: “Maybe someday we’ll even work with...” EPISODE 3: “If this can happen to the Guardians of the Globe that means none of us are...” EPISODE 4: “It’s ok I’m...” EPISODE 5: “He calls himself...” EPISODE 6: “Your going to be beautiful, your going to be...” EPISODE 7: “Where’s Mark Debbie, where’s...” EPISODE 8: “I truly hope Mark lives up to his name, to face his father and survive he’ll need to be...”
bro, be careful please, i understood cuz i just so happened to watch the episode right now but not everyone gonna understand it immediately @@nikolaspapanagnou2723
@@adreak9868 Well THAT was the big tone setter for the rest of the story. But it's the way that Mark delivers this exact line that makes the reality set in. Lol
The title card really sets the tone of the show. Leads you into believing it's going to be a lighthearted super hero show, but as the show progresses the title card gets bloodier each episode symbolizing Mark's internal struggle of fearing not living up to the name while suffering through the hardships he's faced each episode due to him not fully mastering his powers.
At last someone edited it, i've been trying to find this clips. If there is Rick Rolling there is Invincible Rolling in every fucking intro, its like butter to your toast.... And i love it...
The mood each title card and tune gives. Episode 1: Heroic optimism! Episode 2: Serious Battle Episode 3: Brooding melancholy, gentle sadness Episode 4: TRUE HERO! Episode 5: The Underworld Episode 6: Dark and Twisted Episode 7: Shadows Emerge, Impending Doom Episode 8: ULTIMATE WARRIOR, THE ONE ABOVE ALL
I love how this is exactly like the Bloody smile from Watchmen A seemingly vibrant, optimistic superhero symbol corrupted by the violence that comes with the job.
Love how the 1st intro is all optimistic & full of color to trick you into thinking this will be a bright & colorful show like something you would see on Cartoon Network but as the show goes on & things get more dark & cynical the intro changes with it by having more blood & the music sounding more ominous as each episode passes.
I love how by the last one they gave up and said “screw it throw the rest of the bucket of blood we had for the title cards it’s the last episode we gotta use it up!”
I don’t know if this has been pointed out at all but, the first and last intro song are the same intro, with the second being deeper with a few more instruments added
I love this. How the music becomes deeper and more menacing towards the end and for that last epic gory episode just...SPLAT. 0:53 HUGE blood splatter on the title
I just find it hilarious how abrupt and overly dramatic the title card is. From this much wheezing I guess it must mean my lungs aren't- **T I T L E C A R D**
