Here’s a quick tip for those who cba to do seasonal content. Having the seasonal artefact in your quests grants you a chance to get seasonal engrams from that season. So instead of playing seasonal content you can play any activity (like crucible) and have a good chance of having that drop. After stacking them up you can just buy weapons from vendors with a chance at a red border. I also recommend deleting other seasonal artefacts from your inventory to get a higher chance of getting specific engrams…
@carnage9536 solo players?? And it's probably the best thing to spend the tokens on because everything else you can buy is easily farmable for solo players and those last wish weapons were added for solo players like me.
Yeah, that would've helped a lot. Especially if you're not a native english speaker, play the game in a different language, and / or don't do much raids :) Would've been nice to show the weapon before you cut to the gameplay. That way the screen won't get too cluttered. (Or record the gun's page on d2foundry to show off the perks, before heading into gameplay?) Either way, great video. Thanks a lot! 👍🏼
The reason for Slice on Scatter Signal lies within the artifact for the season. Sever is an easy debuff to apply for Torch to take effect. Outside of that though it isn't going to be the way to go in the future.
There’s also a strand warlock dps rotation that uses demolitionist but it uses apotheosis veil… I’ve yet to use it but if done right it apparently shreds half the health of the ogre boss from the Grasp Of Avarice dungeon Should clear up that this is for Apex Predator
13:51 As a side not before he goes past bequest, for titans specifically, I recommend trying a flash counter vorpal weapon crown splitter. That hung absolutely crushes bosses that you can kill with a sword. Time your block right and let the boss stomp you then proceed to do a light heavy combo and you will do massive damage I was using banner of war and only had a 2 stack and put up 101,000+ damage with a single heavy slam and light attacks were bushing 70k while flash counter was active. I don’t even want to know what it looks like at max war banner stacks. I will stand by it I use it on the GOA ogre I’ve named Frieza cuz I don’t know how to say his name.
@@bruiseleeroy7010 lol yea, I’m a Dragonball nerd won’t even front about that. I was looking at throne cleaver as well and it looks like it can roll with the same perks as Crownsplitter. I will say you have to block with flash counter just before they hit you to get the weakening effect but as long as you pace it well you can get it proc’d and do stupid damage cuz the sword is already pushing out ridiculously high damage With just vorpal.
A very niche use for Forbearance is that if you put genesis on it and use it in Garden of Salvation, you wouldn’t have to reload the gun because that shield would activate the perk
Ikelos is better than wastelander since wastelander had a slower animation to swap to and grave robber is an S tier perk for melee builds since any melee kills reload the gun

Correct me if im wrong but isnt Forebearance already maxed and Prodigal would still be a zero blast radius? Lastly, wouldnt it be better to have your Doomed Petitioner w/Ionized Battery, Envious and Precision Inst? Given that your Briars is your Surrounded Linear already? Not sure.
surrounded copers are insane. You recommend surrounded over one for all? one for all is safer to proc and is only a 5% damage loss on a primary, which on a primary isnt a big deal. surrounded is only good on swords and in (some) raids and dungeons and in that content it really dont matter what you try and do. Also voltshot is still amazing and more effective than incandescent.
Has Bungie bothered to come up with a method for us to obtain Deepsite Resonances so we can complete the red borders we currently have in the game?After Final Shape is said and done it won't be possible to obtain anymore from battle passes from my observation.
Slugs are still good cause double slug ghorn is the best ghorn rotation. Same thing with tractor and the best rocket rotation that any class can do is double slug apex
@@Bruce918 double slug is still good for bosses where there is a high crit multiplier but you are right double pellet is better. I’m 90% sure double slug apex is better but I’ll have to double check
@@D2Beagle its not better where you can consistently hit crits, if you can’t which is most bosses then its not but for most bosses you can’t even use SGs
Good solid weapons! Kinda bummed the two single best autos didn't make it in (abyss defiant and age old bond) both at the hard hitting 360 archetype for pve and both offering healing and damage perks... But one note about the comment at the end "demo will be as good as pre-nerf Starfire" just remember it has a cool down so you'll still have to swap weapons like any other damage rotation, so it's been powercrept unfortunately...
Swasbuckler in the 4th column on Subjunctive seems like a winner if you're running a one two punch build. The Ikelos SMG feels mediocre, particularly due to the mag size
I am a Titan main and a lore nut so I follow the firebreak order of Titans mindset. Where are my deaths gonna have the most impact I let my fists do the talking most cases Because even in legend lost sectors I am still closing the distance and bullying champions and the bosses. yes I die. I’m not gonna pretend like I flawless stuff all the time but generally speaking I don’t die more than twice and I solo dungeons when I’m not running them as a duo with my brother with few deaths so I just enjoy what I have I recommend people get the craftable Battle rifle from the 30th Anniversary DLC for sure though. it feels like a battle rifle but it got supped up my crafted heating up incandescent slaps in pve as well as pvp and the best part is you can run dares without having to have the dlc and get weapons from the weapons chest behind Xur in his treasure hoard.
Just wait for the KF is the feature raid and go master totem challenge, all harrowed weapon drop from master challenge have a good roll so you can use it without any red border.
I so badly want to do master raids but I'm not at the power to do so. I just started playing again part way through this season because I heard coil slaps 😭
I’ve never even heard of that Scout Rifle, shoot to loot is not a MUST for most activities unless you’re a speed runner who needs ammo quickly without wasting a few seconds just to run to the brick. Tyranny of Heaven definitely deserved a mention and so did Abyss Defiant or Ammit for Solar, I think Nation of Beast is slept on for Arc Surge. You mentioned a glaive but didn’t give credit to ALL Trace’s, every Trace in the gave is good and has their place.

You missed a few things, one is that Path of least resistance still gets shoot to loot. They didn’t remove it from its perk pool at all. You can go on d2 foundry and see it’s still there. Next is slug shotguns are still viable for an endgame DPS rotation, but must be built into and usually are occupied by the support role player in a DPS rotation since they’re stuck on tractor anyway. Same with pellet swapping, so Ikelos shotgun can run damage perks like trench barrel surrounded or vorpal for a pellet swap rotation which are better against bosses that don’t have a crit multiplier. Next is supremacy also acts very well as a on its own DPS weapon, fourth times the charm is the 2nd viable perk for it but isn’t meant to be used in a rotation as kinetic is better, but alone it fourth times will do more damage after that semi recent sniper damage buff. Eremite is NOT worse than Cartesian, Cartesian is better for rotation bc it’s rapid fire with vorpal. Eremite is the support role player’s literal child. It is the damage option to pick from when on tractor and slugs aren’t better/are difficult to build into. Eremite with enhanced envious plus reservoir burst actually out damages controlled burst too, but ofc that must then be set up and you have to ensure every shot is loaded into overflow of the mag or else you loose out on the damage over controlled, ideally having one for each perk is good so you can use it depending on the scenario. Scatter signal is good, but it’s not better than riptide just bc of the nerf, it’s not better than riptide bc riptide isn’t a damage weapon it’s a utility, in the utility section riptide is still way better than scatter signal. Additionally I don’t think it out damages eremite, I don’t know the exact numbers but I’m pretty sure it’s a little worse than eremite which can also surge match with apex predator, and while ofc you won’t use eremite for a rotation, you don’t lose special ammo when swapping weapons, the % of ammo yiu have carries over to the 2nd weapon you equip, so if you don’t have enough rocket ammo to last a full phase, swapping to eremite doesn’t require any surge changes just swapping from Cartesian to eremite. When you are a support role though scatter signal for dps still does really well and thank you for not being one of the clowns using slice for damage. For the linears you should not focus surrounded on them since you are going to be getting flinched while running them and surrounded is too niche and at best unreliable for not enough of a damage buff and unviable in stuff where adds are stronger like master raids, or if packed enough, (normal or legendary difficulty) solo content. Focused fury is also a realistically better damage perk for briars and precision instrument is the must have on doomed petitioner. Cataclysmic also is better than the 2 aggressive, in the long term it has more ammo economy and significantly higher total damage compared to the last 2, depending on scenario one or the other is better, but then again, why use a linear when you can run rockets so who really cares.
Also, apex can be good with bipod, bipod is better than explosive light since explosive light does got buff the damage of the Wolfpack rounds you get, bait and switch or surrounded will buff them so you lose damage in a fireteam when opting for explosive light. Bipod is definitely worse than bait and switch, but for people who wanna turn their brain and and just point and shoot or are a new player and don’t have any other weapons useful for damage yet, bipod does slightly less total damage than bait and switch does and in day 1 raid scenarios where content is so hard to live in all guns must be devoted to living/killing adds/procking buffs to stay alive and you don’t have any other things other than a heavy worth for using in DPS rotations Bipod takes the spot for best damage perk.
3rd update* I just looked at the numbers, scatter signal has ab 84k DPS but 1.5 mil total damage and eremite with the same controlled envious roll has ab 75k DPS and a little under 2 mil total damage. The chart did not show reservoir burst, so when in ideal scenarios you can image both are up by a small margin too.
Shoot to Loot is the only reason you'd want a Brya's Love? Either you're not great with scouts or just never play crucible. Keep Away and Explosive Payload on this thing absolutely slaps. Between my crafted and the drop I initially got - over 1,000 kills and I switch my secondary out pretty frequently.
I was about to make a funny joke about needing the enhanced perks because of golden borders but i got hit with a Deja Vu so hard it's not even funny, i can recall exactly everything. Looking up into the video and seeing you talk about retraced path while on prophecy, feeling a deja vu and looking up at the TV on the PS4 main menu. holy shit i feel like I've been hit by a truck I got a deja vu of a deja vu, HOW? is there a chance this is a reupload??
This is a great video. Don’t forget that bungie is releasing a content drop in a month or two that’s meant to catch everyone up to raid ready status in time for lightfall. So either the meta will be flipped or everything is going to be RIDICULOUSLY easy to farm
surrounded will give u more damage, voltshot let’s u stun overloads and frenzy gives u the benefits of threat detector + a minor damage boost so it mostly depends on play style
seeing so many comments against the perk makes me think it’s more of a play style thing on my end but it’s helped me a lot in day 1 raids, gms and lowmans

I legit do not understand the hype with lead from gold. Its a perk... Thats about it, its not incredible and i have legit never had a time where i have heavy on the ground and problems with special ammo.
It’s literally free ammo. More ammo=more damage. Sometimes after a raid boss damage wave you have 0 ammo for special and heavy. This allows you to find 1 heavy brick and get ammo for your special and heavy. It’s an s tier perk
@@A1Strider Except it’s not niche. It can be used in literally every scenario the game throws at you. I was just giving an example. In the wasteland we for example, none of the other perks in the third column really help that much.
This guy has some divergent opinions from my own, shoot to loot, I have 2500+ hours in this game and I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve said to myself, I wish I had shoot to loot right now. If you’re the type to take a wave frame and a bow into GMs, maybe you’ll use it.
