I remember when they had these fast changing menus. Was way too fast. You try and read the menu to order but its only up for like 5 seconds at a time.

McDs menus hide the value items and show only the high priced burgers with higher margins. The great thing about places doing this is that it's made me go to fast food places less.

They do it on purpose and only highlight the most expensive items so you order that to not feel awkward at the counter, that's also why most value items are in super small writing

Literally, exactly how the menues worked when they came out. I ate a double chocolate glazed with a large double double for lunch for weeks because that’s all I could remember to order, then she just started asking if I wanted the usual...arggg.

This happened to me when I was asking about a new donut, Indian girl acting like it doesn’t exist, told her to look at screen, she looked, it disappeared, she’s like what sir? Legit this shit is 100% real life not a joke, Tim Hortons is a fucking joke of a brand destined to fail as soon as there’s just new companies who do what they do but better. They survive because there’s no competition. I can’t say Dunkin Donuts is any better though. In many cases from my experience it’s worse.

A long time ago running a business was about making a product that people wanted or needed, making a better one than others, and offering it for sale at a price just enough above cost to make a profit. Marketing was to let people know about it and maybe why yours was better. Now business is about getting as much money out of people by any means that you can. Every aspect of it is a con. Marketing is brainwashing con. The product is a necessary inconvenience to be made as cheaply and as low quality as they can get away with. The ideal is to sell the cheapest goods at the highest price by convincing you that you need it. I know, I went to business school.

i used to go to tims most everyday but got so fed up with the disapering menues i rairaly ever go there anymore. i go to another companys fast food place now and have for a few years. so this vid is spot on.
