This time, I'm playing the classic Half-Life mod Sven Co-op on the Steam Deck. Many people on Reddit are asking for good co-op games to play on the Steam Deck, but I haven't seen any other videos of this mod running on the Deck on RU-vid. So, I decided to make a video myself demonstrating how easy, fun, and crazy it can be.
All you need is the GoldSrc version of Half-Life installed on Steam, download Sven Co-op from the Steam Store, and run it. That's it.

Weird. I could swear it wouldn’t star w/o hl1, but maybe I’m thinking of synergy instead.

@@zerocore_ in Sven coop 4.8 you’re required to use HL. But with the big release of Sven coop 5.0 the game was a standalone so you’re only able to play in coop no single player. I can say this because I played it before I owned HL.

Another great video! I'm guessing you could even use the Deck's built in mic for voice chat, too?

Thanks so much! I’m actually using the Steam Deck mic during this session. At around 6:40 you can hear this other player question if I’m actually playing on a Steam Deck, and you can see me resting my thumb on the right track pad to activate the mic. Unfortunately I haven’t figured out an easy was to record the mic input during gameplay, but I’m saying to him that he has to take my word for it, haha.

Do you think you could do some Halo Reach next? I just got my AR glasses for the Deck and finished it. I'd love to see you aim against those fast moving elites.
