"JBay lights up the town and everyone comes to play, Jordy, Stevie Sawyer and I think I saw Lakey Peterson. What a day of surfing-it tripled in size from the first waves we saw at morning light. JBay rolled out the green carpet for the Surfing Elite. Fresh off the Balito Pro, you could tell that the talent in the water had decided to hang around and catch a glimpse of JBay at its best, rising to the challenge of a day they'll have seared into their memories forever.
The 8th of July 2024 was a legendary day at Supers. For me, it was one of the first times filming it at this size and condition-it was amazing. Even though I've been doing photography/film for 20 years and been a surfer since I was 14, I'm learning new things every time I film. I'm growing quickly, and it feels great to be doing two things I love combined.
