I'm really disappointed that the car physics won't be like gta 4 however if they can find a way to make the vehicles move more realistic like in gta 4 while also making it easier to drift around curves during a high speed chance or a race I will be fine with that
I think there will be a faster option for stealing park cars like for an example if you hold F it would lockpick or if you press F it would break the cars windows but for the armored cars you will be forced to lockpick
I really love the idea of GTA 6 being so realistic with fuel consumption and lock picking and so on but i do think so people might not like that so it would be cool if they had different mods in settings to change it from realistic to less realistic or even have an open for custom settings like what you see in a lot of racing games Id prefer realistic tho
I don't think refueling would be too difficult but the lockpicking could be solved just by them giving the player a choice on whether or not to lockpick or just break the window of the car
i hope you can hold Y (xbox) F (PC) or triangle (ps5) to lockpick and you just regularly break the windows and get in by simply pressing the buttons. i love the idea of fuel too it would be funny if you would run out of fuel in a police chase and the character just says "****, outta gas..." with fully customisable vehicles i would kinda not like it, but if the game is mainly street race focused it should be more complex whilst being completely simplified like gta v
I emailed rockstar a few times over support and mouthoff contacts asking for a lockpick and hotwire system akin to the warriors radio steal minigame such as if another players car is set to locked it can still be stolen by doing this and then quick return will be disabled until the person who steals it reaches the delivery destination, jumps out or is stopped by the owner and then to get the car back you have to steal it from a shady dealership lockup like simeones gone in 60 second style, I also asked for skateboards and detailed tuning options like in gran turismo such as gear ratios and engine swaps... so far every time I've asked for something over the years it has been implemented (neons, hotwheels tracks, maibatsu monstrosity etc) so we shall see... I just hope skateboards are in the game that is my biggest wish
I love the addition of gas tanks to cars. I hope the different cars have different gas mileage, ie: trucks would need to be refueled more often and would be more expensive to fill than a sedan. The casual player wouldn’t love this, but if you like a hyper-realistic experience, GTA 6 looks like it’s gonna be amazing
As i understand it, Trucks have bigger Fuel tanks but a higher fuel consumption, a sedan has a smaller fuel tank but needs less fuel, so it wouldnt make a huge difference i believe
Gta6 I’ll be gta6, not gta rp. There’s not way will have to refuel our cars, maybe it will be a little animation for fun but surely not a real feature that impact the gameplay
it’s not confirmed that there’s gonna be fuel in the car as I mean I hope so but him saying that there’s two bars under the map does not confirm anything in GTA five there were three bars, indicating the health, the shield and the special ability bar
in response to the whole lockpicking thing, it's probably gonna be like in mafia where you can choose to lockpick the car or smash the window, smashing it means the police will know it's stolen and lockpicking means it isn't noticed or takes longer to notice depending if cars will be reported stolen in the game or not
If they add the feature of fuel consumption I just hope gas isn't too expensive like make the gas only 40-60 dollars to fill up the tank like 60 dollars isnt too hard to come up on in GTA games plus that'll be something to spend money on so you'll never get bored with your money and make you strategise how to budget like make money more valuable that will make us want to play side mission and progress thru the story quicker to get to the heist/high paying missions asap
Regarding stealing cars, in my opinion, they will put lock picking as a silent solution even with cars with alarms, and instead the classic glass-breaker for a quick but less silent solution
What I hope for the First person mode is a little more realistic: I can understand the mild difficulty emulating the "Real sight." But, I think that if you are going to make a First-person Perspective in a game, You can really see the Details inside the vehicles and appreciate the effort in First-person perspective. All they have to do is compare to the Size of the Character, How tall are they and Adjust the Numbers to their natural FOV of 150. Which gives an Average individual the Capacity to "See" Clearer things in FPS, But can be adjustable... Anyway, I love the Addition of "Gas tanks" as that was a feature that was going to be in GTA V, But later Scrapped due to time Restraints and the Devs thought it would have been annoying that players would have to Fill up their gas tank... (Which they could have Avoided by just adding fuel during missions... or least make it not drain during them.) I really hope that GTA 6 will have Semi-Realistic Aspects that people do in real life, Because since we probably won't get the game until 2024 or 2025... I wouldn't expect them to make the game like a "Crime Simulator." But very much close to it... Rock Star has yet to disappoint me in quality life improvements of their games. I really double down my Faith as I even play RDR2 from time to time, Just to immerse myself or just bullshit. Vehicles I personally hope that is more "Realistic" feeling on certain vehicles. For example the Larger the vehicle, The Slower it starts, But weight beats little car. But on the other hand, Little car can avoid Big truck Faster if necessary is accomplished. I know this is a small detail, But I really hope they fix the "Aircraft & Helicopter" Vibes... They tried to emulate it in GTA 5. But the Helicopters or Planes don't feel as "Floaty." They don't have physics as they feel extremely static, You press R2 and pull back, you're flying immediately... I would like to see a bit of love towards Air vehicles and a little more realistic take instead of just the generic GTA 5 or GTA 4 Physics. We live in 2023 please utilize the weight distributions a bit better for Air vehicles.

Are cars going to have mileage that affects the sale price? I hope there’s also a tire wear & engine wear mechanic. Not just gas but gotta do oil changes, get new rubber, and change brakes. (Especially if those things are already customizable). The health of those things will effect your ability to get away from cops for example
Yeah lets make it so that if u damage ur car ull get fined, u cant enter others vehicles or u go to prison and he banned from playing the game for certain amount of time to simulate reality, lets have 1 to 1 day night, so if ur sitting down to play at night its gonna be night till the sun comes out in the morning, lets make it so that ur real credit card is binded to in game one so if u lose in game money u llse real one vice versa, lets make new shous as a merch for gta owners so when u drift the car ur feet get hot like real tires get and u might burn ur feet, then if u go to hospital real life doctor should also treat u in real life lioe in the game
Another thing with the dealerships, perhaps you could talk to a clerk to test drive one and just never bring it back. They would need to put some kind of limiter on this but it could be an option.
So making money would be a bit more challenging, then we'll have to take care of the character's health which would need money, then we'll also want to buy things we want, then we'll need to refuel of vehicles from time to time as well, etc... This is gonna be interesting😅
Kind of just hoping the story and gameplay is great, also want my online character to transfer, think about how cool that’d be. The start of gta 6 online has us flying into the new city with our character

Rockstar has so much money and it pisses me off that they don’t invest in the licensing for the real Car brands like other games like Forza or the Crew doe’s
Because then they have to pay for all those licenses then remove the cars when they don't have those licenses anymore Plus if they used real cars brand then they wouldn't be able to add Ferrari cars because Ferrari is a notorious brand for being a nightmare with getting licenses for (and I don't think GTA would get it) While they can do it there's a reason they don't It's pretty much the same with the music as they buy the licenses then remove songs they no longer have licenses for
Im excited to see what the driving will feel like in gta 6, i imagine thats actually a very hard element to master even for the geniuses at R*.developing that right feel that would satisfy most ppl, very tricky. Im interested in the technological aspect of that, like what kind of software is used and how they go thru the process of tweaking the steering and what not. Ive played gta 5 countless times and have beat it multiple times as well, but ive never actually played gta 4 ( except for like 10 mins i think at a buddies house when it first came out i was just driving around, was 12 years old i think), can someone enlighten me how the driving is in that game compared to gta 5?
GTA 4 driving is way more realistic. Cars accelerate slower and brake longer (you can feel the weight of the car). The suspension is much softer making the centrifugal force noticeable and important. Drifting is also more realistic and if you know how to operate a car in real life, it is very easy to control the car in GTA 4, unlike in GTA5 where no matter of tire width, car weight or suspension, all cars are driving almost the same as they are going on a train trails 😅 I hoped for GTA 6 to return with that physics, but it seems it will not. Let's hope that GTA5 model will be improved to satisfy people who liked GTA 4 for it (not only removing the speed limit...)
3:25 we know that if in gta 5 we are protected when for say, buying a drink from a gas station we practically have god mode, meaning we most likely will have the same outcome in gta 6
Rockstar Games could make the handling of vehicles arcade for GTA Online only. They already implemented several flags over the years to GTA Online which changes the maximum speed and forces and such to the vehicle you driving, making a difference if you drive the same car in singleplayer or in GTA Online. That's not a problem at all. Also there could be a second handling definition designed for online mode with more simple handling. It's an matter of implementation.
Cars need fuel, lockpick when stealing them, police remembering license number that you need to change in order to keep the car and lose the cops, it was all in Mafia II. It is not inovative, it was there, 13 years ago. Of course, I expect that it will be improved drastically for GTA VI.
I wish that if your car runs out of fuel on the side of the road, you can just call the emergency service line and call for the DOT and have them tow your car to the gas station or have them bring gas to you
Refuelling is a great and needed mechanic, how cool would a chase be if u could put a couple of bullet holes in the tank of a car you're pursuing and just wait for them to run out of fuel, rather than the generic smash em up.
Don't just look what gonna be in GTA VI from GTA V, look back on RDR 2 details, that is latest game from Rockstar.. so if RDR 2 was masterpiece, GTA VI won't fail down fo sure!!
I think that this new gta will surpass gta online in number of vehicles. It is more arguable that it would be the gta with more vehicles, since they have been adding this last time cars that fit with the next installment.

I even got a nice coffee mug as a souvenir, all black with a huge R* on one side and NORTH written at the bottom on the other in brilliant white.
Can't wait to get hands on GTA VI. Don't know what Google will do just like GTA V take as AI learning model or more it's huge success of rockstar games and developers working 20 hours a day to give us such immersive and luxury experience. I believe the thrill of cop chases and street racing is going to be insane the reality coming to GTA hope we get Boss in every part of GTA VI just like in NFS and fake cops so we can bribe them on low stars. I think they should have settings for things like car damage and player damage. For me I want it as real as possible it makes the gameplay so much more in depth.
They wouldn’t do that because the GTA games are supposed to be a parody of real life, and not a direct reflection. Furthermore they’d have to pay so much money for licensing, that it wouldn’t be lucrative to keep any real world brands in game. If they did, once the contracts expired, they’d have to push out updates to remove this car, that car, etc. can you imagine the backlash they’d receive? So it makes to keep it the way they have always produced GTA titles

Honestly, useable gas tanks should have been a thing in GTA V without having to use mods of course. However the car tuning for GTA 6 sounds next level and should be very interesting. I believe the stealing cars and selling them for profit will be a thing, because the game 171 already has this in their game. Selling them from a car lot that you own is going to be insane!
I already know, that pfister (potential) car theft is a nod to "Gone in 60 Seconds" especially since R* loves to give nods to movies and keeping them close to the actual scenes
They can solve the problem with lock picking cars during police shoot outs very easily. Just simply have the option to smash a car window, get in, hotwire , then drive away. But I guess you would need to be aware of which cars would have a stronger security system that would mean that hotwiring such cars would take longer. In a normal situation you would not do that because it would draw to much attention to yourself and your stealth steal would be a failure.
I wish they adding so you can own tractor,tow truck, and other trucks aswell and even customizable trucks and own them in your garage. there are some cool vehicles in GTA5 that you cant own in online i really hope they change this for GTA 6

You could literally just shoot the driver's window and then open it from the inside. That's what everyone's been doing in GTA V forever now. It would make lockpicking a whole let less of a headache, and have it open as an option for if you just want to steal the car quietly without attracting anyone.

Man lockpicking mini game would be great for cars that are parked, like it's a 40% for a car to be locked if it's parked. But I have a huge boulder of salt while listening to all these. Will be cut content most likely... or online one.
Hopefully you'll have to stop and get gas at a station to make it more realistic, as well as storing a gas can in or on the car, just in case you run out.
the suspension system from what i seen and heard is gonna be just like BeamNG its not gonna be boaty like in gta4 but not arcade its gonna be close to irl
most of these features are already a thing on the RP server I play on like fuel for your car, owning car dealerships and different dealerships for types of cars
I’m all for realistic elements. I only play gta for rp on pc so hearing you’ll be able to refuel you’re car or unlocking cars manually instead of it being automatic is amazing to hear if these “leaks” are real. Man this game is gonna be top tier to me. P.S. I went into a sever once and all the npc’s cars were locked so players couldn’t just hop in and rob one straight out of traffic. Had me wondering. Would Rock* do that? It’d definitely would be interesting. lol
