The demon deaths hit me so hard because it was a reminder that they're the product of a curse. In their death they regained their humanity and seeing them freed and their memories restored really nails in how killing them is a sort of kindness.
@@KoyaMist man uper moon 3 at first i hated him (rengoku my favorite pilar ), but backstory of akaza mmmmmmm... Dont remember last time read that good backatory i love him so much And that is why i love this show so much its not only animation mangaka keep story so simple but so god dam good
SarahAnimatesWolves yeah but I don’t recommend it as much as the sub it’s well done but tanjiros voice has no feeling behind it so it just messes with the mood
@@youknowmeboi4892 Well I already watched the entire first season in sub so I'm not planning on it ever. I am curious though, I didnt realize there even was an English dub of it.
OH MY GOD I JUST REALIZED- When Urokodaki was talking about demons and how they can change forms and stuff and it showed that demon boy, that was the demon that Tanjirou fought in the trials!!! You can see it in the flashback of Urokodaki and the demon fighting!!! OOOOOOHHHHH AFLJKDSFHL THATS SO COOL!!!! I love this anime/manga so much... I'm crying :'))))
@@user-lj6ls3vx4o the anime is basically an anime adaption of the Manga with a few slight changes, so it'll basically just be that, if your really curious you can search the summary up since i havent read the manga either.
not every anime has demon slayers using breathing with style effect as techniques and fighting demon created by the devil disguised as Michael Jackson.
29:49 and this where he turned from a annoying character to one of the most interesting then by saving nazuko (sorry I miss spell) he turned lovable one
People hate him because he's annoying, but they really don't understand him and why he's like that in the first place. Most characters are just annoying and that's that. But Zenitsu is justifiable and highly relatable.
Oh geez, I was screaming about the scene where the boy realizes on his own that Tanjirou had gone through the same thing for AGES. No flashbacks, no dramatic internal "we're exactly the same" Tanjirou monologue, just...that was a shock, and it was the best shock I've had in years.
What I love about the hatchet scene is how you can even see his arm go up to throw it when the audience is to believe he just throws the rock. You can really figure it our for yourself long before Giyu realizes it, but just like him, you are likely too focus on Tanjiro's desperate appearance to notice. Also, Tanjiro is the world's big brother and you cannot prove me otherwise!
The active camera work they do in this anime is easily some of the best part about it. While usually in 2D animation it's a mostly static zoom and overall angle, Demon Slayer pushes in, pulls out, pans, and just goes wherever it bloody well wants to.
*A demon girl tries to kill others with her football* Her sad story: I just wanted to play 😢 Me:and that's how you made a story , a sad story. By telling it when someone's dying
The dead people play a very important role further on with the demons. Most of the demon moons refuse to move on but their lost loved ones help them and comfort them
19:24 i fully appreciated ufotable's work with demon slayer once i saw the details of small things like the callouses on tanjiro's hands. i know it was highlighted for that scene but there are other times when i see the callouses. it's such a small detail but those are what take animation and art to another level.
I love how comedic this picture thing is at 30:51 I mean, Nezuko playing with bandages and Yushiro holding a knife like he's about to kill someone even though he won't? Love it
i really wish he would have touched on zenitsu's enhanced hearing at the end or muzan's voice actor killing it in episode 7 but i really enjoyed this video. the damn anime's awesome
THANK YOU for mentioning the music. It's so amazing how they capture the intensity of the scene is so cool! And that ANIMATION is *_BEAUTIFUL_* ! AND HUMANIZING THE DEMONS is brilliant! I'm in love with this anime right now! I love the characters and the story! It's incredible!
the next arc is the train arc but it is very short so there making it into a movie, so I imagine that the animation will be better than it has ever been before
If an anime gets a second season is largely based on how much merchandise they sell. (manga, figures etc.) And since the manga was sold out in a very large amount of manga shops in Japan, (all the volumes, there are around 20 if I’m not mistaken) there will definitely be a second season.
27:47 the characters are CGI as well there which makes it even better because it shows that this anime has so good CGI that it is hard to see it sometimes
Can the second half just be posted now? I want to see how many wins you give episode 19. Also I guess I'm part of those few girls you mentioned earlier and I'm proud of it. Love your videos, whether it's sins or wins it's always entertaining
Ty Deb for being in the few gals squad! I finished part 2 yesterday entirely but obviously i got a schedule to keep to so money comes in evenly. I'll put it up in probably 4-6 weeks
For the last arc so far, I like how there were three demons so we could showcase each character's breathing style. Also how they did go in and save the older brother instead of "to save others in there" or some bullcrap
I wasn't looking the Win counter and at that moment I happened to look and said "omg 6 episodes in and already 876 wins?" and then I realized the mistake but i think it might be the win counter from the future that came back to this episode
God, this anime. I think I cried at least once an episode. Either a touching moment, tragic backstory or just hearing sorrow and sadness in character's voice
I think 13:45 hits us all so hard because not only do we realize that once he became a demon he killed his brother and that is what solidifies their demonic nature (until they die) but we also contrast his killing his older brother with Tanjiro's younger brother waking Tanjiro in the battle and you see that Tanjiro feels almost protective (thus him holding the demons fading hand and praying) and you can also see that the demon recognized that touch and responded by holding Tanjiro back as he regained his memories. This is also the first time we see what happens to demons when they die and get their memories back: they greet their loved ones and move to the afterlife with them.
I think the best thing in the beginning was how the didnt dwell on his training for many episodes! Like two years went by so fast between episodes 2 3 4 and I really appreciated that
26:54 Just watched that episode today (mid-binge), and it really put me in mind of Nina Tucker from FMA. Both scenes evoked the heartbreak and tragedy of the little girl trapped inside the monster.
What I also like about the 3 minute mark is that cutting your hair is usually seen as the start of a new life, which is true in Tanjiro's case. It's another super subtle yet pretty epic scene imo.
I 100% was blown away in the fight with the arrow guy, but it wasn't just what finished him off that made me amazed. It was when he had trouble defeating him and was being thrown every which way by the arrows. As an animator it blew me away. Also when I remember the fight with the ball lady, I remember my shock when Nezuko tried to kick the ball. (Just everything was beautiful, but I wanted to mention these just cuz) this anime is by far beautiful and stunning no matter how you look at it.
