Eventually I'll get a real tune, but with high payments I wouldn't want to risk voiding warranty so I'll probably run JB4 Map 2 only for a bit paired with exhaust and hx.

I would say so, but the B58 motor in the BMW seems to be one of their most reliable yet. It's gotta be reliable if Toyota was willing to put in their Supra. Just when things do break on the other brands, they will be more expensive to fix than Japanese. The main thing to keep reliability on the VR30 is to do oil changes every 5k km(dealer recommends 8.5k km). Also, if you drive hard, the heat exchanger is definitely a good idea.

Hell yah! That's awesome man, I can't wait to do a cpl mods myself. Tired of it being so quiet. Exhaust and JB4 are my next mods for sure.

@@RevsALot Curious any reason you’re going with the Jb4 instead of ecutek with a tune? I see alot of hate for the jb4s.

@user-bi2me1kj7p just cause I have warranty and don't want to void it. Ppl that have issues with JB4 running too high of maps without proper mods. I'd only run map 1 or 2.

@@adriancarter6955 Yeah lightweight wheels is definitely a must, im trying to kill these pilot sport all seasons it came with so i can get new wheels and tires. They dont hook for crap😂

Haha she would just say she hates how I drive. She likes the tq. though, and she likes the 360⁰ camera, she's 5' so it's a lot easier for her to drive then her TLX.

Ah k, I didn't know they were a parent company until 2018. Either way the newer Q50 have a different turbo the older VR.
