Killer brothers Lyle and Erik Menendez are back in the headlines after Netflix released the latest season of the anthology series “Monsters.” The privileged brothers killed their parents, Lyle and Kitty Menendez, in their Beverly Hills home in 1989. But how many liberties did producers take in the fictional series? Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber separates fact from fiction.

12:25 100% false. The brothers absolutely left the house after the murders. They went to AMC Century City to try and get tickets to Batman but the theatre would only sell them tickets to the later show, as is shown in Monsters. They then also went to Taste of LA but were too late to meet their friend. When they returned home they could not believe that the neighbors had not called the police after the shootings, so they staged the 911 call.

The show helped the brother to motivate lots of empathy from people because nowadays we better understand trauma. They should be just grateful (as, apparently, privately they are). The series on Netflix is very Hollywood and woke . They make sure that both brothers appear as are possible homosexuals and they entertain left ideologies.

They were found guilty by 12 jurors. Why something comes up 35 years later? They deserve life in jail for what they did.Sounds like a story they came up with their lawyers knowing the parents could not defend themselves.

@@wilsonbrito9565the evidence of what they did is what led to those jurors giving a guilty verdict, a show should not influence a murder trial that ended 35 years ago either a guilty verdict, to bring up “new” evidence in a show
