The truffle npc is not requried to be in a jungle biome, but to make an above ground mushroom biome you need the ground to be mud blocks

Side note 1. The Dye Trader isn't really fond of the steampunker as seen in some of the dialogue. 2. Both the nurse and arms dealer are perfectly content living anywhere in the world so long as they're neighbors.

I think the “preferred” neighbors for each NPC fact here are more like NPCs who share a similar biome preference.

Okay, looking at this list, there are some massive discrepancies, mainly in neighbours, primarily the ones that REALLY like each other, such as the Nurse/Arms Dealer combo and even moreso, the Mechanic/Goblin Tinkerer combo, both being good options for the Desert biome and Ice biome respectfully. Also having the Tavernkeep and Demolitionist underground is an easy combo as well.

It might be possible to have all NPC's in one biome area given you meet all the requirements. You can only have so many in one area and you want to group them in preferred orientation. This will depend on the structure material as well as furniture. Give the NPC's their theme living space and enough space between them and they will be happy.

Thank you this made a lot more sense than some guides of read online The NPC I had a most trouble with would have to be the truffle building in the jungle is just insane to do i blame it on the bats

So how to get max happiness? The merchant for example lives in the forest next to the nurse but i am still lacking the achievement for maximal happiness

Apparently dryad will also move in after u kill king slime I figured that out yesterday haven’t killed any other boss yet

I know this is irrelevant but what cape and dye combo is that its subtle but really nice

He left out so many other relationships like how the party girl likes the zoologist as well and the guid and merchant dislikes crowds

The hardest one for me was definitely hair stylist, even tho i found spiders almost the the very beginning of the game (i hate spiders. i was standing ooutside that cave making some weird tunnels to not have to be near them.)

The Goblin Tinkerer doesn't like the Clothier. But, a way you can get around this, is put them a certain distance away from each other. I think 30 blocks in enough for it.

Theres also secret seed where u start with 5-6 npcs and one of them is princess

Hey! This is a really good video, the editing is good and your dialogue is great, however, some of your facts are incorrect. For example: You said The Guide likes The Merchant, The Zoologist and The Golfer. Everyone there does like the forest biome, however, it doesn’t mean that they necessarily like each other. The Guide actually likes The Princess, The Zoologist and The Clothier. He dislikes The Steampunker and hates The Painter. You mentioned how The Nurse likes the Party Girl, when in reality, she actually dislikes her. The Nurse loves The Arms Dealer, likes The Princess and The Wizard, dislikes The Party Girl and The Dryad and hates The Zoologist. In your video, The Angler apparently likes The Pirate and The Stylist, however he doesn’t even mention any of these NPCs. He likes The Princess, The Party Girl, The Demolitist and The Tax Collector while he dislikes The Tavernkeep for treating him like a kid. It also says how The Painter’s preferred neighbours are The Dryad and The Witch Doctor, whilst he does love The Dryad, he also likes The Princess and The Party Girl whilst disliking The Cyborg and The Truffle. The Party Girl, instead of liking The Wizard, The Tavernkeep and The Nurse, actually loves The Wizard and The Zoologist, likes The Princess and The Stylist, dislikes The Merchant and hates The Tax Collector. That’s all I can really be bothered to do, but I hope you get the general idea; even though NPCs like the same biomes, it’s not a given that they’d like each other.

You forgot the Santa NPC

I need help I had only the guide went into the dungeon talked to the mechanic nothing happend (she didn‘t move in ) and after logging in next time the guide was gone and she was in his house (at the time i had only one npc house) why is the guide gone?

So for the truffle NPC I was trying to make a house, but I realized when you made s house for him you were using some sort of like mushroom blocks how did you make those?

Can i ask some question? Are the block and background for npc room are depend to the biome? That important or not?
