Speaking of dreaming dreams are the most highly underrated thing ever. I like that my brain can create fully realistic immersive simulations that are indistinguishable from real life. I also like how we can become lucid within dreams and live out any fantasy as well as the many benefits it provides to pretty much all areas of life. I highly recommend it to everyone

There was one morning I legitimately thought I was going insane. I was having a dream, it was nothing crazy, then I woke up in my bed. Everything was normal, went downstairs and said good morning to my family, made some coffee, then, woke up in bed again. I woke up in bed again and repeated the process, then woke up, again in bed. This happened a handful of times, I lost count, and by the time I woke up for real I didn’t believe I was actually awake for at least 20 minutes

I love how his videos open up new perspectives that people don't normally think of. It gives this sense awe and curiosity, and also opening up the dread to the feeling of everything being completely useless. It's hard to for me to explain, but some complex topics like this, that speak of the existence of everything and the unknown or the questions that interrogate our reality, and if our perception of it is blinded by what's false, puts me in that sense of dread. I guess that what makes me love these topics even more.

Amogh S V wrote, _"Another thing we don't know is how Aperture has only these many subs for such amazing videos."_ Actually, I think we know that well enough :) The masses, if I may be so bold to abstract here, largely fail to appreciately introspection and philsophy. They seem much less interested in *WHY* they do what they do, and far more interested in *'keeping up with the Jones's'* Not everyone, of course. I mean, we're here having this conversation. But, overall, I think it's fair to presume that we're a numerical minority in a world that's mostly hyper-vigilant about ego, consumerism, status, etc. Sometimes at night, when the clouds are few and the stars visible in abundance, I dare to whisper, _"Please... I don't know what I did but whatever it was... I'm sorry... please... come take me home."_ It's a bit tongue-in-cheek, but a very, very little bit indeed.

Ok Appie, ponder me this. Somehow, in some awkward way, we have all forgotten or lost a step, lost our confidence in the one thing we all literally have the most experience in, and that barreling into the unknown future, every second we have been alive. I don't see how comfort isn't found in the unknown. We clearly have spent the most time there. Shake hands with the uncertainty, get reacquainted. You might have forgotten this as well, but the unknown is the only teacher you've ever had. And i for one, am grateful there is still more to learn.

Imo if a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear it, it physically does make a sound, but figuratively doesn’t. The particles in the air vibrate, but because we are the ones that decided those particles vibrating was considered sound, that means we have to be there for it to be considered “sound”

My take on gravity is.. that's it's not a characteristic or add-on feature to question why because its just a natural occurrence. Like every other celestial body other there, its a property of theirs. Strong somewhere and weak somewhere. It should be taken more in a subjective way, we, in general, have a bad habit of keeping ourselves (humans) at the center and then look at the world. Whilst, our existence doesn't change a thing in Universe. To get to the core of the matter, the best technique one can use is "Surrender and Observe" that's when truth and clarity comes in. Just a personal opinion I hold. Great efforts vested in the video btw. Keep up the good work 👍
@Miximinium
@Miximinium Год назад
But our existence, not just ours, but as far as we know, any and all consciousness collapse the wave function. We are the universe experiencing itself. We matter and we are important, if for no reason other than that. That is just as important as anything else on the universe. It just is. What's trippy for me to think about is all the fields discussed in physics. And then realize that the Higgs field, electromagnetism, weak, strong force, etc; those abstract thoughts, all exist and always have, in everything you have or will ever see. They are all around you now. In fact, everything that was or is or ever will be is all around you right now too. That water you drank last? That's more than likely older than the sun. And the Hydrogen in that water? That's as old as the universe itself. It's been here since the first femtosecond.
@krishnasinghrajput7446
@krishnasinghrajput7446 Год назад
@@Miximinium The crux of the comment was to highlight the psychology of the human by using the example of this video. Seems like the water you drank last night made you skip the point i assume. Also, I still stick to the words and the thing is, the more we get ourselves stuck in the already discovered phenomenons, the less we try to focus on the other unknown phenomenons occurring unless desperately looked for or an observance occurring out of pure luck. Getting a deeper knowledge is understandable and is actually good, but nothing is constant. As the point in video suggests, even the decades old Theory of Relativity by Sir Albert Einstein seems to be challenged by new revelations. Because, what we observed and know about already Aren't The Only things out there to consider and explain something. There's more than the eyes meet. Limiting ourselves just to a restricted mindset like above to be indulged in already existing theories makes many opportunities slip out of our hands, a "know it all" sense of ignorance as I observed. Not everything is discovered yet nor it'll be ever in our existence as beings of just cells. So chill out and enjoy the experience.
@nighttrain1565
@nighttrain1565 Год назад
According to the uncertainty and anthropic principles a tree doesn't make a sound if a conscious being isn't there to observe it. The same way events collapse into existence when we look for them like measuring an electron. Schrodinger's cat. Things are there because we are looking for them. The action of measuring effects the measurement itself

Cause and effect is more fundamental than time. Time is more fundamental than gravity. Gravity is just time curving into space. Neutrinos are released ahead of supernova blast wave, but it was assumed that they're released at the same time as energy wave. Neutrinos arrived before light thus the assumption of them being faster than light. Detectors were correct. Initial assumption was wrong. Your observation "changes" the state of matter only because when you make an "observation" photons bounce off of your face and change the state of matter on the quantum level. It doesn't take much energy to do that. Before the "observation" the quantum object is in coherent state.

Keep making these types of videos, your open mindness sets you apart in rationalising things if there is a multiverse with different types of physics imagine what we could do with it

1:55 How do I know? Like in now, at this current moment in time? Then I need to ask: Are you good, or are you evil?

🤔Can I trust you're replay? Do you replay? (probably NOT). Edit: This will make a person go mad if you bring these thoughts to far........ Trust you're feelings you're intuition. Do not doubt everything but also have faith in other people and who you are......................................

"I'm not locked up in here with you; you're all locked up in here with me." -Rorschach. The thing I like thinking about, is the idea that 95% of the 5% of everything that is matter...is interstellar dust.

This video is absolutely great and brought to mind the work of the cognitive neuroscientist Donald Hoffman, who used a computer model to show that evolution shapes our perceptions to show us fitness payoffs rather than objective truth. His theory states that all the laws of physics, space time, objects, everything are like an interface that allows us to interact with reality but not see it, and I agree with him. Could be interesting to see a video on the theory (multimodal user interface theory) someday, would really recommend checking it out :)

I think I enjoy your videos. Therefore, I do. I will say this; it's very difficult not to nod off to your dulcet tones.

Our proposals of what we are heading towards as our advancements of our science seems to drive us and persist us to stay with a flow no matter what we don't know we are forced to remove what ties we had to attend to grow sound mind we once agreed and had total foundation on
