Showing how blatantly they ripped off some of the best moments of the best movies in an effort to be entertaining There really is nothing original these days
To be completely fair...the Greek gods exist as fact in DC, and while I don't remember it exactly I'm fairly sure the Norse ones do as well. Also the DC and marvel universes do canonically exist in each other's multiverses iirc.
The fact that the Star Wars PREQUELS had better fight scenes and VFX than a movie that came out 20 years later is astounding and the movie got a well deserved sin
@@TheCrazyfighter19Say what you will about the prequels those lightsaber scenes were very well done! At least the choreography was intricate and dynamic. The rest was... Meh!
18:43 I rewinded this "No" sin moment too many times. It literally just all 3 of them were doing their best "NO!!!" scream auditions for a casting audition rather than genuine grief.
There is something about Manta's flashback that I like. He called out to Aquaman for help and Aquaman refused. Just telling someone to ask the sea for mercy when you ask for help makes you look like the jerk in that situation. The thing is, it cuts out the most important part of what Aquaman said. "You killed innocent people. You ask the sea for mercy." It could be that he is blaming Aquaman and refusing to look inward at his own responsibility or it could be the evil king manipulating him but either way it's a nice touch. That or I am giving them more credit than they deserve by overanalyzing a simple editing choice.
I find it interesting that Atlantis has clearly advanced technology, with amazing energy production capabilities, far outstripping the surface world, and all whilst producing zero pollution. They then complain about the surface world polluting the oceans, but at no point consider sharing their amazing technology, allowing the surface world to have all that it currently has, with zero pollution, and thus solving the problems of both, the oceans are no longer being polluted and the surface world doesn't have to return to the dark ages to do it.
This is yet another post-Endgame film that I have no interest in watching in full. Such a waste of time. Only bearable through the lens of CinemaSins or Pitch Meeting mockery.
That aquarium is so small. Aquaman keeping 5 goldfish in a 10g tank is some sociopath stuff. A goldfish needs like 30g for the first one alone. He can hear them right? Screaming that they're drowning in filth? 🙃
I spent the second half of the video trying to figure out if the sins were increasing at a fixed rate or in any discernable pattern. By the end of the video, the answer is "I don't know" and I missed all the second half jokes. Thanks cinemasins.
@@CinemaSinsPlease stop partnering with better help. I love your channel but they literally have been found guilty of taking advantage of people with mental illness. A company doesn't get a pass for selling private medical information for profit to facebook while telling their patients they weren't doing that. I have severe mental health issues and the thought of a company selling my information so facebook can better target me is sickening.
Your editing is ON POINT. "Watch this instead" has become a drinking game of dangerous proportions. But the whole ranting about something only to point out it's your damage is the best. And it WAS your Snickers.
I can't even recall the first Black Panther movie... I'm not even trying to insult it: it took me two sittings and I can't recall what happens in it!(the guy regaining his health like in the movie Wanted was cool but otherewise don't ask!)
@@garg4531They got in trouble years ago for selling patient information to companies like facebook without patient consent. In fact, they were outright saying they weren't doing it WHILE doing it. They're the fast food of mental health care. You can get REAL therapy for less.
Ever since the first trailer came out, I was always *deeply disturbed* that Black Manta said he will "Burn his kingdom to Ash". Just the most illogical line of dialogue ever 😂
Look how ridiculously late Hollywood is to realize this! They literally had a movie called "Endgame" and they couldn't figure out that it was time to END the comic book cinematic universe for a while because it was done and there wasn't any compelling stories left to tell, except for some loose ends in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
@@coolioso808 Cope, Marvel wasn't gonna stop if they had so many comics to adapt onscreen! What is THE MCU without the X-MEN AND FANTASTIC FOUR? WEST COAST AVENGERS? THUNDERBOLTS? YOUNG AVENGERS? DARK AVENGERS?
@@JohnSmith-iw1wd LMFAO, no. MCU needed to bring the big boys in one way or another. And if you can't accept that, you have absolutely no right to be a fucking Marvel fan.
Hey CinemaSins, I love your content and i've been watching for years (I also bought and loved Jeremy's book). You have to do better than BetterHelp as a sponsor. Aside from the multiple nightmare client stories of 'BetterHelp' therapists, the FTC investigated and ruled that BetterHelp engaged in 'Deceptive Data Collection' by pushing people to provide information they said was confidential. I love your channel and I hope this is something you were unaware of because sponsoring companies that collect and sell your information, ESPECIALLY under the guise of mental health support, isn't a good look.
@@lumpyduckling3522 Therapy can't make a dent compared to using the outdoors, forests, mountains, lakes, rivers and oceans, even just being outside conversing with real people and total abandonment of social media, there you find the real change mate
Gotta say this is an improvement over the normal cinemasins videos, you should keep the ''You should watch this instead'' and the flashbacks to prior sins videos.
The only time Randall Park dies on screen is in the Interview as President Kim and it is an epic death scene. What director is going to challenge that death scene? It's easier to let his characters live.
The Loki reference & Raimi Spider-Man train sins are of excellent quality - but the Bathman note about Manta's ridiculous out of place grappling hook thing is in a league of it's own 🤣
It's kind of disappointing that you didn't sin "ancient evil is locked away instead of killed" especially when the first king had such an obvious oportunity to actually kill him rather than locking him away in the hopes that, maybe, someone doesnt awaken him.
Also when he comments about the horde of generic mooks the heroes can rip apart, he left out the part where those used to be *people*, innocent people - potentially including children - who got transformed into monsters and are now being slaughtered without a hint of empathy
What really pissed me off about the design in this movie was the architecture. If you are living in the bottom of the ocean, temperature, humidity, wind, are not a thing. The only reason you would need buildings is density, and the only reason you would have walls would be for privacy. Seeing as the ocean is more vast then land on earth by 2 to 1 why the density? If the buildings are only needed for privacy, why is everything built like its ready for WW3!? If this were more legitimately designed the buildings should be more like Japanese tradtitional housing with paper walls, maybe kelp walls?
So considering this is more or less the last DCEU movie, I’m going to head cannon that Aquaman with Atlantis’s technology helped solve most of the worlds problems and then him and the Justice League kick Darkseid’s ass when he finally showed up.
It is quite a shame how this film turned out. Considering that this is the final film in the DCEU and that the first Aquaman movie was quite good. As director, James Wan and star Jason Momoa made Aquaman, who is one of the biggest jokes in the DC Comics universe. And made him be taken seriously.
Yea and half of the movie was filled with unnecessary jokes at the most inconvenient times. It’s like most of these superhero movies nowadays are copying the Guardians of the Galaxy formula and it’s worn out at this point
Manta being SUPER petty about everything is honestly the best thing about the whole story, because comics Manta is also SUUUUPER petty about anything Aquaman. Also Topo being a sassy asshole
Funny thing is that in the french version of the movie, instead of “i’m gonna kill me a dead mermaid” he says “i’m gonna kill the little mermaid” which is way funnier
You really took the time and brain damage to thoroughly sin this movie instead of going, "Aquaman movie, 1 million sins." roll credits. You really do love us....
I would like to request the removal of at least 5 sins for the fact that you can clearly tell some of Amber Terds scenes where reshot with a stand in because they didn’t call her back for reshoots before release 😂

14:20 I thought the statue was there because this island was an old abondened antlantian settlement/factory island. Manta used the old machine in the volcano to burn orichalcum. What really baffled me in this scene is that they are searching for a guy with a SUBMARINE by taking a stroll through the jungle. Like how are they hoping to find a base with a docked submarine up the mountain?
There should be 1 more sin for King Fish - who, while having gills under his arms, still thought he'd suffocate with his head stuck in glass bubble and the water forced out. Just breathe through your gills man.
Revealing my inner super nerd here, but Orichalcum is a metal written about in the myths surrounding Atlantis and other ancient works, it's not a product of DC. (It's also in Elder Scrolls.)
11:30 Marge: We're too late! Sebastian Cobb: I shouldn't have stopped to get that haircut. Sorry. 14:13 Milo: Will you look at the size of this? It's gotta be half a mile high, at least. It-It must have taken hundred- No, thousands of years to carve this thing. [Vinny blows it up, and it falls down over a chasm] Vinny: Hey, look, I made a bridge. It only took me like, what? Ten seconds? Eleven, tops.
