Such a let down still believe the night king bypassing winterfell and destroying kings landing but the army of dead still attack winterfell and atleast half of the lannister army rock up to help at winterfell and have jamie kill the night king turning king slayer into a good title and shoulda knighted sandor clegane and changed his name to stark

But more importantly, why the hell would his name be changed to Stark? As in, why would anyone want that for him, and why would he want it for himself? That’s absurd lol Making Jamie be the one to kill the Night King isn’t a terrible idea, and I do like the idea of it making “Kingslayer” a positive name, but really, the only correct answer to ‘Who should kill the Night King’ is Jon Snow. I love the character arc of Arya, it was my second favorite after Jamie but they fucked that one for absolutely no reason, but her being the one to kill the Night King just came out of nowhere, like they spun a wheel and that’s who they landed on. And it would’ve felt that way for anybody not named Jon Snow.

When you think about it, Aren't Faceless Men servants of the God of Death? Isn't the Night King a Necromancer? Seems kind of fitting for the Being insulting Death with it's actions gets killed by a Servant OF Death.

@@coitze8704 And it is not really the point, either. Whether prince or princess, the person who manages to defeat the Night King should have something to do with that whole plotline. And it is not like there was no time to set it up, either. Arya spent season 7 hanging out at Winterfell pretending to be mad at Sansa when no one was watching, they could have had her join the ridiculous quest beyond the wall, at the very least.

Side note: Sansa's remark about the stark men not doing well in the capitol isn't just about her father. Her grandfather and uncle were murdered in the Red Keep by the mad king. Sure it isn't ever shown on screen, but it absolutely get referenced.

Theon didn't kill the Miller's kids because he thought they were "his adopted brothers" - he knew who they were but he needed to bodies he could pretend were Bran and Rickon simply to save face.

I was one of those who read the books before the show came out. The books are amazing, and so was the show. I can't believe how the show went from being seen as one of the greatest shows ever to a show everyone hated.

From what I gathered, it's worse than just hated. When GoT ended, hardly anyone wanted to hear anything about it anymore. It was like something embarassing from your childhood or some suppressed traumatic experience noone wants to remember. Even so that you get rid of all the stuff related to it. It's still hard to believe how the most popular show on the planet became something everyone wanted to forget it even existed. I'm just glad that most (all?) agree that only D&D is responsible for its downfall, and not the actors, composer, directors, or anyone else affiliated.

@@Xerkrosis yes d&d have blame but I cannot accept a blame without putting George rr Martin in there... this guy had an insane level of control for a book writer and kind if just let them crash and burn without given them any form of weven ground.... I honestly at this point believe he has no idea how he was going to end his story.. and didn't even try even though he had like 15 years to do it.

In 8x04, Varys rejects Tyrion's idea to marry Dany and Jon because they're related and the North won't tolerate it. Tyrion, whose parents were cousins, accepts this, just kinda forgetting that Ned Stark's parents were also cousins.

This is the worst sin video I've seen. So many things wrong. There's no way in hell they've watched it properly. Probably just reading a script. I gave up about 30 mins in when he said there was no reason to like jamie because he was completely self serving.... Not like he saved kings landing or anything.......

Why was the Night King's dragon missing half his jaw and face? Didn't they resurrect him pretty quickly after it took lances to the body and neck? Also, what's wrong with season 8 is that I binged it even after hearing all the reviews. Why would I do that?

We actually don’t know if humans can warg into dragons.. it’s heavily suspected that Bran will do it because he has no problem continually warging into Hodor even though Hodor hates it & tries to stop it & Even though the 3 eyed raven told him not to do it anymore.

Arya stabbing the night king and forever destroying the white walkers which have been built up since the very first scene of this series with a single lunge was NOT cool. It was stupid and an insult to the fans. Arya wasn't even remotely connected to the white walker plot. The idiot writers had that happen just because she's a fan favourite. It's in the top 3 most stupid things to happen in season 8. Actually no, it is the most stupid thing to happen. 1- Arya stabs the white walkers away 2- Bran is chosen to be king 3- Daenarys attacks Kings Landing civilians for no reason

Theon didn't kill those two kids because he thought they were his adopted brothers. He killed those kids so he could burn them and trick everyone else into thinking they were his adopted brothers.

In the show we see 'a' Bear that was turned into a Wight. They also have Wight Horses... I guess it's not in the shows budget, but there's also meant to be Ice Spiders large and hounds among them.

Great catches. Just 2 I would like to correct: In the book of the kingsguard it says 'without loss of life' because their side didn't lose any. Lastly, Drogon and Dany's actions are coordinated because a dragon and its rider are connected mentally. So yeah its not just a show being convenient, Drogon knows what she feels and understands what she says as if they were its own thoughts.

I just finished watching the entire series of Game of Thrones for the 3rd time. My conclusion has & will NEVER change. There is NO comparison, no matter how many dragons that are presented to us in HOD. In the original- the stories, the characters, just EVERYTHING cannot be challenged. Who ever chooses to wipe away what may be THE BEST series EVER, simply due to the series finale, truly was not watching. To say House of the Dragon is better?? I will never understand. Thank-you for all your amazing insights. I will keep watching but I do not believe ANYTHING could EVER change my mind. Tyrion 4 eva🤘

Hiding in the crypt honestly isn’t the bad idea it’s amde out to be. The most recent body interned there was Lyanna Stark about 20 years earlier. Even if you assume they have a practice of extensively embalming their dead, which is a huge stretch as GoT is largely based on/set in a version of late medieval England, her corpse would still be heavily decomposed. There might be one or two heavily decomposed corpses that can barely move but the rest would be fully decomposed. Also, at no point does it show that the dead have super human strength or are any stronger than they were when they were alive so how the hell are they able to break out of thick solid stone sarcophagi? Another sin. She gives her speech in Valyrian and the Dothraki respond as if they understand what she’s saying. Has she been teaching the entire Dothraki horde Valyrian? When did she have time to do that? No one else in her entourage can speak valyrian except Varys. Did she recruit a small army of language tutors?

This battle is the reverse of everything you should do in a medieval war. Especially against zombies. 1) attack them during the day if you have cavalry. 2) attack them during the day if you have dragons. 3) don't sally out at night from the direction of your fort. There's literally a hundred directions where you can charge and pincer them. 4) Stay behind your walls.
