I Hope you Enjoy this fun little Response Video. In no way is it meant to offend Gaming Sins, the people behind it, or the fans who watch it. It's just a Fun opposition made for Comedic purposes. So, please enjoy! While I did debunk around 90% of these sins, I also agree with a few and give credit where credit is due.
You know. .I really do believe that you should make this a series if you get the time. Good job. This video alone made me want to read more into the lore of MK. Plus, it's funny to see someone go in for once.
*Ya* *Like* *Jazz* functional they maybe Baraka only has his blades what else is there towords his other variations Rain could possibly have other variations but to make it work would be difficult
LilAsianBoiアジアン honestly yeah your right but for some reason the mobile reason got it great, they have mortal Kombat 9 baraka but I understand about rain making different types with different moves
Yet in mkx people can get stabbed through the lungs, have their skull caved in (usually in a QTE), and shrug that shit off. Poor guys shoulda waited until the TF2 medigun was put into comercial use ig lol
Pepsi i mean sindel prolly crushed her fist into his face and broke his skull plus Stryker is an average cop while i do agree with jax he shouldn’t have died from a mortal wound
When he was critiquing GamingSins dlc part of the video, I felt like most of his points were just saying you need a lot people to make a skin, and how this price is fair, it takes a lot of work to make a functional character, etc. Though while true, it's still crazy that you only get 4 characters for half the price of the game. Edit: I know this comment is really late, but I just saw this video
Basically it's a character for 7 dollars, which is really not a bad deal. Taking into account the effort that goes into and the people that have to work on just a single character 7 dollars is a perfectly good deal, it's just that a game (Which requires even more work in the end) is an even better deal. But just because one (the game) is a better deal than the other one (the DLC character) doesn't mean the lesser deal is a "bad" deal. There can be two independently good things
A really good deal is what if the characters had come all in the game. Db raging blast 2 bring twice the characters of FighterZ. And RG2 didnt died without money for food. This microtransactions is basicly bullshit
@@danieldmw no, 30$ for 4% of the game isn't a good deal dude, since that's HALF. THE. PRICE. Of the game if you bought it day one. If you bought both kombat packs that would be 120$ DOWN. THE. DRAIN.
To add to this late comment even later, if he thinks those characters were not already fully ready to go when the game released he's crazy. It's not some spur of the moment decision to add a character pack to a game.
The reason why Johnny Cage didn't shadow kick Scorpion is because if he did it Scorpion could just teleport away so a command grab would be harder to escape from
TrueUnderDawgGaming true I'm super happy you made this video you have some fantastic points I think the only reason scorpion is kinda weak at this point is that nether realm haven't completely finished what they have wanted to do with scorpion and sub zero
TrueUnderDawgGaming XD True, but I'm mostly referring to the way Deadly Alliance and Deception did it. You'd start out with say, half the characters unlocked, and the other half locked. You'd have to earn the characters somehow whether you bought them from the Krypt, or found them in Konquest mode. I dunno, I just miss when it was like that. It extended the lifespan of the game imo. Mortal Kombat X is still a blast to play, but I still prefer Deadly Alliance and Deception overall. I just found them more enjoyable.
I get what you mean. The reason characters aren't locked anymore is because of competitive tournaments and Esports. Characters that have to be unlocked are typically banned at the start of a game's release because not everyone has access to them day 1. This is the same reason DLC characters are banned for the first week (or 2 weeks) that they are out. Players don't have enough time to learn the match-up. That's why (sadly) the days of unlockable characters is gone. Thankfully, we still have costumes to unlock (as well as fatalities and brutalities).
TrueUnderDawgGaming Ah, okay. Well that makes sense. Yeah, that's true. Good thing we still have the alternate costumes to unlock at least. As long as the game is good, I guess that's all that matters in the end. Kind of another topic altogether, but who do you think will be the villain in MK11 and why? I've seen a lot of peoples' speculations, but I'm curious as to what you think.
The goro one is actually 100% unjustified. He was completely playable at launch so no extra work had to happen in order for him to be available for people. The costumes and added dlc later on had to cost money in order to justify the work someone put into it but since goro was already there it isn't okay to charge someone extra for him. MK11 had the same issue with Shao Kahn, it's a finished character so why take him out of the game? That is the most shameless and greedy thing done in MK X and 11 in my opinion.
With Shao Kahn you don't even get him with the ultimate edition, you have to buy him separate. Pissed me off. I'm not sure about Goro because I preordered it but I'm guessing it was the same for him.
That’s just life. People have to get paid. Otherwise, you get a situation like what we had lately. You’re not required to buy anything you don’t want. And eventually most times they do a sell after a long time. Making them even cheaper. So I don’t see the argument here. Seems like it’s just simply a matter of patiences. What’s wrong with rewarding loyal fans I don’t get it.
ahem its 5 bucks for what was a preorder bonus if you want to complain about goro then complain about New Vegas' courier stash DLC which is the PRE-ORDER BONUSES put into to DLC (for roughly gasp 5 bucks) it's literally the exact same fucking thing now the digital version of new vegas (due to it's age) is 10 bucks for all DLC
“Money grabbing companies make better games” Well you heard it hear first folks apparently EA makes games better than say Shovel knight or Holow knight
@@sebastianfeuerstein9306 let’s also not forget that the whole reason companies like EA have been branded as being “money grubbing” is because their most recent games have been trash. What he said is literally not true.
My problem with the QTEs in MKX's story isn't that you can't fail them it's that failing them yields no consequences and therefore is utterly pointless. I'm not even saying you should die if you fail them but imagine this scenario, IF you fail a QTE during the next fight your character loses a small amount of health for each QTE failed and your opponent lost a small amount of health for each QTE passed. This would make the QTEs actually feel like they meant something instead of just sitting and watching the scene play out waiting for the fight to start since you know the QTEs don't really matter. I dunno maybe that's just me but I feel like if a game is going to have QTEs they should at LEAST make a difference.
@@gaysiegelord he clearly said the problem is they don't make any difference at all. And the guy in this video seems to think that gamers are retarded and they won't pay attention to cut scenes unless you put quick time events in them. This is just not true. There's tons of games with incredibly long cutscenes that are even longer than movies like final fantasy and people watch that shit. And the developers themselves didn't think those QuickTime events were so good because they removed them in the next game. The closest thing they have to that in MK 11 is just choosing which person you want to use to fight at the end of the cutscene. Make the cutscene itself good and this will hold weight, quick time events is bullshit to polish a turd. There's just no way a cutscene could be great and then people would be like man I wish this had quick time events in it. Just make good cutscenes and leave it at that.
As much as I disagree with Gaming Sins on some of these, he actually isn't wrong about questioning why the soldiers are acting as if all this supernatural stuff is new because within the second half of the story in MK9, Shao Khan does try invading Earthrealm with military trying to fend off Shao Khan's army.
EA locked me out of my account permanently for no reason. I always had an issue logging in when I had my stuff written down and never changed it. They always fucked me over somehow 😭
11:54 He's never heard of the Jinsei because this is the first time it's mentioned. It hasn't ever been brought up prior to Mortal Kombat X. Literally no other games have ever mentioned the term "Jinsei."
Skullbones 98 uh.. it takes next to nothing to make a video. Especially when next to none of the footage is his, so he doesn’t even need to record or have recording equipment. A microphone + editing software (which he already has) is no large cost. The amount of midrolls times the amount of views means he probably made a couple of grand off this video, and it’s one of two parts. Bullshit is it making ends meet. He is just greedy.
Well, QTE’s actually meant something. On the first try of the fight after the QTE you got less health for each failed part of QTE. I think it’s awesome.
This is a pet peeve of mine, so I will say regarding the "read the comic" defense. A rule of thumb in storytelling: the story should be able to stand on its own in the medium it's in. So if I have to read a book for the plot of a movie to make sense, the movie fails in its job of telling a story. This game fails in storytelling because I shouldn't have to read the comic to know how Mileena got the amulet, which is a plot point in the game.
Fucking thank you. I hate that shit if I have to read so and so to understand so and so to me it's just lazy. I shouldn't have to spend more money to understand a story I spent lots of money to get.
Agreed. I have one friend who is annoying af about devouring all of the media in the correct order. One moment he's enjoying a movie, but when he finds out it is a sequel he gets all whiny
Would you rather it be the 90's where we get like 20 different street fighter 2 or an ultimate version of mk3 that you can't upgrade from the vanilla? There is bad DLC I'm not arguing that bilit theres also great DLC that can enhance a games life by years. But you enjoy being a dinosaur and buying a whole new game just for an upgrade.
4:48 And here we are in 2020 with "The Culling: Origins" charging you for every match after the first one in a day, or subscribing. It's like they saw Guitar Hero Live and said "Yeah, that'll do!"
i respectfully disagree with your counter arguments up to 8:14. if they are selling (29?) characters and 12 stages a storymode, online capabilities, tower modes etc for 60$, why on earth should 4 characters ALONE be half the price of an entire finished AAA game? at most if you ignored all other aspects of the game besides the character count then each character accounts for roughly more than 2 dollars each (60$/29characters). So 4 characters should be more than 8 dollars at least. I would be fine rounding high and paying 10$. i think 10$ is fair based on that math, but i will even say since its so long after launch that i would say 15$ is fair. But once you get into 20$ and up territory it makes no sense mathematically. Why should 8% of characters (the 4dlc) cost 50% of the entire games cost which doesnt even begin to include the cost of stages, the animation of additional cut scenes for the story mode etc. It just doesnt add up to be a fair percentage of the cost of content percentage to total game cost. if you read this, and if you did make it through that wall of text know that i still enjoy your content and that i think mk is frikken awesome.
a few counters that I have so here's some of them. counter 1 : The whole goro thing is agreeable with me, See in fighting games (and in competitive players) You need the whole roster, even if you don't plan on playing them, you WILL have to fight them to know what's safe and unsafe because you are at some point going to get hit by their moves. Locking one behind a pre-order pay wall with no way to unlock them in game, is a poor move. This also goes for weapons in shooters and power boosters in MMORPGs that are F2P. It brakes or at least harms the balancing of the game even if it's short term. (also look at sfxTk) counter 2 : Yeah no, this kind of undermines what you said about 3d rendering being something that should be funded, because one, the skins are free and two playing a side game to unlock something in the main game isn't a bad idea however when it's for a whole new system, then that's dumb. I love kingdom hearts, I played everyone of them but the cell phone games and even I asked myself "why did I have to buy a ps2, game boy advance, Nintendo DS, 3ds, cellphone (for a game that can't be played) then if I wanted to play the games that hit the game boy advance, Nintendo ds and 3ds I have to buy kingdom hearts 1.5 and 2.5 disks for ps3 or the 1.5 + 2.5 Remake, remake disk for the ps4 along with 2.8 because it has a cannon game kingdom heart brith by sleep 0.5 fragment passage witch leads into kingdom hearts 3 along with the game Dream Drop Distance witch didn't come out on the 2.5 nor the 1.5+2.5 disks." and the crazy thing is all of that was to follow the plot of kingdom hearts, and we still getting another game, so yeah having the skins unlockable on mkx would have been better. Counter 3 : Faction war was unneeded, also it didn't add much, could have spent that on other things to develop Counter 4 : Raiden could have just picked them up. Counter 5 : the books shouldn't be needed to follow the story of the games, the books should enhance the game's story. not be a requirement.
I totally agree with Counter 5 that is what ruined The Matrix for me the fact that not only did you have to watch the movies but you had to play the games, read the comics, and watch the short animations to even understand the story so I find it incredibly stupid that you have to read a comic to understand a story in a game that flings around in the timeline
That's not even adding that Dominic Cianciolo, the story director of the series and has been around since Midway did MK vs DC, tweeted in 2020 that the comics are NOT canon, so what's supposed to fill in the blanks between MK9 and MKX isn't there anymore.
You don’t have to defend EVERY sin because some of them are actually right, you attempted to defend valid criticisms (the few there were I’m aware of gaming sins) and just looked worse. You missed the point.
+Lemur Dawid I don't think that he did. He doesn't understand the development pipe-line and just wants his game content for free. And if there's any optional micro-transactions that don't harm the game in any way, then he still considers it a sin. Even though it just helps the game without hurting it.
"I don't understand this argument that pre-orders ruin games..." Well let me break it down for you also as someone who has been to college for animation and game design with texturing, modeling, rigging, animating, programming, and so on. When you pre-order a game, you are telling the developer that you will be paying for the game, even if they haven't completed it yet. The more people that pre-order, the less pressure there is on the developer to completely polish their games. If you want to know why there's a decline in gaming quality since the late 90's/early 2000's, it's because pre-orders have stunted the development process. When your game was judged on its gameplay alone, it needed to stand up on its quality. If, however, they've already put out a good game and have hooked players into the franchise, they no longer need to innovate or improve. In fact, it discourages change and advancement because the developer will focus on giving you what you're paying for, which is essentially the sketchy promis that their next game will at least be as good as their last game. All the developer has to do is take what already has and disguise it as something new and anything else is essentially a bonus for the market. Mass Effect 3 is widely regarded as the worst of the Mass Effect series because they didn't take a single risk and gave us Mass Effect 2 with with some fancy new QoL changes. The story is bland, the ending was generic, the gameplay was the same, etc. For example, let's say you like a company that has put out 2 of your favorite puzzles. When they tell you they're coming out with a 3rd and you tell them you WILL pay for it, they honestly don't have to do anything. All they have to do is stamp a new picture on the puzzle and ship it out. They don't need to add pieces or make the pieces more challenging to fit together, or they can even "forget" to add in a few pieces and as long as you don't ask for a refund, they come out ahead. If you DIDN'T tell them you would automatically be paying for it, first and foremost they would be forced not to "forget" pieces because the reviews will hurt sales. They might try different piece arrangements or making multiple pictures with one puzzle because the reviews will show that this puzzle isn't the same puzzle with just a different picture stamped on it and it's worth buying. Sure, games are acceptable now, but we will never know what we truly could have gotten if pre-orders weren't a thing. Now you may be saying that it's an unfair pressure to put on developers, but thats the name of the game when it comes to innovating art. You can't just pump out the same stuff and expect people to drool over it each and every time. MKx and MK 11 had mediocre stories that were half told on other media. Why? Because they had enough pre-orders to say "we probably don't need to include the whole story. People have already payed for it and if they want to understand it 100%, they can buy the comic we will also produce and make money off of." Pre-order puts the power of the market in thr developers hands instead of that of the buyer. You are willingly handing over your market power for small, trivial bonuses that anyone else can get later or through other markets. ESPECIALLY now a days when physical copies do not limit sales and we have digital downloads. It may sound stupid to you, but you are literally ruining it and lowering the overall quality of games for everyone else because you need your little bonuses and trinkets. I plead with anyone who thinks pre-ordering is a sound market practice to cease. Your selfishness is ruining the the free market of video games. It's is not how a consumer controlled market is supposed to work and it doesn't work. All we have now that we will be receiving a quality product is the word of the developer and those have been regularly either inflated or downright false. If they didn't already have preliminary numbers on the amount of people they can count on to purchase their product, they would put out the best game they could because it sales rely on other people saying the game is worth purchasing instead of them already having a guaranteed list of people they can count on to purchase it, regardless of quality.
Scorpion was a ninja from one of the most powerful clans of all time and lost to Sub-Zero. He was able to hold off against Sub-Zero for some time with no powers, and then got Hellfire powers, and you act like he has no skill or powers
Josh Bennett Hanzo Hashi before he was killed to become a Hellspawn eventually was just a normal ninja is what that one RU-vidr was trying to point out.
May I remind you fortnite is a completely different game and skins serve a different purpose there than here. On fortnite you get an actual skin while here its just a costume
All he does is kill people and then a new evil rises and he’s like “Well, shit.” Kills 1st Sub-Zero, 1st Sub-Zero’s soul is corrupted into Noob Saibot, kills Quan Chi, Shinnok comes out of Amulet and nearly kills all of Earthrealm.
Keknov When in the fuck did I say he was a weak character, bud. All I said was he kills people and then a new evil rises for Earthrealm and he regrets it.
Also what? Reiko on blood Magic wasn’t killed by Scorpion, he was basically killed by Havik. Reiko started to kill Kotal Khan’s and Mileena’s armies and then he tried to kill Havik but Havik’s divine plan made Reiko get killed and “It’s tearing me apart!” And then Reiko was used to get Shinnok’s amulet. Where do you think Scorpion killed him? Are you talking about Hsu Hao???
1. At the very least, if you couldn't die by failing the QTEs, you could've at least gotten a loss of health just like they did in Injustice. It only makes sense. 2. Raiden clearly possessed the power to heal wounds with his powers when he heals Jax after Sonya frees him. At the very least, his powers could've saved Liu Kang and Kitana before they died. Just making note of some stuff.
Sidar Erdem Again, I state, it would get him in a more stable condition. He'd still be very much under the threat of death, but his wounds would be less fatal.
Sidar Erdem Firstly, the phrase is 2 and 2. Secondly, I mean facts from the developers. Not just stuff from your word. That's very much irrelevant. You can find something from the developers that put limits on how much Raiden can heal, and you have won this argument. If you have no facts, then my analysis on what happen could be just as true as yours.
I think the problem with the 5 dollar easy fatality packs is that the full game (physics, graphics, story, voice acting, distribution, marketing, etc.) costs 60 dollars... having the full game be valued by the publishers at an amount equal to 12 packs is a hard pill to swallow.
How do you have the audacity to call his arguments BS yet almost all of your arguments are well this thing might be bad but there are worst thing they could have done so the bad thing actually not that bad🤷🏽♂️
The reason why revenants can be reverted in their revenant body was simple in my opinion. Imagine the form is what corrupts the soul and as a character dies the soul becomes trapped in this new form in my eyes all you need to do is purify the form and the soul can take charge of its own body once more. Almost like taking a sim card out and putting it in a new phone i think the revenants are merely shells holding the soul and thus the power of the character which also explains why the revenant is weaker due to the corrupted body however if its possible to house the soul in a new evil body then its possible to do the opposite and rid the carrier of the corruption. I think i explained this okay apologies if i didn’t
David Vargas Either the Elder Gods pulled a Fantastic Beasts and wiped everyone's memories via some magic event, or the people of earth decided that the whole invasion was just "fake news"
"Gamers are spoiled nowadays" Well, We did use to work hard to get the full experience of the game and now if we want to do that we have to pay the studios extra money, So ...
0:31 "It's just a friendly opposition that was made for comedic purposes. That also being said, I'm about to debunk this shit hard." As GCN once said: "The inconsistency levels are beyond astronomical"
3:29 "A pre-order bonus is also free, you're just spending five dollars in advance, it's not five dollars on top of the game's price." I know this video is seven, almost eight, years old by the time I'm writing this comment, and there's a good chance you're viewpoints have changed since this video has been made, but that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
I think he is and when he said that Tanya is not fully functional there not playable well he was wrong. It is just Rain who will never be a playable especially since Mortal Kombat XL is voming out which has all th dlc
Deadpoolrockz6 Well Tanya is funcionable. It’s the story mode Tanya because it dosent have a variation. Also they are different people because one is white and one is black. So the Tanya in story mode isn’t functionable. And when he made the video Tanya was already available he knew what he was talking about. Next time see the full video
"I want the ending like in MK9 where Liu Kang becomes the new protector of Earthrealm." Well, dude, Netherrealm granted your wish with Mk11 story mode. Now say thank you.
TurtleGod, clichés can be good depending on the writer that’s writing a story because no story is without over used tropes because it’s been that way since Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome.
"When has Scorpion done anything impressive?" Let's see, he fought a superpowered Sub Zero with a Kamidogou which is literally one piece of the One Being (stronger than the Elder Gods) and won, then proceeded to nearly kill a superpowered Raiden (who's literally stronger than more than half of the cast) who also had the dreaded Kamidogou, also killed Havik, killed Quan Chi (most powerful sorcerer in the Netherrealm) oh and he became the Elder God's champion, I'd say he's pretty impressive...
When did he defeat Raiden????? And he only killed quan chi cuz he was tied up and weak. But of course you could use the argument from deadly alliance that Quan chi was running away from him from the netherrealm
Love the video. Just one thing. You talk about how Kano should be dead in 10 seconds due to fighting Kotal Kahn. Then, you call Kotal a fraud and how he’s not all that badass.
I'm watching the vid and just paused it to say, sub zero freezing them then they shattered was something on the TV program called mortal kombat conquest. With a C yes lol
16:20 Programmer here. No, it really isn't. It's more like 10 minutes of setting up an input map and some events, mostly by copying and pasting it from another character that you've already made.
Don't you need the extra variations for other move sets since characters have 3 move sets and plus you need to do voice acting and get the actors for every other character to do extra voice acting for the intros to
You gotta remember with Sindel that she was resurrected theough Quan Chi's magic as a revenant, and was the sole reason Shao Khan couldnt invade earthrealm. So before ressurection she was actually Raidens friend
Thank you for understanding the work it takes to draft, model and rig these alternate costumes. People have a misconception of how long it takes and how much labor it takes to create.
I still shouldn’t be paying HALF THE PRICE OF THE FULL GAME for an extra 7% of the game. Not only that but ain’t no way you can convince me that I should be paying that much extra for established MK characters. Maybe for guest characters but even then, $30?! They made waaaaaay more money than it took to build the game. They aren’t hurting that much that I have to pay $120 to fully experience a $60 game.
@@Dctctx the base game made more than enough to pay those people. Don’t need to charge a full game’s price in order to pay them either. The dlc characters don’t even take the same effort it takes to make the base game
It's like putting ice in hot water: The ice melts because of the hot water, but the water also cools down as the ice melts. The result: the temperature of the water is neutral. It is neither hot nor cold. That is what he was saying happened to Johnny.
@@mercilesslymugentenshin8651 it’s not canceling each other. It would be different if they were hitting both sides but scorpion and subzero are hitting each side of Johnny cage. He would be freezing on one arm and burning on the other.
4:10 I believe the reason behind the scorpion and subzero having the same outfits is more of an Easter egg from the first mortal Kombat, I personally love the fact that they added that
14:20 A better reason is for Johnny Cage to assure Scorpion's fall, since if Johnny just kicked him, Scorpion would have used his harpoon or could have grabbed to the helicopter.
The whole scene is fucked. Y'know how Kenshi sent Sub-Zero flying out of the copter? Why didn't he just immediately do the same thing to Scorpion? Better yet, why didn't he just do that in the first place?
$30 for only 4 new characters is fair? Yeah, it's totally fair compared to the amount of characters you get for paying $60 for the game itself, which is over 25 different characters new and old. I don't know about you but at the most they should be $20, and at the least a fair price would be around $12 or so. To me, saying $30 is fair for characters is like saying paying $60 for base game is worth only 8 characters
Lmao did you not learn anything in economics, There is no such thing as a free lunch, everything comes at a cost therefore the prices are fair you punani
They had go get the rights to the character then make a move list the hire people to actually make the characters designs so it really isn't that bad plus they are outside the game and they had to include them later
The DLC is subsidizing the base game. It's this way with all games. If they were to charge proportional prices, the vanilla games themselves would be $70-80. But gamers bitch and moan each new gen as the games take more and more to make but don't raise the price above $59.99! This is what you get.
If you’re a PC player, Steam literally has sales all the time. I got a Mortal Kombat Pack for 10 bucks. Edit: XL is literally 9 bucks during the Chinese New Year sale.
I still agree with the Sins video more, the sins video is basically acting as if it was coming from someone who know little about Mortal Kombat, being the casual players. Not from somone who has done their research Is a fan of multiple fighting games, has played every Mortal Kombat and beat all of them, and understands all the lore.
Says gaming sins are meant for comedic and sarcastic entertainment, precedes to go through every joke and pick them apart as if it’s not meant to be comedic and sarcastic entertainment
Ah hm EA Activision square enix WB games king games the ones who make the candy crush games Ubisoft rockstar games nowadays are you getting annoyed yet good cause I'm annoyed with stupid microtransactions
5 dollars for 1 character 30 dollars for 4 characters then u say all the stuff like hiring modellers and stuff but it's a 60 dollar game straight away then 30 more dollars for characters ik that u can just get xl for all of the stuff but... 30 dollars for 4 characters , 4 .... 4 I'm from Britain so I'm not sure how dollars are different to pounds but I do know 30 bucks is a bit too much
Yeah its half the game for 4 characters. You don't need to really know dollars to understand why that is a bit to much. Honestly I love MK but I don't regret waiting THIS long to get XL lol
@Scorpion the ninja from hell Optional or not, it's still doesn't make sense. Pay $5 for one character, then pay $30 for 4 characters. That's just WB Games' greed.
Pre orders are almost always a good amount more expensive than bugging the have post release. Also, buying a game before you know it's good or not is absurdly stupid
Dude did you just seriously say that Scorpion is weak? Are you serious? He is like as strong as sub zero. Scorpion’ clan and sub zero’ s clan have been fighting for a long time. If scorpion is that weak he would have got killed by sub zero so easily in the first place.
He was beaten by Bi Han 3 times before finally winning. He has since lost every fight to Kuai Liang as well. I understand that both their clans are evenly matched, but Sub Zero is in a tier all his own. He actually killed all the cyber Lin Kue by himself in the comics.
@@tf2noob781 Skins, for 10 additional dollars... is this is some kind of joke? Blizzard can make many additional skins for heroes that you can get for FREE, by opening the chests every time you level up.
I said that $5 for an MKX character is fair since you get 3 different variations. That is like getting Ryu, Ken, and Akuma for $5. They are similar, but have a couple different moves.
TrueUnderDawgGaming I get what you're saying but that's a pretty poor example since those three are always in the game for free. (Except for Akuma in SFV)
What do you mean they are in the game for free? SF has never offered variations for each character. They just have clone characters. That is not the same thing. For SF to be like MKX, that would mean Ryu, Ken, Akuma, and so on would all have 3 playstyles each.
TrueUnderDawgGaming "Clone characters" that play differently from each other. I get what you meant when you said that an MKX character is like putting Ryu, Ken, and Akuma in one character. I was saying that, that is a semi poor example since each character is not only free in each game but also has their own play style while in MKX, there are variations but almost little changes in play style. Take Scorpion for example, before you could use his swords, fireball, and burn people at a distance in MK9 but in MKX, they made it so you have to pick which one you'd like to use. Either the ability to use your swords, or the ability to attack from a distance. That way of doing the characters is creative but also makes more work for the devs and such.
TrueUnderDawgGaming so, $5 for a character is good, so wouldn't that make $30 for four characters bad? Since it should be $20? And don't bring up the skins. $10 for a few skins is complete crap.
Whether they are serious or not, defending these money-grabbing business practices are bad defenses back up with poor and generalized excuses. Someone exposed all of you bad points already.
i agree more with cinema sins, revanent doesnt excuse massive power drop, also mileena died, to a completely new character??? and kitana wasnt even touched on in the story, and they dropped the coolest of the new characters in MK XI and dropped reptile ...
To be fair, I feel the same about *most* of the games in the franchise. The only ones I really enjoy are the ones that tell the main story of the franchise
First couple of minutes of the video was this man bitching about the prices and dlcs, what do you want him to say. If he is an animator then he would understand how difficult it is so he would bring it up because of experience
