The fact that the scene where tom cruise holds onto the planes door while it takes off is 100% practical and no stunt doubles were used makes the sins off completely worth it

This was such a refreshing spy movie. Glad to see some sins taken off for the stunning action sequences and for Tom Cruise being awesome.

Rogue Nation is still my favorite of the series. That underwater scene was amazing.

I was surprised by just how satisfying the last scene with Lane in the box felt.

For me this had the best aspects of every MI film. Perfect contrast.

As someone who works as a security guard, the cliché of guards ignoring glitches in monitors is 100% legit. CCTV software is hardly ever working properly, so bugs and glitches and outages are commonplace.

Think you might have missed one. When Ilsa saved Hunt from drowning, she used an AED to bring him back to life. Not sure using an electrical device on a soaking wet victim is the best idea here. Ethan should have been more than a little crispy.

I would take off three sins: 1. that is not a grassy knoll it is a hanger with grass on top. 2. Microsoft was a sponsor as to why Benji had Halo 5 before anyone else. 3. That was not a iPad, it was a Surface Pro. Cinema Sins is slipping.

Loved the part when they showed halo 5, as a halo fan when I watched that part I was completely caught off guard and in awe! I tried telling everyone next to me what just happened and I couldn't contain myself..

One of my favorite parts of this series has always been the lack of firearms in the hands of the protagonists, it helps facilitate much more creative action scenes than we typically get in spy movies.

Ok I just watched this movie and watched James Bond Spectre last night. I gotta say Spectre was freaking terrible so I was somehow expecting this to be just as bad but nope this movie was awesome WAAAY better then Spectre despite them having damn near identical plots. I especially enjoyed how Ethan caught Lane in a glass box that shit was hilarious.

This is one of the only movies I’ve seen where the villan has a plan that accounts for MULTIPLE POSSIBILITIES. Not that it entirely makes sense, but just by considering more than one possibility, it is 10 times better than most villain plans.

Try finding everything wrong with the shawshank redemption. I DARE YOU.

In general, I highly appreciate CinemaSins, they help me understand what to avoid and what I can't avoid when creating my own stories.

Does this movie hold the most sin reductions for all EWW videos, or is it just me? Edit: To those saying Interstellar, it matches this move for most sins reduced. However, 5 of those sins are ones that should not have been in the first place, but I digress. So this movie, does indeed, have the most sins removed, alongside interstellar...kind of.

The movie clearly shows Ilsa check the sheet music of the opera and sees the exact note she will use to help cover her shot. That's why she is waiting.

I thought that plane scene in the beginning deserved 15 sins taken off, because Tom did that multiple times to get the right shot for this.

Went to this movie by accident and ended up being one of my favourite movies of 2015. No BS action, smart humour and Tom Cruise kicking ass! 9/10 would recommend :-)

Honestly, I was hoping Ilsa and Ethan would get together at the end and this whole thing would be a prequel to a bad-ass reboot of Spy Kids...

the chase sequence is 50 sins worth and here's why: The chase is supposed to take place in Casablanca. but somehow it ended up in Rabat and then they get back to Casablanca in less than 3 minutes.So for someone who doesn't know anything about Morocco, it's not a big deal. But for a Moroccan this is really ridiculous because those cities are 85.9 Km ( 53 Miles ) far from each other and it would take at least 1 hour to get from Rabat to Casablanca.

What about Ethan knocking over that glass cube? It's bullet proof it should weigh a LOT!

Another good one that happens a lot is some character will shoot gun in an enclosed space and there is no ricochet. This was an excellent example.

Has a computer connected to your tires via an open Bluetooth connection that can be scanned for and accessed with no credentials, no key, and nothing else. Effectively, your ignition is encrypted. Everything else? Can be accessed alongside you on the highway from a laptop. Doesn't seem so stupid now, does it.

I didn't think this movie was as great as everyone made it seem. It wasn't bad and a good movie in the series but I don't think there was anything memorable about it. Doesn't even remotely hold a candle to Ghost Protocol. Now that movie was pretty spectacular.

You forgot to sin the fact that Lane was able to debit the account that Ethan gave him when he was talking to him through Benji, in a matter of seconds. Those transactions that work by debiting an account based on it's routing and account number (known as "ACH payments") take at least a matter of hours. (If it were a debit card, that would be a different story.)
