Missed sin: No matter how much blood Sister Irene spat out, there would be a slight amount left in or on her mouth when Frenchie gave her the kiss of life and should have expelled the demon in him, regardless of her being in the water.

MC King • I agree, when I watch scary movies, I always turn down the volume because of the dramatic loud bangs of sound affects. They scare the shit out of me, and the jump scares are also scary when the volume is high. That’s why my volume is just hearable but nothing higher. Or I might have a heart attack.🤧😭😅

One more sin - Lighting a lighter when you are burried alive is the biggest mistake there can ever be. You have limited oxygen in the casket which can last you about 5 minutes and the fire will exhaust that in no time.

You should have given 6 sins for each time that the visual hints to Valak's name appears thru the video. The periodic table in the classroom and two chairs shaped as a V with Valak being spelt going upwards, the license plate spelling Valak with the numbers removed, etc

I have to note that in 1952, Romania was under the tight control of the USSR. There is no way the Bolsheviks, during the Cold War, would have let two agents of the Vatican simply go somewhere in their territory, at least not without supervision.

Eldaxerus Kalocraw and the official state religion was atheism, so the KGB would be all over some random Vatican officials trying to learn about a string of deaths in a CLOSED COUNTRY that, like North Korea, revealed nothing that was going on inside of it. In fact, how would the Vatican even find out?! I doubt the Party would approve that as the reputation of the USSR (especially under Stalin) most definitely would not be allowed to be tainted.

@@Jon-su5my Indeed. Stalin was still alive at this point in time, and he despised the Vatican, so it doesn't make any sense. The Soviet officials would have either covered this case up and pretended that nothing was wrong, or sent the army to burn everything to the ground, just to make sure. But no way they would have let the Vatican get involved into it.

@@AndrejBk Honestly, the Vatican shouldn't even have heard of it in the first place. It means that someone managed either to somehow contact the Vatican despite the Soviets tight control over all means of communications, or actually managed to go all the way from Romania to the Vatican despite the Iron Curtain. Nothing makes sense.

I personally don't think the spirits of all the already dead nuns that Irene met and talked to was visions created by Valak, I think it was her own visions/the spirits of the dead nuns showing themselves to her to help her out. As you said why would Valak help her along the way to defeat her (him? her? it?). Of course I don't know for shure since I didn't create this movie but I'd like to think that :)

Two tings 1: If Frenchie was the target then why couldn’t have Valak possessed him earlier, maybe would’ve been a cool twist to find out that he was possessed the whole time 2: I think this movie would have been better in the prologue setting, with all the nuns praying for their life in Romania and trying to seal away the evil, could’ve been cool character development to see them all argue which fucking one of them was doing all the fuckery, only to find out it’s actually none of them or something. I don’t study like film or anything, just would’ve been a bit more interesting in my opinion

Something you missed: Frenchy who lives in Romania and is French-Canadian talks to strangers in English automatically before even knowing where they are from. And on a door in a remote Romanian castle it says "Deliveries" in English. Hope the sisters understood what they were writing.

the 105th sin: I saw this on czsworld, but apparantly the nun took the form of a nun for sister irene because she hadn't taken her vows yet. The demon was the form of a boy for the guy, so the nun takes the form of whatever the seer hasnt overcome. That's why she could defeat him later, she took her vows and his form no longer effected her. Thought it was an interesting analysis

I was making a comment about film directors and their failure to base their movie about Catholicism in actual Catholic beliefs. And while yes, there is no direct evidence supporting the existence of God, there also is no way to disprove His existence either. That’s why it’s called “faith”, as all religion is a belief rather than something that is known as a fact. In any case, from your sudden accusatory stance in response to a lighthearted criticism of this film, I was under the impression that something had left you embittered towards organized religion as a whole. If I was mistaken, I apologize. But please show respect towards the beliefs of others even if they don’t coincide with your own. Have a happy Easter.
