Everything You Need for Great FOCUS and EXPOSURE in Protake 

This video focuses on Protake Visual Analytics and will show you how to properly expose video and find the correct exposure for the Protake app so that you get better video exposure. We’ll also look at how to ‘focus pull’ with Protake using the focus peaking function.
Do you have a filming app like Protake or FiLMiC Pro yet? I’m assuming that you do or you are about to get one. WHY? Because they’re great for unlocking the potential that your smartphone has. Unfortunately, the native apps our phones come with are rather limited in what they can do. And Protake is one of my favorites for many reasons. One of those reasons is the visual analytics functions available. You can get more accurate focus and exposure and better skin on video by using these properly. And it’s actually quite simple if you just take a moment to learn. There are three functions: zebras, false color, and focus peaking. So get ready for a quick, informative, and entertaining 1.) Zebra exposure tutorial, 2.) False Color exposure tutorial, & 3.) Focus Peaking tutorial. Otherwise, you may find that some of your videos turn out having clipped highlights, clipped shadow, and out of focus shots after you’ve gotten home and taken a closer look at your shots. Oh, and if you are a FiLMic Pro fan and curious about the Protake app, Protake has a helpful addition in their False Color function that FiLMic Pro for some reason left out. Mistake, mistake on their part. Find out what that is. Check out the video for yourself.
