Protake is one of my favorite camera apps for both iPhone and Android. It gives you so much more control over recording your videos compared to the native iPhone or Android camera app. I am currently using the free version of Protake, you can easily choose a microphone, adjust audio levels, change the resolution, bit rate, frames per second, color space, stabilization, aspect ratio and more. With the pro version (paid) of Protake, you can adjust all the manual settings of the camera such as the shutter speed, ISO, manual focus, zoom, white balance, and more. In our Protake tutorial, I’ll walk you through how to use all the available settings and customizations.
If you are looking to record amazing videos with your iPhone or Android phone, you should definitely give the Protake app a try. Like I said, I’ve been using the free version of the app, the paid version costs $13.99 for the first year and $19.99 after, which is much cheaper than buying a camera.
