EVIGORS - Convert any bike to an e-bike... 250 Watts of POWAH BABY! 

I"m 72 years old and the hills aren't getting any easier, so I've been looking for a conversion kit for my Giant Defy Pro 0. This kit looks interesting.

I would like to see them offer one with 32h wheels and a 500w motor for the Clydesdales among us but if you’re a smaller rider 250w is plenty. Otherwise the whole kit looks pretty slick, especially the built-in torque sensor as that would make the bike feel more natural. Not having an external controller and rat’s nest of cables obviously keeps the bike looking tidy, that’s a big issue with other kits. I don’t even care about having an obvious battery mounted but I don’t want to deal with a bunch of messy cables.

I think it is pretty cool. I was checking out the website and you can tell they are still new. It shows a few models or options in the list, but only one works. I also saw that the hub can be ordered alone which would be nice to build up a different wheelset. It is only available in disc for now though. It peaked my interest but I would want to put it on a rim brake bike rather than my new disc braked bike. I do like it way better than the other manufacturers doing a similar thing. This is much more clean. I also like how it is in the rear wheel rather than the front like a Switch.

Definitely some cool new tech here.. I gotta hit you up when I come over to Shanghai. Just got into cycling and haven't bought my first bike yet. Id like to get some pointers on how to get the best bang for my little bucks

This is a very cool ebike category. Even at 12-13kg ebike, this would be portable. One of the reasons for commuting on a road bike. The big innovation is torque sensing motor that can fit a large casette in road dropout geometry

Pretty dope. Think this will help some people get into cycling and climbing so they can enjoy longer rides from the start and at some point drop the battery once they build their strength.

Run a carbon gravel bike with a similar setup from FSA. Can get almost 90kms range from the battery (250Wh) on road tyres on road. But usually around 50km range off road. 43Nm of torque, but limited to 25kmh in the UK. I have a 2nd external battery the doubles the capacity and range

Looks pretty cool. If they do it without the front wheel, and replace the head unit with ANT+ LEV capability, then it could be awesome.

3:05 yeah that's also very much how i do my ebike wiring 😀but i do usually also add some nylon sleeve to make it look a bit nicer. 🙂

okay okay. finally something that is actually somewhat stealthy. i have heard so many people say that those bikes with like 10cm thick bottom tubes that houses the battery and motor is stealthy but atleast to me those look very much like ebike.

How much is it? Also, if you add the additional 2 batteries what would the total range be under full boost and how are the power supply wires arranged?

would this not connect (wirelessly) to your usual head unit for control?

I just bought an e-bike myself. While I was researching, I wish there are Chinese options out there. When will this be available for purchase in the U.S.

Is there a rim brake version?

I was just looking at a Bianchi e aria, strange coincidence. The Bianchi e aria has so many limitations. The motor only kicks in when you're climbing, and the 250W motor provides the rider with assistance up to 15.5 mph (24.94 km/h) lastly, 200 watts isn't enough. A bit more would be better.

I think there is going to be a big market for (relatively or fully) hidden motor bikes in Asia. Specifically - for middle-age and older men. Guys in countries like China and Vietnam are egomaniacs and absolutely love to be able to show off like they are tough / rich / successful (even if they aren't - and even if it's quite obvious that they are faking they will still do it)

a chinese copy of mahle or other similar setup. nothing new there
