Evil Dead Rise writer/director Lee Cronin on bringing new death to the classic horror franchise 

Just watched Evil Dead Rise and loved what he did with the film. It was so gruesome, twisted and scary! He definitely understood the DNA of the film.

L O V E D this movie and I’m not an Evil Dead fan! Now I need to go watch all the evil dead movies and hole in the ground asap

Honestly, all Evil Dead is can be summed up in a short way. As long as the films have the DNA and backbone, they will always be good. No matter the setting or actors. I never had an issue with Ash never being in the 2013 or Rise. Cause I know he isn’t a part of the DNA, he was just another huge highlight to enjoying the projects he was in.

compared to the others movies this is the less convincing....dont get me wrong, it has great makeup, special effect, some good acting, a few great ideas, but it brings nothing new to the table imo
