ravesilly lol. some of these do apply to subarus though. two cars are very similar but you wont be able to push as much as you can with evos with bolt ons
Easy. 3in downpipe back exhaust (no cat) intake o2 dump grimmspeed EBC lower intercooler pipe 3.5in intercooler upper intercooler pipe if you want 1120cc+ injectors walbro 450 fuel pump choice of bolt on stock frame turbo (evo 9, fp green, red, black) port stock exhaust manifold tial bov tune on e85 400whp-550whp depending on turbo fit cams somewhere in the middle if you can afford it. 272/272 AT LEAST valve springs and retainers to rev past 7800
I hate how where I live, there's this thing called the Certificate Of Entitlement which is a paper that gives you the right to own the car. The worst part is that it can cost up to $100k. I'm only 16 and I live in Singapore, but my goal is to own a evo 9 or 10 as my first car as they have always been that car that catches my eyes on the road and whenever I hear the turbo kick in on the highways, its music to my ears. I'm thankful though that my father is supportive of me to work hard to get my first car and he's also willing to pay a bit of the sum if its not too much. Now that I've found your channel, I'll make sure to do all the right mods to my own requirements. Thank you my man for creating this channel, I love this Channel.
this channel is going to BLOW UP! keep up the good work bud! i drive a 2009 subaru WRX hatchback but im in love with your evo, and your videos brotha! CZeroMedia
Ty U. Mine is too. I have so many quirks that I do when I'm driving it to compensate for unusual things. It's weird when I drive newer cars at my job they are so boring because I'm not constantly doing something xD
to launch an evo without a 2 step is to hold down the clutch pump on the gas paddle (rapidly) to 5k rpm or more hold down on the gas paddle and pop the clutch
i do share the passion for evos n really hope to get one in the future, for now i have a 95 wrx with couple STI mods n extras. Id like to see what youd advice for one of these too! shout out from Bolivia, SouthAmerica.
Hey Czero! i love your channel, your engine is something else! I have recently purchased my very first Evo 8 FQ 330 Full Voltex. I have HKS mushroom induction and a free flowing exhaust. I was wondering at what BHP / WHP i would need to Forge my interals? Keep up the good work, Love from London!
Hey i love your videos and your evo!. do you think you could do a video about the older evos and modifying them? i just bought an evo 4 imported from japan, and I'm not sure what to do with it to get going. and I'm interested in a cam shaft!
I plan on doing cams, fuel pump and injectors to my 9. I know it will need a tune but would I be able to drive it to the shop to be tuned??. now i'm talking about 1 30minute drive and thats it. Car already has exhaust and full intake upgrades :)
I have an evo x and I'm only making 300 whp and 315 torque. My parts are basic bolt ons grimmspeed ebcs, ets 4' FMIC with uicp and licp, ams cai, tomei catback exhaust, and ets test pipe. Does my power seem about right? Thought I'd be more around 350whp but I dunno. My long term goal is as close to 700whp as I can get but would like to atleast get to 400 before I need start rebuilding internals.
could I add multiple parts and then tune it? For example install a catback exhaust, and head studs, and intake and cams and then tune the car? Or do I have tune it every time I install something.
New to the car scene, recently discovered my fetish for evos and i want one now. Just confused tho, when people say its better to "build/rebuild" is that just referring to replacing stock parts under the hood or does it literally mean a top to bottom rebuild of every part?
Around how much would all of these mods cost? And by any chance could you make a list of everything you said my phone and computer speakers aren't that good could only hear about 75% of stuff. Thanks man enjoyed the video though.
Hey Czero, i live in Canada and have an Evo V. I was wondering your opinion on kelford 272 cams. Shipping from the states is expensive and there is a person locally selling them.
Yo Zero. Great Vids bud! I own a '96 EVO IV since a couple of weeks and i would like to know what you would tell me to do to my car. Obviously its a 4G63 aswell but how far would you go with mods and daily drivability ? I just got a Blitz Intake and im planning on getting a full exhaust system and a remap. What are logic future mods for me to do ? Thank you very much and greetings form Germany ! :)
I'm new to evo, please help. So if I get a down pipe with no cats, how could I pass emmisions? Do the aftermarket exhaust come with o2 sensor places for oem sensors, and would i need to use certain o2 spacers or tune and not get a CEL?
Man, I want an EVO so bad. But I'm stuck with a Miata right now (broke college student life). What are some good tracks in like a 2hr radius from Detroit? I've been considering my career options and I would really like to work in automotive (I'm ME), but leaving Texas will be painful.
Theeban Ganeshan If you're a mechanical engineer on a low budget, with a desire to put a vehicle on the track anyway, you might want to check out the "Frankenstein" 1992 Hyundai Elantra that +Jafromobile has been building on his channel. I think the total budget was $400 for the original build by his friend Jamie, and maybe another $800 for the rebuild being documented in great detail on the channel. The cost of the rebuild might go higher as he finds more things to fix, but the end result should still be pretty cheap (excluding the cost of time and expertise) for a car with over 400 HP. Anyway, good luck with college & career.
How did I not find this channel sooner...Anyways the parts you recommended for the evo 8 & 9, would they be similar by anychance in regards to the Evo X? Planning on purchasing my first Evo :3
Love your videos, been subbed for a while now. Keep it up, but I have a question on the subject of evos. Do they come with oil coolers? Specifically water cooled oil coolers? Or is it just the air cooled oil cooler?
Claims to have 500whp evo... yet runs a 255 walbro with 1000cc injectors and stock intercooler? I wouldn't say it is much more than 400whp on a good day lol. Stock intercooler needs replacing at 320kw which is far under 500whp.
So I have a question..I got my Evo a week ago and have to pass emmisions. It makes 400whp but it is full straight pipe on the tune but I had to put a cat on it for emissions like I said. Is it bad for the turbo if I go fast ? I have an external wastegate but I was told that it puts extra stress on the turbo.
Hi mate. Quick question. At what point would you need upgrade the cylinder head and/or block. Can a stock head/block handle these power upgrades? is it recommended. I only ask because I am soon to buy an Evo 9 and don't know to much about it.
Hey CZeroMedia , I own a Japanese imported evo 8. I was told by my tuner that the stock bottom end is only suitable for 250kw(330hp) at the wheels. What is your opinion on this?
XD chune your car....love you accent man and i wish i could import evo 5-9 here but we have a dumb 10 year rule.....no car over ten years can be brought in
