I would highly advise against the Teflon tape. The tape will break down in hot oil and clog your oil passages

For the front mounting jack point did you have to remove any of the plastic underbody to get access to it? I read on the forums that people were doing that for easier access type thing. Thanks for the video! 👍

Tohka - Glad you enjoyed 👍🏼 no I keep the under tray on because to do the oil it has that little section being held in by some 10mm bolts that gives you full access after being removed. Now if you don’t have a jack with a smaller head like the one I used in this video you won’t be able to jack it up in the small hole I used but rather may have to jack it up from the side and get it on jack stands. Either way not the whole under tray just the oil access drop out section

@@xtra_slo1596 Got ya! I just went for a quick look and I found the small hole, kind of next to the little section being held by the 10mm right? I really appreciate these videos! They have been super helpful for me since getting my Evo haha. I've watched your other installations and bumper removals and they're all very easy to follow. The improvement on your videos is pretty clear too 🙂

Thanks for that compliment! Videos slowly get easier so glad to hear they are improving and yes passenger side should be a 18” x 6” section that will remove with those 10mm. Good luck and always comment for xtra help 👍🏼
