@@daffafamous61797:20 when we switched to interior view you can hear a little ding ding noise that's the speed chime... Some cars back in the day used to have that when you were driving at speed of over 60mph or 100kmh, kind of to let you know that you are driving fast and need to slow down...
@@stas_fri3124 , do USA versions of the Mazda RX7, as well as the last generation Chevrolet Nova, which is essentially a Toyota Trueno AE86 in all but name, have them as well?
Gran turismo 4 has a beautiful graphics. Hard to believe it is a ps2 game. Gt sport is a big big improvement after gt6. I'm looking forward what can polyphony digital do on ps5.
Few things that may be possible due to MORE POWER on the PS5. Full VR implementation (VR in MP or with more than 1 Ai) Better rain? Dynamic Time Dynamic Weather maybe? More drift smoke Better Photoscape if they put it in Better mirrors. Why not a Polyphony editor (like rockstar editor) It's kinda hard to think of what they can improve on since GTSport looks really good already on the PS4 and the use of its slightly weak hardware is amazing. All I can imagine is them getting better at the physics engine and features that weren't added in SPORT. Maybe the PS5 is where GT7 comes in.
@@trishnagaara5652 no, even on PS2, it was the only PS2 game able to run at native 1080p and it looked very beautiful. The emulator is only a small improvement nothing more.
GT6 graphics alone made my friends believe that i somehow actually drove a right hand drive civic type r in Nurburgring and we were 18. Imagine all the crazy reaction those guys from 90's would have to see these level of graphics.
GT1: sounds more like a straight 6 GT2: so quiet I can barely hear it GT3: generic 4 pot sound GT4: still generic but sounds like something nice already, bonus points for the Shigeno version GT5: they got the tone right though yet again it’s the vacuum cleaner sound syndrome GT6: honestly the Shigeno’s 86 sounded better in GT4, bonus points for the echoes and other sound effects though GTS: frkn SPOT ON
There is new Toyota 86 in 2020 It takes the design of Toyota 86 in [MF Ghost], [Initial D] story sequel after 20 years later. Toyota drops Celica car and now milking 86 because meme
actually a thing in GT4, i recently finished perfecting it, and changing oil after long races or finishing multiple cups is important for getting peak performance
this gt2 in video is not the real but a good enanched emulator version, I remember gt2 on ps1 it was pretty bad even for his period (in terms of graphic)
many people compliment gt4 but i dont see any respect for gt3. the graphics were amazing for the time and should be given credit with a high res recording, you can fool me that its an early 2010 game
@Brandon Kilian Do not quote the ancient texts to me, I was there when they were written. What always got me about that particular car was that in the pits, it sounded JUST like a cammed 440.
I remember my Grandad used to play PS1 games and when he grew older he didn’t know what a PS4 was. He came to my house and he said “Oh you still play Gran Turismo?” And I showed him GT Sport races and he looked stunned. Almost made me cry to see my grandad look so fascinated in his eyes. Poor guy I gave him a hug and gave him the controller ^^
Wtf Polyphony. You guys work hard on detail in GT sport. i mean... look at the reflection on the windshield. It's like how we see while driving the car on a sunny day
GT1 is how i first fell in love with the ae86, fc rx7, fd rx7, fairlady z32. Long before i ever hears of initial d, i was dominating race tracks with the ae86 and the fc rx7 lol
"A86" is the name of a highway just close to my home . first, when i saw the title i was just wondering "how does he know?" what does this hace to do with gt lol
I'm still impressed by GT4, even today. Probably my favorite GT of all time because of the city courses. Nothing better than zooming around Italy with an Alfa.
I wish people who do these kind of "comparison" videos would use original hardware. PS1 GTs did NOT look like this. If you want to use an emulator, at least turn off all the filters and hi res polygons to make it look more authentic.
Wow, GT1 on the PS1 looks so old, at the time it felt like Alien technology to me. I must have put over 1000 hours into that, I would come home from work and play it all evening every single day.
Initially my comment was "GT1,2,3 graphics were awesome back in the days", until I read that those screens were probably ran with PC emulators. Nonetheless, the progress from GT1 to current GT Sport (6.5 or 7?) is a marvel.
gt3 and gt4 were the best, i remember doing the endurance race on nurembergring lol started before going to school in the morning, paused it came home and continued. Won some crazy ass jag supercar which i sold. Did it with the Ford GT my favorite.
Sometimes l honestly think people that complain about gt5 and get6 didn't even have them, they just jump the bandwagon in order not be different or get criticized. I am not saying all of them do that but majority probably do. I don't see how gt5 and gt6 are bad games, they may not be the best in the series but they are by no means bad, in fact I have the most hours spent in gt5 closely followed by gt sport. I also believe a lot of people simply don't see the fact they may like older gran turismo games because of nostalgia and not necessarily because they are better games. But because you played them as kids so it's engraved in your memory and it brings back childhood memories. If you were to play gt2 for the first time right now, you probably wouldn't finish it because of outdated graphics. I am not saying graphics matter that much but they do to some extent, not to mention that with each release of newer gran turismo PD improved on something that the previous GT didn't have like better physics, better reflection, draw distance, more objects, better textures and all of these things add to the immersion to simulate real life-like experience. Which means that if older titles didn't have the aforementioned features it would take away from the immersion and it wouldn't be as believable regardless of how good the soundtracks were in older gt games. After all, we are talking about racing games not guitar hero. If you want great music while you play your game, just have it played in the background on your computer or something.
Old games... I remember myself as a child and we did not chase the graphics, but just enjoyed the game and its features. And all the games were good. Now, we have stunning graphics in racing games, but a poor plot. Enough to play 30-60 minutes and forget the game.
@@00quasar the first couple need for speed games never had plot, ridge Racer, and Daytona USA never had a plot. The only old arcade Racer I can think of that has plot, would be ridge Racer type 4 (if you even call it a plot). Besides graphics have always been a big thing for racing games. When Daytona USA was released in the arcades, people thought it was the most realistic game out there. But I can agree with you on modern plot driven racing games, they get boring really fast
Sem dúvida o antigo a virada do carro e bem mais realista 👍esse de 2019 vira igual pedra o carro Parece a virada das motos e dos carros do gta v , zuado parece q os carros não tem amortecedores
GT1/GT2 is a game that turn me to motorsport and JDM. I spend a long hours playing this this when I had 10/11 years old and still remember nearly everything. Amazing memories.
Awesome Video! +1 I was not there in the earlier GT games, having just bought PS4 Pro I bought GT Sport mainly because of 86. Thank you for this video! Oh and can you tell me how did you got the tofu shop decal and the license plate? because i saw a video which had '3 door' on license plate and no decal. I am still new to GTS
