Evolution of Halo Part 2: Pre-Xbox 1999 Version to 2000 Demo 

We're finally getting some of this in the MCC!

This is from when Halo 1 was still in development and this version was never finished, as far as I know, so I'm fairly certain there is no place to get it.

God damn, I wish we could ask them questions about this, I hate having so many and I know there's no way I can even get three answered, since they're such a big company now interviews are probably for big reviewing companies that get to only have scripted questions and not the deep cutting ones that die hard fans gotta know! Does a copy of this version still exist, what was the planned story for it, and why were so many features cut! The game had problems and it looks like they put and planned to put a bit too much in for them to get it all working at 110% by the release date, that I understand, but I just want to know more about what was to come out of this version of the game if they had decided to not do the changes they did...

@264Studios it would have been awesome by the standards once it would have been finished, with this game if it would have been released once it was done it would have been awesome but this was just a basic build of the game

I miss old Bungie from 2001 - 2010. Don't care for current Bungie and never cared for 343. Old Bungie's energy and atmosphere didn't feel corporate or sterile. Felt like a bunch of friends making games together. You can easily tell just by the way they interacted with each other in videos like this.
