Thank you for the excellent playlist and great memories, I watched all parts. 10/10. That has to be THE greatest walkthrough I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot. It's a very big shame that you stopped uploading videos. I would have really looked forward to watching the rest of the Halo game walkthrough's, because you do it so professionally and well informed, and you don't sound annoying and immature like some of the current amateur geeks that I feel forced to watch sometimes.

7 years later people still have trouble with Halo 1, and this guy beats the game without breaking a sweat.

Wow, dude, this has totally kept me entertained the past few days. I play Halo CE a lot still and I have a very set routine that gets old. You've provided some interesting alternatives. And, on a different note, your commentary is pitch perfect: you have a voice actor's baritone, sapience, dry wit, deadpan humor, and can thoroughly entertain while informing. I'm surprised that 90% of our tactics are identical, which is awesome. Thanks for the great walkthrough! Halo 2 and 3 next, please!

Hey if you are still active on this channel and if you ever read this comment. Man Thank You. This last stupid F warthog escape annoyed me a lot. Thanks especially for the last part (the part where Master Chief needs to get on the ship). I got killed there twice by one of the Covenants. I was playing on Legendary difficulty. I had played and finished the original game back in 2006. That time I didn't have any troubles with the covenants. Probably I forgot which route to take to avoid any unnecessary conflict. Anyways, thanks again. Namaste.

wow, this walkthrough brought my memories back. Nice! I played it through multiple times, but here I saw a lot of tricks I never thought it might be possible. BTW, Why so many shootings at jackals? They pretty easily can be removed by melee.

I've finished the campaign today thanks to your guide. I used it mainly to discover how a pro would defeat those "hordes" of goddamned flood. Nowadays FPS aren't that huge.

Very useful walkthrough. The parts with all the flood were very hard until I saw the walkthrough, then it was easy. I know its a very old post but still useful.

The ending cutscene is awesome. Specially how one piece of the ring flies to the other side and breaks off another piece. A lot of people don't realize how big those pieces of the rings are. 10km in diameter and 32km across.

in the book i think it explains how he got into an escape pod, probably sealed it shut and floated in space. MC later finds him

yea i noticed that too, but it is also the same on the front cover of Halo:CE, the banshees in the background are both flying in their 'empty' positions with the cover up.

@nevik54321 Yes that was Johnson in the cutscene, he survived the blast because when the pillar of autumn exploded it didnt blow up the spot the autumn was on, it blew up the section of the ring with like a shockwave or something of some sort, now how he got out of Halo is that when he hugged the elite he probably took the ship that the elite probably had, the elite probably did not go with Johnson because he killed the elite for the ship. Now this is just a theory that i have on how he escaped.

You probably should have gotten a nearby health pack close to the Warthogs before you started.

Those grunts with the fuel rod cannons on the ledge only appear on lengendary.

@PJmcfairybouncer The cutscene where the autumn explodes is NOT canon. Johnson was on a pelican at the moment the cores went critical.

Johnson doesn't die in Halo: C E :) That Johnson vs. Elite cutscene was just an easter egg. If you look closely you can see that Johnson dies in the Pvt. Jenkins' helmet cam video. Sometimes he dies like a normal marine is some levels. The Johnson escaped from the first Halo on Pelican -dropship.

I think the view count for these vids are going to go up drastically with Halo: CEA coming out. It does deserve it if any Halo: Ce walkthrough does. It was as close to perfect as I've seen, excellent and appropriate commentary. Will you be doing a playthrough at least of Halo: CEA? Obviously a walkthrough would be redundant.

@user4n55 he did die a few times before guilty spark, which he said he cut out because no one needs help dying on halo ;) he said he hadn't played the campaign for 3 years.

ha ha! i love the ending where johnson hugs the elite. i just finished it on normal so all i got were a bunch of flood walking towards the ship

@evanlegomaster this is the ending when completed on legendary, the ending when completed on the other difficulties is different; less arse grabbing haha

@januszekg Sergant Johnson hugging the Elite is considered non canon. Also read Halo:First Strike. It will answer the rest of your questions.

to the guy who did the walkthrough great job first off but i was curious, if this is halo pc i thought the flamethrower and fuel rod were actually usable weapons in this version

because they know theyre going to die in the end halo blows up and theyre johnson (or whoever) and the elite r still on halo

The game play for the campaign is the same in both PC and Xbox. The fuel rod gun and flamethrower are only playable in multiplayer.

@evanlegomaster No, you get that ending if you beat the game on Legendary. It's not canon.
