Nana and Popo have built up a surprisingly high reputation, haven't they? Now a random one-shot game that released in the 80's and hasn't received a sequel since will be remembered by the staff and fans of Nintendo alike.

Poor Popo and Nana. They only got one game that was on the NES. Heck, they even got cut in Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS. (Masahiro was originally supposed to put them there, but the 3DS version had a problem with the Ice Climbers, SO THEY GOT CUT) Also, like the EarthBound characters, THEIR 3D APPEARANCES ARE ONLY IN SMASH!!!

I think that Nintendo should make a breath of the WIld like Ice climber game. Amagine Nana and Popo exploring a vast open snowy areas full of mountains and dangerous polar bears. It would be great.

It will always be a grave injustice that they never got a revival game. They've more than earned it by this point.

Arcade Ice Climber almost feels like a sequel then remake. Especially, when you get to the later "red" levels. Anyone dying for a sequel, should try the Arcade Archives version on Switch.

The jumping sound for the older games the ice climbers were in was the same sound used in super Mario bros but slightly lower.

Ice Climbers consisting Popo and Nana made their first appearance in their own game based on their name. They also made their cameo appearance in the Wii U version of Super Mario Maker and WarioWare games. They also appeared in Super Smash Bros. games since Melee, but they've been cut in SM4SH because of the hardware limitation on the Nintendo 3DS (although they would fully running on the Wii U), and they're finally returned in Ultimate released for the Nintendo Switch alongside other 7 returning fighters consisting Pokémon Trainer, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Wolf O'Donnell, Solid Snake, Young Link, and Pichu were all truly revealed at the E3 2018.

I am still waiting for someone who's got permission from Miki to make an Ice Climber game, I mean everyone loves the ice climber duos and they want their franchise to recontinue like Pit's Kid Icarus franchise.

Wobbling, infinite chaingrabs, an insta-win "freeze glitch", degeneracy, and an actual game that isn't Smash, that no one would probably remember if it weren't for Smash. The legacy of the Ice Climbers! (and probably a few other Smash characters) Their coats in Brawl sure look nice and fuzzy, though.
