With the release of Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, let's delve into the evolution of the main Luigi's Mansion games from 2001 to 2024. Luigi's Mansion Arcade, where you can use a 'real' Poltergust 5000, is not included here. I remember stumbling upon it in a mall while traveling in Taiwan. Good memories! 0:00 Luigi's Mansion (GameCube, 2001) 1:06 Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (3DS, 2013) 1:58 Luigi's Mansion (3DS, 2018) 3:12 Luigi's Mansion 3 (Switch, 2019) 4:47 Luigi's Mansion 2 HD (Switch, 2024)
I prefer 3 over 2. I remember playing it for the first time and being impressed by the graphics, thinking "This is the kind of game that shows what the Switch is capable of - really polished visuals." Controlling Gooigi also expands the gameplay, and the combat mechanics, where you slam ghosts into other ghosts, is fun. But honestly, I enjoyed playing both games. What makes you choose 2 over 3?
@@GuyLinkBrushGamingI think 2 is beter than 3 in combat it feels so good to round up all the ghost before you stun them and get that charger full but 3 has beter visuals and bosses so yeah
@@GuyLinkBrushGaming 2 feels more focused and doesn’t take to long to beat. I love 3 but as the game goes on the floors get shorter and aren’t as memorable. By the time you reach the 10th floor I feel the game starts to overstay its welcome
