Meanwhile in NFS rivals: Me (as racer): just chilling, parked legally in a parking lot. Random cop patrolling: i'm about to end this man's whole career.
@@maxwellhosea2724 It feels like you're struggling to survive. The feeling of having almost 0 health left on your car and seeing a repair shop just ahead with heat 10 cops on your tail is awesome. The adrenaline rush is amazing. It's awesome playing as a cop too. You feel like a guided missle seeking to take out all racers in your path.
Heat's cops are a lot different than other NFS games. If you want the normal NFS cop experience, try messing with them during the daytime and they'll respond appropriately to you hitting traffic, speeding, damaging property etc. But at night, it's when Mercer's goons come out so the cops you see at night are all the corrupt cops who don't really care about their work but just wanna bust some racers and steal their cars
@@errisonalexander1114 They were originally going to have properly customization, more cars, make it more like the original Most Wanted. Instead we got this, plus BMW M3 GTR isn't included in the base game. Yes, they made the BMW M3 GTR a paid DLC called Need for Speed Heroes Pack.
The funniest and dumbest thing in NFS MW, parked my car beside the road, random driver hit my car in the presence of cops... The cops: I see suspect in speeding vehicle, showing no sign of stopping. I was like: WTF!??
NFS MW Me: Driving fast but literally NOT HITTING ANYTHING Police: Report coming in about a driver who ran a civilian off the road (or sth like that, I ain't playing in English) Me: *facepalm*
It's stupid that there was technically no cops in Paybacks freeroam (except for bait crates) but there should've been the House Challengers and X6Ms instead
Fun fact in Carbon: if you open the message inbox during the dispatcher's "attention all units". It will cut off their call to everyone. So it delays their response for another same call. This can be done infinitely as long you press it in time. In other hand if you pause and than resume the game during race or after the race. It will accelerate their call. Though it's often cut off because crew member radio has higher priority over police dispatch and only responds if you're quite away from crew member or the crew member hasn't said anything for a while.
@@alsa4real if you don't want the cops be send early (after you caused too much damage before cops start to patrol) or you want to approach or (slow) free roam with cops around after you (accidentally) caused too much damage. Extra note: some of the heat 1 zone does not send cops at all. Those are technically heat 0 state but is still shown as heat 1. In actual heat 1 zones one cop still spawn.
Yeah I feel you man. NFS ProStreet NFS Undercover NFS MW 2012 would have been even more better if the developers were not rushed by EA. In fact, EA's greed for yearly titles eventually led to the demise of black box.
You know if you honk at the cops in nfs heat, they'll chase you after two warnings? They also don't like you following them for over 10 minutes because I've gotten one to chase me for that infraction as well.
I remember Undercovers cops to just start a chase if they don't like your face or sth 😅. Still, although unpopular opinion, Undercover has the best cops
Funny thing about Undercover is that you can't understand what cops gonna do. They sometimes so smart sometimes brain farts npcs but I love to mess with them by the crush into them :)
The only thing i liked about nfs undercover cops if they can't catch or you're car is superior to the cops vehicle they will call better high speed police cruiser no matter what heat level you are in the only thing i hate about nfs undercover is that no matter where you are there are dozen more cops i mean they out number civilian vehicles
In earlier career. Or lower level cop events. The cops actually call to cease the chase if the player disables too many cop cars. In that case cooldown car is filled up rapidly in front of cops.
Yes. Regardless of heat level (heat level is only relevant during free roam but not during chase. Where on heat 1 and 2 cop just patrol around while past 3 the cop will activity hunt the player and chase on sight unless he's in a hiding spot (where the cop just flashes the light and than resume free roaming))
Rivals' cops definitely stands out to me than MW 2005. They share the same tactics in MW 2005 and HP 2010 but literally they are the most brutal and deadliest cops in the franchise. MW 2005/Carbon only had Corvettes and Rhinos in Heat Level 5 but when you reach Heat Level 10 in Rivals, cops will swarm in driving hypercars such as the Agera or the Venom GT, sending backup with excessive force, and with deadly pursuit tech, they are the most organized and smart cops in the game. They are commonly using 2 helicopters that drop deadly spike strips while in a pursuit. They made me rage several times, like literally when I escape, they will catch up to you again, the balancing of the Racers and Cops AI is definitely hard to maneuver. Only losing them feels impossible.
Most wanted 2012 is probably the most realistic cops. In most 1 to 2005 you could be going over the speed limit behind the cop and they would spot you but in most 1 to 2012 you have to speed pass them for them to be able to go on you
In nfs heat as long as you have wanted level 0 no matter what you do they won't chase you unless you hit them hard, if you are wanted level 1 and up just by seeing you they will chase you.
In Undercover, if your heat level is 1~2 the cops usually ignore you if they see you (as long dispatcher didn't get called out), but on heat 3 or above. They will active searching to player's position and chase on sight. But if you're in hiding spot. They will just flash lights when come close proximity to you, and than resume patrol. Though free roaming like this is simply impossible. This can also be done on certain events but doing so can softlock the event. Unlike in Carbon and Most Wanted. Only Civic Cruiser is spwened as patrol car (kinda make sense since patrolling street don't need top tier car) unless playing on 'events'.
@@legendarysuperduckling9505 yes. They just flash light and than leave. In Undercover the cool down areas work even outside the chase. They only don't work when there's a busted/evade bar present.
@@legendarysuperduckling9505 I play on PC though. But sadly I play on steam version so it lacks challenge series. But the bouncy physics at high speed is atleast much less happening on Steam as it happened much often when I had a pirated version of it (when I was a kid) that had challenge series.
@@TimDragonDeckers Funny story, I asked my dad for most wanted and he ended up bringing me undercover, I didn't even know about that game, the first thing I felt was excitement because I was like "YES I GET TO BE A COP!" And undercover was like "Yeah but..nah...Yeeeeah.......nah." I think the game was fun.
NFS Heat Cops Aren't smart but boy are they tenacious (at least on hard). I always assumed they late racers speed because of the legal race events they have during the day. like the whole city is an autobahn
Id say that nfs heat has.. the worst cop smarts... like.. after you speed past a roadblock they just... sit there... and don't chase after you like the ones in undercover in a pursuit. In a undercover pursuit, they will break from roadblock formation and attempt to chase after you if you're not too speedy.
11:12 used to play that game alot since it was the only nfs game I had at the time .3. cause I lost my other ones for a bit. But it's not necessarily because you're going at a high speed. The cops in most wanted 2012 seem to go after you just for using NOS. Was sitting at a gas station once (played this on Xbox btw) and accidentally typed the A button while sitting idle (which activates nos on Xbox). A passing cop saw this and turned their sirens on. Guess they think if you use nos you're a street racer
@@danilookovic7971 it's a video game .3. it's not supposed to be completely realistic. That makes games unfun unless they're survival games. If I wanted to deal with real life laws then I'd just go outside
@@grimreaper63151 fair enough but even from a game standpoint you're in a city where street racing is the #1 crime of course they're gonna arrest you for using nitrous. Even if it wasn't illegal you would be using it to go faster.
0:54 likes the 2 first drivercgames (driver you are the wheelman and driver 2 back to the streets) when you crash a bit reacts faster and ate super sensitive
They're just the same as Rivals lmao, even if you are idle for how many minutes, AI cops can still fuck you up. They're deadly and bloodthirsty as hell.
So there was this police following me,he hasn't seen me but I was in a really hidden position where I can keep burnout but cannot be seen,it's in NFS 2005 and it's really satisfying seeing those police car riding without them seeing you
And this is the exact reason why i love heat and its cop system they will only chase you if you have a heat level or if you bother them as long you dont have a heat level and dont bother them your free to do what ever the shit you wanna do
In nfs most wanted... If you do donuts they actually win chase you... I had the black edition no idea if that makes a difference... But... I always chose the cobalt SS as a starter car cause how op it was
