Huge props to whoever edited/animated this. Had to have taken some long hours but it's amazing to see the car transform over decades right before your eyes. It really helps you see what changes were made. Keep it up Donut!

I want to see a comprehensive evolution video. Start with the VW Beetle > 356 > 911. Even better to go further back to show the designs that Ferdinand copied when designing the Beetle. So basically take that, squash it down... and, voila. Porsche 911.

The Golf's story is very sad Mk1 = cute, small, lighter than 99% of cars nowadays Mk2 = fatter, longer too, GTi was quick Mk3 = fatter, looks nice, GTi was nice but a bit heavy Mk4 = possible the best-looking Golf, fatter, DAT R32 THO!!! Mk5 = looks odd but still nice, around same weight, another great R32 Mk6 = fatter, there goes the styling! Mk7 = lighter (nice!), ugly but the R version with 300hp is great

I loved this video. I wish the transistions weren't so fast though because I had to pause on each one to really read the weight/hp and look at the changes. The sound clips were awesome too.

Oh, and I'd love to see a Defender history like this... The design is always pretty similar, but I'm curious about the evolution. Would it be possible to have, instead of a "evolution of the *nameofamodelhere*", something like "top models from *nameofabrand*"? Something like the top performance Lamborghinis/Ferrari/you name it that came out until now (eg: F40, F50, Enzo, FXX, LaFerrari...)

yea.. that graphic where you see it evolve backwards is cool maybe that shouldn't have been obscured near the end of the video and easy to see. I kept rewinding it to rewatch again you can learn so much from seeing it quickly evolve, how the tailights kept getting higher and higher with each model

Tman5293 pffffff nope..... The 911 has been the most domanative production car In motor sport period. Dominating GT racing, touring car, endurance, rally, etc.......not even close.....
