Loved this video! Big fan of the LGMs as I grew up loving the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command TV show. There was another Disneyland Paris float with them on too. Used in the 20th anniversary parade and possibly the 15th too. it had Toy Story on one side and the LGM's were inside a giant claw machine at the back. They were static though or at least not articulated.

I was at the Toy Story Ice Show and the Pizza Planet sequence was one my absolute favorites. I didn't hear or see anyone else complaining about it. The only thing that scared me about that part was when they had a gigantic Sid head come down from the ceiling and have a giant hand grab Buzz and Woody. THAT is terrifying.

Just curious. Did Buzz & Woody have an argument when they were hiding from Sid ready to control The Claw just like seen in the movie ? (Buzz: What’s gotten into you Sheriff I was.. Woody: You are the one that decide to climb into this.. Alien: Shhh.. The Claw! It moves!) And then did The Claw caught one Alien saying I have been chosen.. Farewell my friends, I’m going to a better place on ice like in the actual film ? Sid sees Buzz’s face being hyper sleep and controlling The Claw again pulling him up, Woody grab his right leg, the back of Alien won’t let him fight The Claw and then Sid won the double prizes did he say Let’s go home and play during end of the scene act 1?

I love this recollection of Toy Story aliens! The first one is creepy because it looks like one of those horror/sci-fi films back in the day! I liked the last one the best because it depicts the aliens as friendly creatures instead of a creepy Close Encounters of the Third Kind-type of aliens! Next, do Buzz!

I agree on the aliens on Toy Story on Ice (not the current version, which I believe is really good, the old 1996 version) being terrifying. I don't know why they didn't saw that mistake during the testing room (in a large ice rink testing area where they would have tested the darklight effects on the aliens, and said "Wait a minute! This may horrify children and adults alike, let's change those costume designs!" ).

The original Disney On Ice version didn't really creep me out as a kid (pretty sure the Australian version was the same costumes) for the same reason mentioned about Hook and Hades in your more recent video. I wasn't close enough to see the creepiness and I was too excited to read how they made stuff in the program that I never really noticed how odd they looked. If anything, the giant Sid at the end of that scene creeped me out more.It was actually my favourite Disney On Ice as a kid because of how it dealt with scale.

I was there during the short time it was in the park. It was mostly based around the buzz lightyear tv show that they had going on at the same time and I believe it was there when Astro Blasters first opened.
