Donald definitely has better luck as a costumed character than Mickey did. Honestly I think modern Donald is the best costume Disney has done for their characters. It’s really hard to distinguish any major differences from the actual animated version of the character.

Loved the video! Disney history has always been very interesting to me, but I noticed that you did leave out the Kingdom Hearts version of Donald, which is understandable because it was barely ever seen and probably one of the rarest characters alongside the Kingdom Hearts versions of Goofy, Mickey, and Sora.

Can clearly see how they took a different direction from the 1994. Interesting! It didn't seem like a lot of drastic changes, but like you said, a lot of body changes and a smaller head.

I've been to Disneyland three times so far in my life and all of which were during the 4th stage of Donald's mascot design. Glad to know I wasn't the only one that didn't like the 4th design, and I was always a big fan of Donald Duck.
