I'm with Ross on the sandwich. You don't take someone else's food while knowing it's someone else's. Throw it away and offer the thrown leftovers from the trash
There's that story about a woman who worked in a hospital, I don't know if she was a nurse or a medicine student, and every day someone stole her lunch, so she put laxatives in the food and kept an eye on whoever ran to the bathroom. It was her boss 😬
As a kid I didn't understand Ross' anger about the sandwich, now as a grown adult "That sandwich was the only good thing in my life!" is TOO relatable.
Monica and Chandler were so unfair to Joey in this episode, just kept throwing him under the bus after he has been so supportive of them. I loved Joey's payback 😅
19:55 I love how cute Chandler is when he opens the door again just to give Monica that little kiss that makes her smile like that, their love is so pure ❤
Maybe, but I do like an upcoming episode, which btw he directed, when he, Rachel’s dad and a woman he hasn’t met yet all coincide in his apartment. That’s a funny scene.
"He takes naked pictures of us, and then he eats chicken, and he looks at them!!" 🤣 Love these eps, especially the first one. Everyone knocking it out of the ballpark.
I love it when Ross takes a message for Rachel from a Casey (KC) and asks what he wants with her, and Chandler says “Well, I'm guessing he wants to do a little dance... you know, make a little love... well pretty much get down tonight.” The way he says it 😂
I LOVED Courtney Cox's portrayal of "Monica" and I find it ironic that she was the ONLY one of the six main actors to NEVER even been nominated for an Emmy for "Friends."
I love how the producers included the external shots of the NYC Public Library and the Flatiron Building to show the volume of Ross's exclamation..."MY SANDWICH!"
Yeah each of the guys has a comedic strength, Schwimmer is a great physical comic, La Blanc is so good at playing dumb and delayed reaction, Perry has impeccable timing and top notch sarcasm
Theres a flashback where ross was singing his song he made up "i am bee" or something and she cleaned up his mess after he ran away crying cause he made a mess 😂
The cold opening where the phone call Chandler always gets to me 😂. Poor Chandler he was so fed up. I can’t believe he never thought it was Joey messing with him🤣
I’m the first one to comment! So excited to watch! ❤ 19:55 The part where he reopens the door and kisses her before leaving, wasn’t actually scripted. Matthew came up with that on his own!
@MorganReznickStan Absolutely, his Chandler and his personal history mixed into one unifying explanation of having a defense mechanism of humour. I would never have survived if there weren't people like Perry
Your reaction to Dani’s relationship with his sister is exactly mine! I have a brother and I remember more time of us literally wwe wrestling than hugging and being all lovey lol. We would only hug when saying goodbye for a while, hi after a while, and Xmas/bdays lol. The bath thing? Def sick hahahaha
Rachel is usually popular among men, so she doesn't have to ask anyone out, but then she's helpless when a guy is not asking her out. She is too scared to asked Danny directly, while Monica and Phoebe both are used to asking guys out. Rachel is such an interesting mix of being scared, a pushover, and yet being successful. She changed a lot since season 1
Ross is becoming SOOOO much more funny in season 5 and further seasons, I can't wait to see more of your reactions to friends ! Cause even tho I love the fourth first seasons with all my heart, I soooo like the further seasons as well.. there are so many stuff coming, but anyway, you'll see, no spoilers ! Another great vid ❤️
@@andreshernandez1180 Like which events? Because I think the creators could have given a little more depth to Joey, and maybe fall in love, for the first time ever with a woman, Monica... or just give them a casual thing but ending in a friendly way... idk 🤷♀️ I'm pretty sure the audience would have reacted the same with Monica & Joey as they did with Chandler. But I'm glad they went with Chandler, they had that chemistry, that je-ne-sais-quoi from the beginning.
@@GreenAliceVerteI feel like the audience reacted that way for Monica and Chandler because the characters did actually fit so well. The chemistry was always there. The writers would have had to really alter both Joey and Monica to make that kind of fit for them.
If some flaming ass stole my food and acted like it was nothing I would definitely act like I was fine with that -- but would not only make sure he couldn't get within 30 feet of my food again, I would find a way to get revenge. You can't get a guy arrested for stealing your food at work, especially if it's your boss. And so many people grew up so food secure and wealthy they think you're crazy to say anything against a filthy little thief like that. So you have to find your own justice.
22:23 definitely not a typical sibling relationship. I wrestled my brother when we were kids but I would never be comfortable being basically half naked and wrestling him(feels weird even typing that)
Nah, I went to a magnet school in HS, I can confrim many kids make it through school culture and still remind the teacher when they forget to collect homework or give a test, etc.
23:19 Once, I broke my brother’s pinky. He had broken my nose a week before. We were 9 and 7. I’m a girl. I had long nails. He was taller. It was awesome!
omg me too i love when Ross is being angry 😂 and it’s so funny when you couldn’t watch Danny with his sister being weird 😂 i totally get it Two great episodes and as always great reaction ! Can’t wait for next week
Honestly I liked Danny and the way he and Rachel met, I though they had good chemistry(definitely better than with Joshua). I though it was a very dumb way to have him leave the show but of course he wasn't meant to be a long term character.
Can we really blame them for keeping it a secret for so long, it actually gave them a chance to develop their relationship outside their friend group so it didn’t feel like dating all your friends. But’ Of course poor Joey. he was just being a good friend, If he hadn’t been caught in between they would’ve been Found out sooner with how bad they were keeping a lid on things
Monica and chandler never tried to hide their relationship like they not even trying also so gross like 1:21 the underwear, like Monica is supposed to like things to be clean
Hey I was wondering if you would watch Pocahontas the disney movie ! It was number one of my favorites (very different from the actual true story) BUT REALLY GOOD ❤
When your done with Friends, you should react to the sitcom Frasier next. It was on in the same period as Friends. It was on for 11 seasons and won a lot of Emmys. 😊
I would have loved if they did like a special deleted scene with Ross going super crazy at his boss like throwing stuff and punching the wall just because his boss threw his sandwich at the trash 🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣👍👍👍👍👍👍 I can imagine him doing that Ross
@@adrianpadilla1825 Yes, maybe for the ending scene ‘Mental’ Geller could’ve picked up the sandwich from the trash can, taken out the moist maker and thrown it at his boss or smeared it all over the wall as security guards tackle him 😂
While the drama between monica and chandler to keep their relationship a secret is entertaining of course, I also have always thought it was ridiculous too. I felt like they never gave a good enough reason for why they wanted it to stay a secret, they just wrote in any excuse to keep it going. If I felt like there was a good enough reason I probably wouldn’t mind how long it goes on, but when it gets to the point that they start ruining their friends’ reputation just to hide it it gets to be too much. Especially once we see how easily all of the friends dropped it when Joey falsely claimed it was him that slept with monica. The fact that even then they kept it going is just silly
It goes by so fast, but did you catch that the guy at 18:27 is the guy in Pirates of the Caribbean who is the friend of the one-eyed pirate, the comedy duo characters?
I have a pretty close relationship with my younger siblings, but NO way would I ever go upstairs and take my brother's pants off over a stain😅😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 It is kind of okay to be like that with my sister because we are both girls, but even then, we'd both run upstairs, and I'd give her my over shirt since I wear layers. Acting out me a highschool giggle fest is kind of weird... A lot weird 🤣 My Sisster and Brother are closer in age than they are to me and they portray the sibling relationship I'd expect 🤣 smacking, sarcastic humor, physical dominance 😂
@@Sun24848 Yayy, I’m happy I’m not the only one! TVD is my comfort show, I would love to see him experiencing it for the first time, I wish I could watch it for the first time again 😩🩷
@irmina_1063 that's what Friends and TVD are for me, my comfort show. And this is also why I'm watching Friends with him, almost makes me feel like I'm watching it for the 1st time even though I've seen it at least 20 times. I haven't watch TVD that often but also know it pretty well. Watching TVD with him would then also feel like I'm watching it for the first time. And his reactions are just so fricken good! 😆
I only like Ross when he's spiraling and kinda hate him as a character (nearly every major conflict can be traced back to him. The show should be called "Friends and Ross"), but even I'm with him on the sandwich thing. There is no scenario in which you should ever eat a unique sandwich out of the work fridge. A plate or box of sandwiches would be a different story, but if you see a lunch in fridge and you're not sure whose it is, there are so many reasons not to eat it. I think it should be a fireable offense. At best he showed spectacularly poor judgement.
Ross and his sandwich = is me (a little bit less dramatic of course). Just last week a colleague of mine took my butter, even though there was one already open. I just said to her in my calm Dumbledore voice ("Did you put your name in the goblet of fire?" - the book version of course) that it's mine. And she made a drama out of it: "Oh it's not that serious...it was just a mistake...you're such a drama queen"...and then behind my back ("Oh she can't have any of my rolls, that's for sure"). 🥲😆 She just doesn't understand that when it's about food - it's serious. Also - Monica & Chandler were awful to Joey. He is such a loyal friend.
Yeah i'm sorry. Idc who the hell likes Mondler. This episode just annoys me. They kept throwing Joey under the bus and making him look weird. All he tried to do was help them and they took every chance they got to make him seem like a freak. Also i agree. During these episodes (of the secret) cuz they focused so much on Mondler, we never got anything really for Phoebe and Joey. Not only is it cuz they're my favorites but also of the fact that they feel like they started to feel second characters that are only there for comic relief. Cant wait for more episodes! Don't agree with some of your takes but thats the point of a reaction, to get feedback
