This movie is about de 1963 Rally including 300 SE (n°705 and 723) and not the 1962 edition, In 1962, n°711, the licence plate is S-JX 190 (220 SE) and finished first. In 1963, n°711 (again) but the licence plate is S-LH 839 (220 SE) and finished third.

I owned (for + 15 years) a 1966 230s 4 speed stick shift with larger rims and tires installed. I often drove off-road on dirt roads rally style and lucky I didn't kill myself all those years. Built like a tank and suspension was like an off-road buggy. Such an impressive win with her world class driving. I had that car airborne many times, but not like her 3 second hanger in one of the RU-vid clips.

This was wonderful racing. Really tough on the cars as well as the drivers. Wish I had been there.

Fantastic Film!! and a few things to note,the W112 has air suspension and that particular was one of very few built with the fourspeed floor change transmission.

Que bonito recuerdo...esa zona del 1.21 minutos al 1 .26 es donde yo los veía pasar y corresponde a ruta 40 por el departamento Pocito San Juan...que alegría ver esto después de 60 años.

I remember this Rally, but our drivers not. A very good documental, but the flamenco music is from Spain, we have our folk and tango. Take off please!
