When the jews flooded into Palestine after WW2 the Islamists were understandibly upset and retalitated with violence. A two state solution is setting up a future slaughter of Jews as has been done historically many times , ie. Lebanon for example. A one state solution will only continue what has been happening. She is adversarial in the sense that she treats all debate like a war, where doing whatever it takes (including misquoting, misrepresenting, or mischaracterizing) is acceptable to "win" the debate. And that's because you must fairly communicate/engage with other popular political ideologies if you want lasting change that does not require violent conflict. It is too late if people from different popular ideologies are no longer willing to engage with you. That's what Bri's bad faith debate approach does. It creates a bubble of isolation among supporters, which is excellent for social media likes and increasing followers, but it doesn't accomplish the change she wants to see in the world. Thus, she becomes part of the problem. As someone who wants to see more leftist policies accomplished, this is an issue with many on the left. Too many have become performative manipulators and agitators rather than competent communicators who can make rational and evidenced-based arguments that detractors must contend with. If all we do is make bad faith arguments to win, our policy stances can be dismissed, which is precisely what is happening with people like Bri.

@@scratchpenny Right on. Thanks for your response. Can you give me some examples of Bri's "bad faith" arguments that are just performative? I watch a decent amount of Bri along with plenty of other news sources and believe she does quite a good job of keeping to the facts while trying to educate viewers on the framework surrounding topics. In regard to the Palestinian genocide that is happening right now, history and context is incredibly important and i applaud her for including this as it is vital to understanding both sides. In this video i see her speaking truth to Israeli lies, propaganda, and power. Again, what is the bad faith argument in this particular video? i am not sure i see it, especially when compared to who she happens to be arguing with in this video. I think she is a disciplined truth teller not afraid of change or to rock the boat. Maybe you don't value this type of virtue the way the rest of us do in the comments. what do you think? The reality is this is a centrist show. If they go full left-wing all the time with Bri, they will lose more than half their audience. They really need to replace both of them with more capable people. Bri is right on this topic, but the show has turned into this low-information adversarial debate show that doesn't move the needle. Despite being owned by one of the largest TV Network companies in the world, the hosts are less informed than many political bloggers.
