Excalidraw is an excellent plugin. But I really miss the quick ability to annotate images in Obsidian. I mainly do quick screenshots. In Evernote they have the old primitive Skitch, which still works on all platforms. Would it be possible to use Excalidraw for this somehow quickly? Because the current procedure known to me 1. create a new drawing - 2. paste screenshot - 3. annotate in Excalidraw - 4. switch to the appropriate note - 5. and paste the link there is very tedious... And besides, I can never achieve "normal sharpness" of the text in screenshots because the image is pasted in Excalidraw... and somehow the resolution is being recalculated and it's blurry...

when I was use excalidraw... I can explain what i learn as if I'm explaining to someone else through visual, connections, file links, videos, and even presentations! OH MY GAWD as if obsidian is the plugin and excalidraw us the main software LOL (read the pdf 👉understand something 👉make a note in obsidian 👉understand the whole pdf 👉 explaining things to my self using excalidraw 👉 came across of similar concept on internet 👉omnivore it to obsidian 👉at the end of the day open excalidraw add more explainable connections and the good thing is while doing that i can just see this excalidraw and remember what did i remember what did i didn't remember oh this is the best way to re learn what i learnt : "when i don't remember i just open the connection to the notes pdf, etc" and sometimes "there was a time i couldn't explain it so i kept it there and when times goes someone's in internet have better explanation than the pdf! "

Excalidraw seems to render via HTML canvas element. How did you manage to embed files like pdfs on excalidraw canvas? Could you please make a video on how did you achieve this? (code-wise)? Or at least tell me where to look in the codebase?

How do you hide the external link blue icon in the upper right corner?

nothing happens when I double click on my mac. Anything I need to change or do I do something else on my mac to open the cropped picture?

I would say that if the prefix is empty then it should add no prefix until there is a filename conflict. And that postfix is a better option since it potentially sorts with the file.

One query. How to embed pdf when self hosting excalidraw in browser.

You single handedly has taken obsidian to a height where no one can rival it. If there would not have been excalidraw in obsidian, i wouldn't have even used it for one day as I m very poor in using keyboard(single finger 👇 user). Samsung Tab and excalidraw are made for each other. Hats off to you Sir.
