Excellent..can you make a series of videos on using Macros.. beginner to advanced..I think with your teaching style it would be a breeze to understand 😊 Also do you teach python? If so can you make a series on that too..thanks much
How can you do this if the source file is password protected? Worked without protection but when I put protection on it comes up with different options and I don't understand!
This is super useful. Just the solution I was looking for. Do you find this works a lot faster than having an ordinary cell reference to the other workbook? Because that's what I've been doing :')
can we also change the column while it get filter from the original data? i.e: original data has some figure on column "H" but while getting the data I needed that "h" data to be shown in column "g" ......is it possible ? please help
Really useful. Thank you. What happens if you left the final gender table blank? Is there a way to get the refresh to return all if that table is left blank?
If you only want to refresh the underlying data then. Select a cell in the external data range. Select Data > Queries & Connections > Connections tab, right click a query in the list, and then select Properties. Click the Usage tab. Select the Refresh every check box, and then enter the number of minutes between each refresh operation. If that's not good enough then you could do refresh with a Macro.
