A Grey Knight revamp should have rules for Terminators as they have enough suits to outfit the entire chapter. I was thinking of buying the Starstriders as I wanted to build a Rouge Trader crew using some minis from Blackstone Fortress, at least I don't have to resort to eBay now.

I think that they may be more likely to recreate space hulk for a box, which given rumours of new dark angels, blood angels and tyranids for 10th edition from next year isn't too far fetched as speculation goes. We won't of course get rogue traders now they've brought back the starstriders, and probably not nurgle models either.

5:38 Also veteran guardsmen can take an extra four vanilla veterans as an auxiliary instead of the different artillery strikes. Which gives them a max of 14 bodies.

With the Lego sabers, I kinda liked it with the bubbles, it gave it a cartoony and lighthearted feel. It’s like those tubes of bubbles that every kid had around and pretended they were lightsabers.

As neet as that is, i think its waaaay cooler to make in-game objective markers, something bashed out of spare parts like a dead space marine or an ammo cache or something

At the NOVA Open reveal, they said Squats collector box comes out this month. Daemons comes this month too. On the idea of Terminators coming to Kill Team...if you can do 4 custodes, I could see 4 terminators. The only thing I see with that is that typically, terminators don't operate in squads or 4...but then Space marines don't usually operate in squads of 6, so hey.

I really appreciate your videos and they've gotten me back to trying to paint my pile of shame but if I could make one critique please add more side pictures. For example with Dropzone Commander (a game I've never heard of) you start explaining all the factions and I really wish you provided pictures of examples for them. How each faction looks is what will sell me on a game and I feel swapping in some pictures to show would really help maintain interest in it.

What I really want to see is Ravenor vs. Eisenhorn, Cain vs. Gene Stealer Cults, and Gaunts Ghosts vs. Bloodpact Kill Team boxes. It doesn't fit into the themes they're going for, but not having Kill Teams based on their most popular novel series' seems like an odd choice. Or maybe the first 3 way kill team of Cain, Jeurgen & TERMINATORS vs Tyranids vs. Orks

The coin threshold in my store was £60 - I picked up the chaos coin when they did that because it had lodge token vibes and I really liked it. It is pretty decent quality. Slightly smaller and lighter than I woulda liked but hey

Looking forward to the Starstriders, particularly the officer type as he would fit in well with the Navy Breachers. One thing the Navy figures lack are higher rank officers. The old Battlefleet Gothic rules presented them as having high collars and a kind of late 1800s quasi Napoleonic/Germanic look right down to the Junkers dualists scarring.

I visited a Warhammer store today asking about that Votann, the guy there said 24th of September - so I imagine pre-orders for the new box will be around then (either that Saturday or the one before). This is in the UK by the way, but I doubt it'd be different elsewhere.

I travelled 4 hours to my "local" (read: only one in the country) Games Workshop store. Was there on "release day". When I got there "sorry, the shipment of store models and coins has been lost, so we didn't get any this month". I order for probably ~€150 every month from their online store, why can't these models and/or coins be added to those orders as well. I know it's to encourage people to travel to their stores, but when you do, their concept never works and you're always disappointed.

Maybe I'm wrong, but GW updated Core Rules with this when the Chalnath FAQ: Some rules allow you to activate operatives in succession before your opponent can activate. Regardless of such rules, you can never activate more than two operatives in the same Turning Point before your opponent has had a turn to activate a ready operative or perform Overwatch. So I guess GA 2 is the max number for that stat since "you can never activate more than two operatives before your opponent".

If I bought the old Tau / Wolf starter set, what can I do with it? After the rules changes I stopped caring about kill team when I learned all the old armes are not valid anymore. Is that true? Is it going to change every 6 months and make your kill team obsolète?

no it was a change in edition, basically kill team 21 is a different game to kill team 18, the way list building works is different, every team for 21 is still playable in kill team 21.

Drew Carrey is probably the faction you can easily get away with spamming transports and troops. The troops can carry all the weapons you need, while the transports get you in position and with the -1 to hit ability and/or stratagem are a bit more tanky. No idea what the current codex threw in in bonus abilities, but they are probably overkill, as in every current codex.

@@EonsOfBattle it removed list building and specialties, and replaced inch based measurements with shapes. all of my interesting lists were now illegal, without specialties - necrons were all vanilla, no flavor.
