Dude you HAVE GOT to do an elevator lift up to the second level! Theyre really easy to build out of a 110v winch/lift system and some unistrut!

You may want to add an overhead crane (electric winch) on a track, so it will lift the heavy stuff, and then you can slide it on to the loft area. Edit, or just get a small forklift haha. Your work looks amazing and will last many years, cheers

For future safety, with the loft work bench, you should put the feet of the table to the same spot where your rafters are, that way, when you stand up from your seat, you won't bonk you head to the beams. Just making sure you don't hurt your spine any further! Keep it up my man!

Consider some kind of lift or elevator for heavy or awkward items to go to the loft area. Carrying one of those subs up a ladder would be difficult and dangerous. Be smart be safe.

Looks a lot like my workbench. All 2x6 construction with 1" plywood on top. That loft looks super comfy too. Very nice workspace!

Very cool! You really need some type of lift system to get the heavy stuff up and down from there. Maybe a 2 foot by 2 tray to load stuff on. A pair of 2x4 on either side to act as vertical rails and then a small electric winch tied to a pulley above. You load the tray with something heavy, hit the switch on the wall and it lifts it up. Something like that. Save your back and increase safety.👍
