Open Bid Situation = Don't forget to factor in Your preferred Lifestyle ie; Family / Relationships, Hanging Out in NYC / Your Apt, Health / Workout, etc, etc into Your Decision making. Work / Life Balance is VERY important especially in the long run. Carve out some time and think everything through. Good Luck😎

Couple good options, stay where you are if you like 'comfort zone'. If adventurous and want the experience. go for international, just be prepared for time away from home. Here's one thing, you know what you have now, you like the workouts, etc. Only you can make this one, Pete, and you will.

767, right seat. Quality of life is Extremely important. Gonna be hard to get to know someone and keep someone when you leave for half of the month at a time.

keep MEM 767 until you can get IND on either 767 or 777. in the mean time, build that seniority. more options will open up down the line.

Love watching FedEx planes come over my building on short final to 23R at IND, including those B763's. I will be bummed when 23L opens back up next month. I will miss watching the heavy's fly 400 ft overhead! I think you have a sweet thing going. Stay where you are, especially since you have a girlfriend and you have more schedule flexibility. B763!

767-MEM. While it would be cool at first, I think the long dead heads back and forth to Asia would get old and as you pointed out if you end up reserve on the 777 not in base would not be ideal

one thing to be mindful of on this system bid is what is happening with the flight crews of the other types, one comes to mind specifically. you already are on 767, they are not. likewise they may be trying to retain international flying. going from that type to a 767 would still keep them flying in the company but would overall seem like a downgrade verses moving over to the 777, much like for them going from mainly international flying to more domestic flying. you mentioned around when the last system bid occured. that sounds like it coincided with another fleet type retierment. sure this may seem like an opportunity, which it is, but i would play defense given the system as a whole.

I dont know if if was you guys or not, but i live in north austin (texas) and I saw a fedex plane go over my apartment complex... all im gunna say is '' a little higher yall''.. lol the ground rumbled it was so low and the airport was a good 40 miles away still.. Im not sure it needed to be THAT low. it was so low you could read what was on the bottom of the plane with your bare eyes..

Some seriously big decisions concerning your profession. Anytime I’m facing what I consider life altering decisions it’s always best for me to start with prayer. Don’t know about you but I’ve found this is without a doubt the best place to begin. I’m into the ask and you shall receive….knowledge is power. Question: Other airlines if you are 76 rated you are also 75 rated. FedEx doesn't appear to do that. You are only in 76. Is that how it works there? I would stay in your current position. I wouldn't bid anywhere

Who 'am I to advise you?! As someone who dreamed of flying, but never got close to a career as a pilot, I would be happy with whatever they gave me! However, since you have options it seems as though you need to weigh the pros and cons. Honestly, the Asia option sounds miserable. Crossing the Pacific every 12 to 14 days sounds tedious and exhausting. If you go international, how would that impact your life at home? Sonia seems like a lovely lady. Is she cool with you being gone for extended periods of time? Either way, it's great to have options and it sounds as though you've got some tough choices to make. By the way I love the channel and I look forward to new episode releases. Wish you offered a subscription option with some perks for members. I'd be happy to throw some $ your way to help you keep making these videos.
