Daniel probably wants to see how Jon closes out his story as a fighter and moves forward in his personal life. Friendship must come naturally and not be forced, just like when you meet a friend in real life. Everyone is aware that not everyone they meet will end up being a friend, particularly if there is genuine hostility between you and that individual. Only time will tell.

Jon has not changed lol, Jon doesn't love his partner at all, this is why he has psychologically wittled her down to feeling like nothing, and has then been able to go off to strip clubs etc when ever he wants, also he's been able to physically abuse her at will. I kinda agree with the fact of ‘What’s the point’. Their careers have both gone each of their ways and the two of them have done their business together and moved on. But there’s always that thing of fans never quite letting go of a fighter beef because it’s fun to beef fanbases vicariously through fighters. Without starting to watch the video. Sometimes words and actions can't be taken back and excuses don't matter anymore. Just look at colby vs masvidal or Khabib and Conor. I personally, and of course i could be wrong, don't believe that Jones changed. Very often people only say things to look better in public. Just watch the Jones vs Dc interview where Jones thought the cameras are off. You can forgive someone or just forget the bad actions, but that doesn't mean that you have to be friends afterwards or to sit down together.

I find it fascinating because despite being enemies or bitter rivals no one can relate more to what you went through than the person standing across from you. It's crazy to think Jon can share the story of his career with his biggest fans, friends and even family... but nobody will ever understand like DC.
