This is the house the Beverly Hillbillies "lived" in.....btw Mr Perenchio didn't build the 40 car garage it was part of the original construction, al he did was update it. The garden on top of the parking space replaced the tennis court which was moved back closer to the pool.
Started at $350 mil. sold for $150 mil. Probably because it will take at least $75 million to updated the interior to something this side of the 20th century. This old world styling bothers me just as much as ultra modern glass and metal. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the period correct styling of a 300 year old French Chateau, but I and probably no one born later than 1950 would never want to live in it...unless I was in France, it the 1700's, not LA 2019. BTW: I wonder if that remote control for the screen is wired and has big buttons that click.
